Why has some kind of War of the Beard equivalent not broken out between Dwarves and Humans? If all it takes is highwaymen and bad diplomacy to start a forever war with the Dwarves then every human nation in Warhammer should be at war with them.

Humans aren't full retard when it comes to diplomacy, they wouldn't shave the ambassadors of a race of notorious pogonophiles just because they were rude when they complained about bandit attacks.
Also, humans aren't pretending to be a united people with zero internal dissent like the High Elves were, if a Dwarf rocked up claiming his caravan had been sacked by humans, they're freely admit that X Elector Count was having a barney with Y Elector Count and it's possible the caravan got caught in the crossfire.
Rather than desperately trying to claiming their people are all 100% united and loyal, certainly no internal strife going on here, no sir, not even banditry.

Has anyone ever had their D&D campaign become awkward due to ERP? About six years me and a few friends started a 3.5 campaign, which we later converted into 5e. It was a real life group and when we began everyone could get together. But slowly things happened. A few people couldn't make it, then we took it online, then sessions got more and more distant.
It eventually became a 1-on-1 campaign, between me and the DM. Slowly, it got more mature, but now we're explicitly involving ERP. My gal has sex every few sessions. Now, the stars have aligned and a few people, through online play, are rejoining. The sexual content has been dialed back but I won't even deny its still awkward; the DM's NPCs are still flirty and still acknowledge what happened, and now other players are getting in on it.

Well, I (A half troll Druid) ended up using spiderclimb to stick to the ceiling while casting Lightning Storm to vapourise 3 Vampires, the racist elven mage was eaten by the vampire Lord, and there was much rejoicing. The Half-orc Barbarian refused to stop eating the clearly doped food (Fucking Con saves are insane) while the Paladin and the Rogue looted the 220 unconscious nobles. We all hated the mage, so nothing of value was lost. So all in all, pretty good.

Okay, I need ideas. Ideas for lifting up curses.The group picked up a sword and an armour from a killed crow knight. The sword dealt necrotic damage and made the user start getting hurt from healing magic and instead getting healed from necrotic damage. Not really good for a cleric. Now I need an idea how to remove the curse and make it a generic, awesome sword.

Bad idea, everything comes with a price. the cleric should have to put aside the power the sword represents to avoid the cost that power brings with it.

Okay so I just came back from GenCon. Something happened during a one-shot pick up game that kinda irked me. I wanted to see where /tg/ stood on it:
I was in a fantasy game (Savage Worlds but that's besides the point). One of the other players selected a pre-gen character that was a humanoid rhino-guy thing. Two attacks were listed on his character sheet: One blatantly superior, one inferior by just looking at the numbers alone.
The superior attack (character had a two-handed maul) did d8 damage and had an "armor piercing" bonus, the inferior attack was a gore with his rhino horn that did only d6 damage and no special bonuses.
Nevertheless, the player chose to exclusively use his gore attack for the entire game. And when we were offered an enchantment in the middle of the game, he wanted his horn to be enchanted instead of the statistically superior weapon (the maul). Whenever his character attack the player would actually whip his head around like a rhino for emphasis as he rolled the dice.
One side of me says, that's cool. That's how he has fun, whatever.
The autistic side of me wanted to slap the shit out of him for blatantly ignoring the numbers. As one can imagine: Since I'm so autistic about optimization, I did the most damage and the most killing during the session since I was familiar with how the rules worked and the best combat options to use at a given moment. He did the least.
So... could you tolerate a player like that in your game? Could you tolerate a player like ME in your game?

Ask if the horn attack can have a bonus stun/knockdown effect, that's what I'd do. Then I'd try experimenting with how your character can work together with his horn thing for teamwork. Maybe less total killing, but with more cinematic results.
I could tolerate both types, really. Neither of you are trying to cut into my share of the loot, so it's all cool.

Need some help /tg/
I've come up with a magic system wherein collective belief in a thing can have effects upon reality. My thought is, once humanity began to progress to the point where they have language, a collective unconscious begins to form and start spawning spirits based on the collective perception and belief.
Thus, any universally human concept becomes personified by a spirit, and the collective 'attention' of the entire race makes it powerful enough to become a deity.
I'm trying to think of what kind of order people might have developed these universal concepts. I think Death would probably be the first one, but what comes after that? Nature maybe? Should that include just beasts or should it include plants and the sun and the seasons?
tl;dr if people invent gods as they're collectively thought of, which gods come about first?
