a player of mine recently raided a vault of magical items and stole three things, one of which was a cursed mask that was calling his name.
I tempted the player with this mask, fully expecting him to be smarter than that, however he called my bluff and took the mask. the session ended and he asked what the mask did and i told him his character would find out.
i didnt expect this, just started brainstorming but i thought i should come here since I'm no good at cursed objects

Banned: Prized Amalgam-Dredge has proven to be a problem, and this card is the source of that problem.
Unbanned: Jace the Mind Sculptor-Ancestral Vision didn't put Blue back on the map, so this card could come back to give Blue an extra push

From a new player to veterans: why is it so bad that the Tau don't fit into the 40k universe tonally? It seems like having that kind of foil for the other races has a lot of potential.
Is it not grimdark that the Tau are so optimistic because they are largely ignorant of the inescapable horrors of a universe to which the older empires take for granted?

More seriously, the devs said on the canard pc forums that VR is currently being tested, and that environment destruction is limited to mainl cosmeic damage (so no falling pillars like in this trailer, unless they've done a ton of work in the last month)

It depends on what year the Yu-Gi was born. Teenagers are pushovers and will likely listen to anything you say, but you have to watch out because they get into trouble easily. Bullies are an especially common problem, getting cards and other belongings stolen.But if they're 3000 years old or more, you need to be extremely careful. They have a high chance of being mentally insane and might try to bait you into playing deadly gambling games. Do not accept under any circumstances. I wouldn't even look them in the eye unless absolutely necessary, they have a tendency to mind crush.
Every once in a while you might a friendly one that's a little weird, tendency to talk to themselves, but does well in events and tournaments. In my experience, however, they're ALWAYS cheaters, so keep a close eye on them.

Alright /tg/, I'm working on a homebrew dieselpunk fantasy weird war campaign, but I haven't settled on a system.
My friend suggested Mutants and Masterminds, and it could work, but I think this system might work better.
Also, is Savage Worlds even worth paying 30+ dollars for for the corebook and the supplements I'm interested in?

I prefer SW if for nothing else because it's simpler and faster. Grab some fan supplements(Savage Armory and one for spells).

Savage Worlds is a really good system and you might be able to get away with just using the free rules they have online.
At the end of the day you either want to use a system that is designed to be generic, or one that you are so familiar with you can manipulate easily for your purposes.
