I'm glad you asked, imaginary person in my head! Basically, what we have to do is make some sweet clothing statistics to round out basic stuff for playtesting, and we want to make some reaper sports to fill out the grid. I don't have that on hand to link here.

We still also need to discuss what's happening with trust and the UG environment. If anyone can think of something else that is imperative, please mention it.

Part of the reason why I think Trust may no longer be strictly necessary as a mechanic is that we've already got some systems in place to incentivize cooperation in combat, vis a vis Assists and Set-Ups which allow Players to boost one another basically at will. This makes it so that team-work in combat is somewhere between a good idea for standard fights and utterly vital for serious fights.

One other thought could be for Trust to impact Group HP, though from our playtest it seems that we've already got that HP down to a certain agreeable level.

No, and neither is Sentai: The Merchandising. oWoD already doesn't have a good core rules, and depending on how you look at it, the only good fansplats are Princess, or Genius, and/or Chris' Mass: The Effecting and/or none of them.

I thought Ray-guns were supposed to be particle weapons. As an extension of stuff like the Teleforce.

Size modification, weaponized.

Need to capture someone? Whole lot easier if they're tiny.

Need them dead? Tiny enough they can't breathe in air molecules. Make them big enough, same effect, also they crush their own installation with their corpse.

Hm, I'd hoped they added more errata since adding the missing charm - oh well.

So just recently picked up the PDF and there are two problems Im kind of trying to wrap my head around. For context my experince with tabletops is mostly D&D, Shadowrun, and Savage Worlds.

1st. Exactly what is supposed to amount to progression in this game? From what I gather the PC's already start out something akin to near max D&D characters and with the traits/Resources you already can start out with all the riches and other toys that would come out of that. So exactly where do you go outside of the usual "And then we conquer the world"?


2nd. Exactly to what extents are the PC's assumed to be "Good Guys" The book kind of paints the Solars as these perfect and pure beings, and how the whole affair with Sidereals way back was just the Sidereals being dicks when they should have just talked it out. But from other sources such as forums online that apparently was not always the case. Is that true? Or did the setting lore get rewritten across editions

She seems to tear up a little as she holds your hands between hers, and you feel your jaw slowly dropping at how close her rant came to actual truth. A bit wild on the whole 'tragic love' angle, but still. “It must have been so hard for you!”

“Come on, Hime!” Chizuru laughs nervously, moving to adjust the red frames of her glasses despite the fact that they're sitting right where they should be. “This whole thing's too crazy, there's no need to make it sound even crazier.”

“Actually,” you muse as your hand finds your sash, “this belonged to Okita Sōji. We weren't lovers or anything, but he taught me Tennen-Rishin Ryu and was surprisingly soft-spoken for such an accomplished killer. Way less strict than everyone said he'd be.”

Chizuru's laughter stops as soon as she realizes you're not joking.

He's still trying to find solutions to balancing out what Towa's taken in her little flight. And the fact that Towa hasn't tried to recover this already worries him."

That's... a good point. Towa probably would want something like this back, or at least kept away from you purely for situations like this. She's probably had a million opportunities by now to retrieve it. So... why IS it still here?

"Well, perhaps Towa has a spare?" Bulma speculates. "It's not like she would need a lot of these. Maybe she can make them on her own- ...wait, then she might be using them more frequently."

"Who says she doesn't?" Gola asks.

Both you and Bulma gulp at that thought.

When I was in High School one of our players would always threaten to commit suicide in character if we didn't do whatever he wanted. The general response was "Okay, go ahead". Eventually he actually did it, and we finally managed to get him kicked out.

The only reason he was even in the group is that he was going out with one of the players we actually liked. After his character killed himself out of metagaming spite even she agreed to it.
