If he's traveling alone he's not traveling in plate armor. Even if he wants to.

Full plate requires the help of another to take off/put on. If he's traveling alone/without a squire he'd definitely have something simpler to store and wear. Probably a mail shirt and a helmet.

Plate armor doesn't mean a knight will be chivalrious.

Chivalry is not something you can buy: it's how you behave with other people that makes you honorable or not. So yeah, you could potentially have a fighter that does not wear plate armor be all cool and chivalrious and stuff.

No it would not make sense. A bit of discomfort is worth being that well protected.

Going forward in DZC, I'd love to start seeing the Resistance becoming integrated into UCM armies. I'd love to see this rivalry show up between UCM and UCM auxiliary units, as the resistance recruits constantly moan about how they miss their technicals, hannibals, lifthawks and other vehicles. Special points for UCMified freeriders and battlebuses. (could we get tron light bikes?)

To be fair, that's how they're going in the fluff; Eden Prime is well underway to being assimilated into the UCM, and they're starting to recruit legions from there, which I paraphrase "will be the toughest and most elite common soldiers on the UCM roster"

In exchange for "UCMified" resistance coming into the UCM, we might get to see more UCM support assets worming their way into the resistance, as well as whatever else the resistance dig up on their own.

An ape with a lightning gun, a DJ with a sound gun, or a dude with flash-bangs and a pistol hold little hope when compared to the kind of shit which exists in the 6th World.

Force 12+ Spirits, Great Dragons, Cyberzombies.
They'd be torn to ribbons.

Also they'd never have clearance to do anything, bar working directly for the Corporate Court. In which case they'd be chained down by paperwork, and only ever able to deal with the most dangerous, world-threatening crises.

Also you know, even TRY and do anything, and you'll likely upset the plans of a Great Dragon. And then they'll eat you, your friends, your family, your team, and then everyone will blame you for it. Because you don't fuck with Great Dragons.

They have no magical defense.

Otherwise they should be doing pretty okay I think.

A question, can Surprise Anticipation Method eventually render the indefinite Keen Sense charms permanently committed for no motes?

Hmm... I was planning on saying 'no' to the question but upon reading the relevant charms, I can't see why not. But there are a couple things to note:

* The things that trigger the free motes are very specific. It can't just be anything you didn't notice, it has to be a hidden threat. Additionally, as a GM, I'd probably rule that it has to be 'intentionally' hidden.

* You probably won't get enough motes on the first relevant awareness roll to make even a single keen sense technique free but you could pay them all off over time.

As you can see, we're having a little diversion before the interview. This is intentional, it gives you time to get together the points you want to make during the interview, arguments, and particularly impressive lines. It's always good to get your story straight. For instance, I noticed some Anons in previous threads discussing using the fleet to establish an independent state in the asteroid belt, or at least take over some more territory. Whether you want to announce that, and how, would be an important thing for me to know before we get into the interview itself.

The next level is quite similar to the previous one, and you can sense a few significant energies here as well. Beyond that, you sense two very familiar powers.

Goku and Krillin have arrived.

But, there's a third, one that also feels familiar, though you can't quite place it. You remember a green fist knocking you out, and this power does feel similar to Piccolo, but not exactly how you remember it.

Maybe Piccolo made more children? But then, why would one of them be working for Kochin? And what are the other powers you're sensing.

At least there are fewer doors to choose from on this floor. There's one on the right side of the corridor, and one on the left. Beyond that, you can continue down the hall.

Give it a great new hideout, far better than any they already have.
Offer them a quest or numerous opportunities for locals to befriend them, specifically reciprocate this with the occasional "local hiding you from trouble" provisions of food and such or even just a few good celebrations and feasts.
Most of all give them some or any kind of task in the region to which they can feel a sense of accomplishment, such as the building of. . .something, a church or some other relevant to them. Tying the place with a physical thing to be proud of, and a desire to defend if under attack.
