In a world where you can kill a million rats and move mountains with your bare hands, or read a thousand books and move mountains with your mind, why the fuck would anyone be a shitty farmer dude?
Think of all the time it takes to farm, and it's even more dangerous than IRL because you have goblins and other scary shit running around just waiting to push your shit in. Why wouldn't you just read some books and learn how to conjure food? You could be entirely self-sufficient, never needing to work. You could just live out in the wilderness doing fuck all. And that's if you have the INT to be a magic-user.
If you're too dumb to be a magic-user, you could just go out and kill rabbits and shit or lift weights and work out like a Saiyan until you had the power to take whatever you wanted.
WHY ISN'T EVERYONE DOING THIS???????????
One, XP doesn't work the way you think it does. Two, it's the same reason everyone's not going to Harvard or becoming big business CEOs or making billions of dollars. Not everyone has the potential to be exceptional. Not everyone can be an adventurer.
In a world where you could be a navy seal or an award winning physicist why would you work as a car mechanic?
Because reasons

Where does this potential come from? How do you know whether or not you have the potential to move mountains given enough physical training?

What classes have the best multiclassing synergy? What is your favorite multiclass build?
Fighter + any class that depends on actions.
I'm thinking of a plot involving the "reunion" of a legendary party of adventurers called the Eternal Company. This are some of them:
-Human male, Paladin (Oathbreaker, LG), now a Death Knight. This guy chose his words really poorly when making his bow to a deity and thus made his oath impossible to fulfill. He is doomed to remain unredeemed for all eternity because of this. His personality shifts from stoic to depress at times, but he remains noble and kind-hearted even now.
- Human male, Wizard (Diviner, CN). The former Wizard-King of an ancient magocracy. He was a talented and ambitious researcher of the arcane. So much so that he created an insanely powerful artifact through his forbidden knowledge of the Far Realm. Because of this, his subjects, fearing magical devastation, rebelled against him. Arrogant and prideful, he initially regarded this as treason. After countless wars were waged over the artifact he realized of the gravity of his mistake and exiled himself, becoming an adventurer. He eventually took drastic measures to prevent the artifact from ever falling into the wrong hands and Imprisioned himself into a timeless demiplane, to serve as It's warden for all eternity. While nothing can leave or enter his prison-demiplane, the artifact allow his magic to bend the rules of space and time, manifesting into other planes of existence and even to slightly shape the timeline. He is an intelligent and knowledgeable individual, but the prolonged isolation and the influence of the Far Realm has rendered him increasingly insane. He longs for companionship, new knowledge and the anything that connects him of his former life in a desperate, obsessive way.

The computer can't do anything if it isn't connected to anything.
Form up men, neat and orderly!
Now then, onto the matter at hand. As you are all likely aware, our regiment has taken heavy casualties over the past few campaigns. We've taken so many infact, that command has been unable to keep up with our reinforcement requests.
Because of this, as well as the fact that our once glorious ship, the Eagle's Fury, is now in a decaying orbit, where it will eventually spiral out, and burn up mid atmosphere. Our current objectives are as follows: First, find a source of new recruits. I hear that press hanging is rather effective in the navy. And two, find out what planet we're even on. That sudden evacuation from the ship, was quite the panic, so long range communications is near out of the question. And three. Find somewhere to stay, before we all freeze to death, on this barren ice world.
Now, to keep our minds off the cold. I am calling for a suprise and mandatory, field kit inspection, to assess our current supplies.
So, all hands, present arms and equipment, for a Field Kit Inspection!
>Welcome to ''Field Kit Inspection", home of the 'Unknown Regiment". Feel free to join in! Remember though, we tend to use spoilers for OOC chat, while greentexts for are used for describing a character's actions. D20s are for combat checks and d100s for other things you wish to roll, with higher being better.

I think we can start a fire to keep us warm using some paperwork. We can start off with pension records, since none of us are gonna be needing them anymore.

How do you think Pathfinder can move forward as a ruleset now that Starfinder is in the wild and getting the brunt of the rules improvements?

Homebrew, considering Paizo managed to fuck up Starfinder even when they have a blank slate to start with and didn't even write a setting this time.

As a wizard, can i sign all cards in a deck with exploding runes and use them like gambit from x-man?
Not me necessarily but i want to give my rogue a literal trump card
What do yo use to paint your armor?
Ever have a triggerbitch make demands at your table in regards to content of the game/setting?
>What did they demand?
>Was it justified
>What would this have done to your game/setting?
>Did you tell them to fuck off?
>Did you actually keel to their demands?

Yeah. I was running D&D with some friends and this random guy we picked up from the local game store. He was fine until I decided to take the campaign to a faux-Middle East type area and have the players work with a local emir to find an efreet with knowledge of a special gem that could grant access to the BBEG's personal demi-plane. Motherfucker threw a fit because it turns out he was super hateful of anything from the Middle East, calling people ragheads and other shit. I had none of that shit; second he came out as an easily triggered baby who couldn't keep his mouth shut, I kicked his ass out of my game and my fucking house.
>>54968247
I hate ragheads too. Get shot at by enough of em for 3 years and you would too. It's pretty disheartening.
I wouldn't expect a kid that's never really encountered any hardships in life to understand though
>>54968275
The fictional characters and efreet did not shoot at you. Are you so autstic that you could not separate real life and D&D?

What house rules are YOU using? For things like free batteries, monster skill DCs, ship DCs, envoys, solarians...

And I'm actually considering sitting down and trying to fix these goddamn spacebattle DCs.
Because it's SO CLOSE TO BEING CORRECT.
What are some cool ways to use portable computers? Are there any rules for turrets other than vague references in the computer section?

If bullets don't work, use fire.
If fire doesn't work, use explosives.
If explosives don't work, you clearly haven't been using enough.

How badly could a single Custodian fuck up irl humanity?
He is equipped with the best equipment the Adeptus Custodes has to offer (termie armor + heavy bolter etc.) and drops smack dab into Times Square. He does not stop fighting until everybody is dead. How would he be stopped? I chose a Custodian because they are more effective solo than a Space Marine would be.
For the sake of the scenario, the Custodian will have infinite ammo if he doesn't do well without it.
he gets carpet bombed by a few planes and dies

How reliable are Ork mercenaries? Like if a Rogue Trader has one on his ship how will it interact with others and how well would it follow orders?
An Ork always gets the job done, but it never follows orders.
>How reliable are Ork mercenaries
not very. Why not many like using them
>>54961527
An ork will work for you if you pay him. Ork mercenaries aren't the back stabbin' type.
As for following orders, well an ork'll do the job, but he's gonna do it his way. Especially if he doesn't respect you.

>>54960250
Adventure Zone was pretty good. But it seems like one where either people love it or hate it. The podcast suffers because the first three episodes aren't that good, especially compared to the rest of the podcast, so people will stop listening before it gets good. And I can't blame them.
Cultists fuck up and accidentally summon an eldritch god they have no chance of controlling, but it doesn't want to eat the Earth. What does it want instead?
It wants to eat the very void of space itself. Space is like orange juice to it, and the planets are the pulp.
It doesn't like pulp.
A friend.
It pities the humans and wants to make them more like itself. Since the very concepts like "physics", "logic" and "time" are completely alien to him, what it does to people is...
Weird.
