I've finished putting together 2 boxes of Luchs. About to start 2 boxes of Fuchs. Once they arrive in the US, I'll be putting a box of LARS together. So how about a little arithmetic.
8x8 = 64
6x6= 36
4x6= 24
So my aufklärungs list will contain 124 wheels. The total value of points for all wheeled vehicles is 18 points, Thus I am getting a tremendous value of 7 wheels per point!

You are Captain SAMANTHA WELLINGS, a newly minted captain of the Centauri Accord!
Currently, your ship was lurking just outside the Kemmler system, where the name planet and your target was located. Now, Kemmler itself seemed like a regular enough planet. Fairly rocky and bare, with a thinner than usual atmosphere and high temperatures, making it a less than ideal place to live but a perfect breeding ground for raw materials and ores.
However, your objective was to create a large enough disturbance to distract the local defense forces so that Accord Intelligence could do their thing. Carly had returned to the Long Claw, which was lurking just off the Gullinbursti's rear starboard side.
"Captain, I'm putting up our reconnaissance data now." Bradford announces as images light up on your tactical display. "It looks like the planet has four destroyers and six corvettes on active patrol. It also appears there's a cruiser docked in orbit for routine servicing. No idea of its combat potential, but there's the possibility they can activate it in an emergency."
"They're not messing around, huh?" You sigh. "So do we have any targets?"
(cont)
>>48907787
"We've identified four possible targets." Bradford nods and turns to your sensor officer. "Lida?"
"There's the aforementioned cruiser in drydock." Lida speaks up, her voice still rather quiet. "Hitting that is sure to get their eyes on us. In addition, there are several ground facilities on the opposite end of the planet we can target via orbital bombardment. Or we can try to lure them further out by hitting their early warning satellites or interdicting system traffic."
"Um, am I the only one who's gonna point out that we're SERIOUSLY OUTNUMBERED?" Amy grumbles. "Even if we do have kickass tech, it's still two ships against over a dozen!"
"Well, we do have the advantage of surprise and mobility!" Elizabeth smiles. "It all comes down to how we leverage it."
>Keep Gullinbursti and Long Claw together. You need to consolidate all the firepower you have.

Why the fuck would anyone worship a cosmic horror? Yeah, i know they're driven mad by dreams, and Dagon is a bit different because he actually provides for his followers, but how could a Cthulu cult exist if Cthulu is just gonna destroy everything when he arrives?
Or any kind of cosmic horror worshipping cult? Do they think they're gonna be saved? Where do they think they'll live when the world is gone?
>>48907065
Hysteria and other mental issues do away with most rationality.
Humans are pack animals, and it is a subconscious drive to follow that which is greater than oneself. They believe in these immensely powerful "deities" and thus revere them, especially given the fact that these monsters actually interact with them on a small yet horrifying level.
If he's gonna destroy everything anyways, might as well give it a shot to do his bidding. Even if he does, at least you tried.

Kitsune are only bad when the DM over-emphasizes their lustful nature or under-emphasizes their natural inclinations towards deceit and trickery.
A Kitsune might eventually suck your dick, but she's going to "accidentally" frame you for the theft of a magistrate's illegal hoard or a boastful Ronin's sword before that.

Depends. For simpler spells, I like the Tales of- style of giving them slightly flavourful names, without going overboard. For truly world-changing abilities and spells, Exalted all the way.
I love cheesy, Exalted-style ability names for things.
Because they'refun.

"Why are you two in in my room?" I ask tiredly as I lay in my bunk, rubbing my eyes and scratching my face to try and wake myself up a bit faster. Ajax stands up on my lap and growls at the two marines standing in the door way, looking like two stalks of corn or something.
"Well" they say in unison like they're a pair of twins, turning to each other and pulling their caps over the eye "Captain Fal wanted to see you for some reason, so she sent us to wake you up"
I run my hand through my hair, yawning as I try to remember what day it was when I fell asleep and what I was fixin on doing after it.
But I just draw a blank and shrug.
"Well I haven't a clue about" I say slowly as it dawns on me as I start to actually wake up "it's my day of isn't it?"
"You get days off!?" The twin on the right yelps, turning a little red as the left one frowns
"Er, I think the captain just took it away from her" He says calmly "Besides, it's probably just more patrolling, since that's all you've really been doing"
"And yet you've managed to find several rebels that way...you're a magnet for bad luck" The right one says with a chuckle as he lifts his hat up "Guess you really deserve your title of evil eye"
"Yeah, yeah but...I'm pretty sure she'd tell y'all something" I say, grabbing my cap as I swing my legs out of bed "and...well I haven't had any coffee yet, so unless you're fixin to.."
"WAIT" they shout holding both of their hands up "She didn't tell us anything, she just gave her usual scary glare and told us to get you, don't use your devil fruit on us, we don't know anything"
I blink, as Ajax glares at them, meowing angrily as they refuse to leave when he wants them to.
cont
>>48904396
"Uuuuh" I say slowly as they try to push the other in front of themselves "I was saying, unless you where fixin to tell me something, I was going to get some coffee to wake up and forget my bad dreams...didn't mean to scare ya fellows"
"Well could you stop smiling so widely" they say, even though I know I haven't been even smirking a little
"and could you two idiots get out of my room" I huff, putting my hat on as I glare at them in annoyance "I need to get dressed and I'd really like'ta have some priv.."
And they're gone in a second, faster than the wind in a storm.
I shrug, and close the door.
"Well, I hope today is gonna be peaceful" I yawn, rubbing my face as I start to unbutton my shirt "...even though I could use a bit of excitment"

How do I politely explain to my players that Charisma checks don't fix everything. The party had two paladins and a bard and all three players have started just rolling charisma the second they run into another living creature.
Start by politely explaining to them that Charisma checks don't fix everything and go from there
Have some common sense
>>48901384
Remind them that all the rules do with a successful Diplomacy check is make them want to kill them more gently, maybe keep their baby-faces more intact so they can sell them as slaves.
Just because they like you doesn't mean they're not going to shiv you, take your loot, and being pretty probably just means they've got even worse plans for ya.
>>48901384

>only half-celestials and aasimar get to be royalty or nobility
>the more celestial blood, the more prestigious
>in theory, if they could place a full-blooded celestial on the throne, they would
How would this work out?
>>48899531
Nothing changes, other than nobility now having a blatant 'our bloodline is holy, divine mandate' claim.
>>48899531
That's just having an inheriting aristocratic class governing things, only instead of the made-up excuses they gave like "the superiority of the noble fighting man" or "divine right to rule" they give more tangible reasons that involve their ruling class being wiser and more charismatic then normal human being, and having divine superpowers along with a natural inclination towards altruism.
Instead of royalty and nobility marrying it would be different divine bloodlines, that's all.
>>48899565
That was actually already the claim for many rules, hence concepts such as the Chinese "Mandate of Heaven" or the European "Divine Right to Rule".
It would just be much more literal and perhaps even true in this case.

Any ideas for playing the Mad Scientist without homebrews?
Guild Artisan Stone Gnome Knowledge Cleric is as far as I've gotten
>>48898907
Yeah that will probably do it. If you want to use your contraptions in combat though I heard a thief rogue is good for that.
>>48898965
I'm tempted by the thief rogue, since it also comes with the ability to skill monkey, but it makes it hard to then also be proficient in both the things the Thievery mechanics require and the things the Mad Scientist requires
