Killjoy is fun to use if you like deploying trappers near your opponent. You can either kill off one of his guys with the trapper and drop Killjoy into their deployment or let the trapper die and charge in with Killjoy.

How do you guys tend to run Reva? I've had her for a bit, but I've yet to actually try playing her.

Players who ask for it 90% of the time can't handle making their own goals. I tell people "you as a party need to come up with a clear goal and motivation to work towards" and they'll come to me with nothing then complain that they don't know what to do. They literally ask for no direction and can't direct themselves. What is even worse is that these players are often the ones screaming "muh agency" it an outside force in setting ever stops them from doing anything. I've had players throw a fit when guards break up a bar room brawl and try and arrest them. The last time that happened they killed a guard, the guards blew signal whistles for reinforcements and the party died an hour into the campaign because they kept refusing to put their weapons down.

Then they have the gall to complain "I gave them no choice". What the fuck did they expect the guard to do? Say "yes thank you for stabbing Henry".

We have the technology but it's still fairly immature. You can get great results at a terrible price - if you've got a good render that's intelligently laid out, you can get a phenomenal print from Shapeways in Frosted Ultra Detail that's as good or better than most of what you used to be able get in pewter - but it's more expensive than Forge World.

Five years ago I would've told you we'd be able to 3d print miniatures in five years, today I'll tell you that it'll be affordable in five years. It's already almost competitive and the ability to print on demand with no significant overhead in the form of masters or molds is great for small run, super-specific bits like shoulder pads and weapons. It's not there, yet, for entire armies.

The author is a bit of an SJW, but he's not an evangelist so that's alright. He browses /tg/, that's good too. The setting follows the rule of cool really well. Apocalypse World doesn't lend itself well to Roleplaying games, so it's a shame he made the system in that, but it was free and easy for him. I'm glad he dedicates so much time to his setting, great webcomic. 10/10.

I finally caught up today(which I guess means from here on out i'll be faced with agonizing waits and cliffhangers)

so far my opinion is: it's the exalted comic I always wanted, it drags a bit in the beginning and could do a better job of introducing the honestly fantastic lore it has, but other than that I like it so far.

Also seconded on the rpg request, even if I have trouble imagining how you would even set up a game of broken world? Just act like Alison doesn't exist? Replace them with whoever decides to play the fated? Set it in the future/past?

I tend to like the QGD as white and a bunch of sicilians, these days the Najdorf, as black.

I've always been amused by the Larsen-Spassky one where Spassky just runs the H pawn to victory.

I don't have time to look at it in depth right now, but the obvious method to win is to queen the pawn on d7. Can't do that right away because of Nf7+, so Ne5 seems to be the obvious choice for stopping it.
