Killed my first player character the other day. The rogue stole from me in the first hour of the new game. While he was failing death saves, I executed em. Kinda felt bad, kinda didn't.

I remember one time a PC was secretly a doppelganger. I wanted to stop to investigate a few dungeon rooms, so he got bored and attacked two of us. The lolrandumb bard joined in with him. I assumed IC the bard had mind-fucked him into doing it, so I killed the bard and subdued the doppelganger.

The DM was broken, it had turned out that literally one room further was going to be a cool place full of references to prior campaigns and much-beloved NPCs. He was speechless and basically wasn't able to run games for a few months.

I find truely adore the unknown armies system and setting but it seems that it focuses mostly on America. I was wondering what the occult underground might look like in Europe as it seems to me that even most sources of inspiration, e.g. Lovecraft, Gaiman etc also seem to set the majority of their works in America.

So what advice would you have for running a unknown armies campaign in Europe and unknown armies rumours general.

Those who get lost in the catacombs beneath Paris, should they manage to reach the surface again may find themselves elsewhere.

So the battlefield in this months White Dwarf is pretty nice - I played on the Khorne fortress table next to it at WHW a few weeks ago.

Has anyone here had any thoughts about building a board to fit a certain realm yet? Or theming some terrain for a standard mat if not building a full board?

I've been thinking of making a Nurgle/Realm of Life type of board but it'd have to be a 4x4 because of my space limitations, and would have to be modular so I could pack it away.

Any ideas for cool Nurgle terrain? I love some of the stuff from the Realmgate Wars books, so I'm thinking of taking some ideas from the maps in there.

Sneeki Breeki Warmaster would send scout assasins to slaughter Ork bosses. They might also yell at them in orkish from the distance to convince the orks to fight each other, like gandalf and the trolls in the hobbit.

Bloodhound hunting parties are tailor made for cleansing worlds of ork scum. Land Raider convoys with jetpack retinues patrol the wastelands of Ullanor slaughtering anything green.

Warp Raider high-mobility craft could be ideal for hunting orks too. Oramar would be very interested in the sorcery of Ork Weirdboys and the gestalt nature of ork technology. Ullanor would be one of the early warning signs of Oranar's heretical notions.

Tons of Imperial auxiliae regiments of all sorts would probably participate in the crusade too.

Jafar Caan is one of the five tribal skypirates from Oramar's homeworld. He is master of the librarian cult of Ba'al Shathoth during the Ultramar Crusade and his warband is one of the fifth legion cohorts called to crusade at Ullanor.

The Ba'al Shathoth cult seeks mastery of the sorcerous art of teleportation. Through the manipulation of gellar fields and skilled readings of the currents of the warp, Jafar's cultists can suddenly appear where the enemy least expects them. To help facilitate this advantage, many of Jafar's warband use grav-harness jump packs, flying platforms, jet bikes, and sky sailers. To predict the movements of the Ba'al Shathoth is to divine the paths of falling apple blossoms: futility.

Jafar's men are called upon to cleanse Ullanor's high mountains and rugged hills, unimpeded by the curvature of terrain. The Crimson Warhawk ??th Company fought with Jafar's 5th Warband and the Sky Serpent's ??th thingymacallit to take down the Big Mek lord Irontusk who had built millions of hangers in the natural caves of Ullanor's mountains. Deeper into those hangers were squigmines which churned out rough iron for Irontusk's sky fortresses.

Earth has a population of around 7 billion
We would have around 7 pariahs on this planet, and thats if they haven't been killed yet.
They usually live on the outskirts of society, or are drifters, so you would have a hard time finding them.

I don't think you could deprive the Assassinorium of their culexus assassins for long enough to get a breeding program going since they need people NOW and not in sixteen years

Currently I'm working on an infinite plane idea which looks like a rounded diamond, where doing too far East/West will bring you to a coexistent location i.e. horizontal circumnavigation will bring you to a different place with the same stars/sunlight/etc. The poles are where it gets weird, allowing relatively quick travel between coexistent planes but mitigated by inhospitable environments, dangerous magical phenomena, here be dragons, etc. Sticking with Earth time because I want to keep it simple for others to get into.
