In what context?

In folklore/mytholoy and linguistics, there is no difference. Both are English borrowings via Old French from the Latin "draco", itself a borrowing from Greek "δράkων" (drakon). (The word is ultimately of Greek origin, the original Draco was a unique monster from Greek myth, hence the northern constellation.)

What powers might you find in a creature of the 4th dimension, something that can straddle 1D/2D/3D/4D at will?
Context: Rifts, elevating a shifter into a godling via a ritual incorporating relevant spells, power and summoning circles, and kidnapped alternate versions of himself from parallel dimensions sacrificed to create a multidimensional version of the primary personality (his).

Assuming you mean a 4th spatial dimension.

Well from our perspective, such a being would
A) look really, really weird. Because, basically, seeing a 4D creature in 3D would be equivalent to seeing the shadow of a 3D creature- you're seeing it with one of its dimensions cut off. From the perspective of a 3D entity, a 4D entity would seem to move super erratically, spontaneously change size and shape, appear and disappear, etc.
B) It would, from our perspective, be able to 'phase' through solid objects by moving around them in the 4th dimension. Imagine you're a 2D person, and you encounter someone 3D- it'd be able to pull off all kinds of weird movement nonsense (from your perspective) by moving in the 3rd dimension as well as the 2 you can move in. It also might break up into multiple forms that could disappear, re-merge, etc (as you're effectively seeing a cross-section of the entity).
C) Continuing with that, a 4D entity would be able to see ALL parts of 3D objects, including all parts of the inside, simultaneously, and interact with these parts independently of the other parts. It could reach into a person, grab their bones, and remove them, without touching the rest of that person. No 3D containment would hinder it, since it can walk 'around' closed rooms etc. It could also be impossible to harm- even if it failed to phase 'around' anything we threw at it, it could just refrain from putting any important parts of itself into our 3D world, keeping its organs and such out of reach.
D) If theories like Riemann's metric tensors hold, a 4D entity might be able to resist or manipulate fundamental forces like electromagnetism or gravity in the 3rd dimension.

Rampant speculation on Divergent Paths character outcomes edition?

Most of the Outcast and Guild ones look pretty boring, to be honest, but some of the others look cool.

I think the Man's Guild(?) outcome, presumably giving him a free or hireable Guild Guard looks interesting, as long as he ends up outside Guild.

The Trickster learning magic from the Gremlins, or medicine/poison/necromancy from McMourning looks pretty cool too.

I'm intrigued by the Man's plan to sell booze for guns for the Gremlins though.
Would be interesting if he ended up Reckless, or acquired a Gremlin shooter.

Make some non-combat episodes. A lot can be done with spess mareen politics.

The Storm Bolter is quite simply the best weapon in the game, especially when you put special issue ammo in it.

All the vehicles in Rites of Battle are fucked up. Seriously. They defend against pre-errata damage values. The post-errata weapons can barely hurt them. Ideally you want to reduce every vehicle's armor by 7 on the front, and 5 on the sides.

Players love relics. Players REALLY love relics if they're personalized to their chapter or legion. Don't be afraid to make people go seek out lost relics that they can be proud of.

Make them fight Necrons.

Remember, the Deathwatch are independent of everyone - other chapters, other imperial institutions, the Inquisition, etc. The team has a lot of leeway to pick their missions and determine the scale of responses as a result.

Women love it when spess mareens remove their armor. Sensually.

Thanks to the nightmare that is children, I found myself watching the Star Wars prequel trilogy again this past weekend.

While watching, I had the normal reactions. Internal monologues of how the trilogy would have been improved if they downplayed Jar Jar and made him a sith, or if the clone wars had been about clones of jedi rather than some New Zealander.

And it got me thinking - hindsight is 20-20. I've made my fair share of mistakes which, looking back, seem like obvious idiot ball moments.

If you could go back and change something you did in your games, what would it be?

I'll get the ball rolling:
