Post whatever characters you would play if they weren't so damn cancerous.
Me personally, one of the ideas floating around in my head is for a future D:tD 4k 7th Edition campaign would be to play a Daemonhost Dryad of Slaanesh who LOVES meat, couldn't get enough even before she Exalted. Now though, her tastes are, while much improved, have also extended to include many sapient species, with the exception of Dryads (she's not a cannibal).
I want to play with a "You eat what you kill" angle to it, only consuming those whom I have killed myself, because the best meals are the ones that you have made yourself. That and the fact that she grew up among a particularly militant Grove of Dryads, who not only hunt and eat meat but have done it so long that while they still can photosynth but the ability only 'Turns On' during lean times.
I wouldn't go out of my way to antagonize the party by eating the corpses of my foes right in battle or were/when it might offend them/others, nor do I ever plan to try to attack them but I know for a fact most groups wouldn't trust a Slaaneshi faggot NOT to do that, besides the (apparent) hardcore vore fetish, despite the fact that I hate vore myself.
Another point of note that would be the fact that my character would be OBSESSED with eating other Exalts, with special interest in eating Chosen, other Daemonhosts, and Demiurge, because they're the closest to 'God flesh' that my character can consume. This will must likely lead to even less trust from the party, particularly from those that want to play those Exaltations, when all I want to do is hunt greater shit and eat it, not fuck with the party in any (negative) way.

Being a man-eater, outside of civilized society, is too edgy? I've got a cannibalistic TN orc druid on the backburner, just waiting in case my current character bites the dust. Also having a "waste not, want not" mindset, chowing down on fools that picked a fight. It's only natural the stronger predators eat lesser prey, anyhow!

Other question to the thread, how would you feel about proxying if the models are clearly marked as being different? I don't like how the Shenlong looks but want to run it. If I have another cruiser, and maybe a much less exaggerated version of its head cone, I'm hoping people would find that acceptable.

Pretty much, as well as the fact that Dave wants to do up to 8 factions.
Depending on whether or not the Resistance factors into those 8 factions, there'll also be faction Y, Z, and possibly W in the future.

Additional Notes:
*For Veterans and Newfags- things will be pretty much as you know it being. I will point out that sea travel (excluding those with special sea travel attributes) is preferred along the designated routes on the map (cost of 1 tile), but for rather short distances (e.g. Flint’s Fingers to the iron islands) the OP will allow crossing of water at a cost of 2-3 tiles. Oldfags and newfags (read map), yes, if surrounding a city completely you get +1 to siege rolls on that city.
*For Newfags- rolls will be taken in real time. That is, as a player’s rolls/orders come into the thread I will their movements into the map before yours if you roll second (or after yours if you roll before them). Keep this in mind when giving your orders. Also map involves sieging cities and strongholds (capitols). You must be bordering or surrounding a city/stronghold to take it if you roll high enough. Please read the rules on siege rolling. Lastly when you are sieging a city, the word “Siege” must be in your roll to count.
*Everyone at least read the rules in the center of the map and your own House attributes. I encourage you to read the entire map.
*Lastly, yes we are using afk/leaderless faction defense based on the mupdate post number.

Hey fa/tg/uys, I need your help.

On the Iron Hearts:
I'm guessing Balthasar got to their homeworlds, but didn't quite realize how ridiculously tough the Iron Hearts were going to be. He was used to them being not only sickly shits, but severely understaffed sickly shits. He was met by an army of supermen way tougher than any standard space marine, their ranks bolstered by moderately superhuman auxiliaries and their weaponry optimized by the influence of various Dark Age technologies. He was totally unprepared for what he found and way too overconfident, and his Legion were never master siegebreakers in the first place. In many ways, save for their willingness to spill astartes blood, the Bloodhounds were among the worst Legions that could have been mustered to fight the Iron Hearts. Running into a wall of dakka is generally going to get you nowhere. I imagine it like Balthasar trying to headbutt an egg, secure in his belief that it will splat instantly beneath his super dense skull, but then it turns out the egg is solid adamantium and now he's bleeding everywhere and it's all in his eyes eugh ugh geh.
Basically, he had to make a hasty retreat to pull reinforcements in, and in the time it took for him to do so Rubinek in his sons had made their escape.
