/tg/ I'm going out east to Montreal for way too goddamn long for my family. What is the most /tg/ approved store that I can play tabletop games in there? I'm not overly familiar with that part of the country so I don't even know if it's more of an independent club kinda community. I figure I only have the space to bring army's worth of models so I would deeply appreciate some info on what the area's beloved games are like. Don't worry I know enough French to not be crucified.
Since nobody will probably be able to answer my question, also feel free to post about your experiences in an LGS. Do you like your LGS? What do you want from one? etc.

I don't know MTL's gaming scene. I've seen some shops that sell nerd-lite stuff like Magic, munchkin, CaH, and Catan, but I wasn't able to track down a genuine RPGs and Wargames LGS.

1. Can Mind/Death Mages produce Goetia or Ghost Essence like Spirit Mages can?
2. With the Channel Essence option for Death/Mind 2, give Spirit essence to a Goetia/Ghost?

Anyone can do an atmospheric dungeon exploration game. Metroid specifically would be a fucking horrible idea to run as a roleplaying game, but something like a squad of players exploring a dark abandoned network of spaces could be done in nearly any system. The key element to it is actually in how well the DM handles *description*.
If you want them to sequence break the dungeons, play D&D.

Listening to classical music with one of my players from the kitchen while I fine-tune random encounter tables. My girlfriend will bring over food in a bit (it's an intentional community, we live in the same building divided by a doorless wall, but it's not an apartment. Not sure what that's called. I'm not familiar with the witcher lore, but I'm not sure there is a way to turn a leshy into a genuinely good person. It's not that leshy is some kind or irredeemable demonic force. He's just an asshole.
He does not eat babies. Instead, he charms people so they get lost in a couple of trees, scatters hay bundles, sleeps with village girls (mostly consensually). A trickster spirit.
At best, leshy turned good would stop his pulling his more deadly pranks, but still would be an asshole.
It's possible to strike a deal with leshy, of course. Hunters offer him bread and drinks to ensure a good hunt, and shepherds left a cow in the woods every spring so leshy would watch over the herd and return lost cattle. And some of the village girls later returned from the woods, carrying treasures. Leshy also loves to play games of chance, so he can be forced to do some labor on a bet. But that's it.
