Poots has outright cancelled Lantern Festival, which, sure okay, if you don't want to release a shit product I'm all for it.

But you can still produce the minis though right? The Wet Nurse for example; currently just a model without any content and probably not going to be in an expansion anyway. So why can't he do that with Screaming Jesus?

Secondly, I'm excited that models that were bought without cards can now have some integration, it'll probably just be standard fare hunts, but hey - gives us less reason to grind baby lions.

Yeah, ambitious decision for a relatively long and difficult game. Like, I don't think I'd get to the point with others to play the expansion itself - but god damn Screaming Jesus would be a nice table/desk piece.

On the news of desk pieces, got Disciple of the Witch 01 for 16 bucks in package, thought that was pretty good.

I'm going to be running a seafaring campaign where there will be lots of opportunities for players to trade commercial goods and luxuries. Eventually the players are going to be acquiring a lot of wealth between trading and adventuring that things like ship maintenance and crew salary aren't going to dent their coin purse. What I'm worried is that they'll end up so obscenely wealthy it breaks the game. How do I fix or is there no fixing it?

Remember to keep necessary expenditures proportional to the kind of loot they're raking in. Money for provisions, munitions, crew wages, port fees, occasional repair and rigging work, all that stuff. If the campaign is going to be all about the cash money, don't handwave the party having to -spend- that money.

If they still just get Too Rich then start setting higher goals for them. Expensive new ships and fittings. Buying out enterprises. Bribing entire port authorities.

I often see threads on /tg/ asking for very light game systems. I also see plenty of anons here that post about their projects and homebrews.

How about we make a thread to collect very short RPGs and encourage people to make more? I myself am more than willing to try my hands at it!

As for submitting systems from your collection or of your own creation, I'd suggest these guidelines:
>If you have games ready to be submitted (either yours or from other people), they are fine if they're about 10 pages or less;

So /tg/ seems pretty knowledgeable about Heinlein. So does anyone know if the Mobile Infantry feature in any of his other novels or short stories? I want to create a low-magic world. Not a world without magic, a world where common magic was a thing of the past. A tale by the campfire. All the knowledge about arcane magic was lost to the ages, and the gods went dormant when their civilization went into decline.

In the world, magic is divided into four categories. Arcane, Divine, Alchemical and Druidic. Alchemy is a new science, and druidic was the only type to survive.

Mechanically, that means the present world will have no magic shops availaible, and scrolls and spellbooks are ten times rarer to find.

Alchemy pretty much took the place for special effects, and can craft items that reproduce spell effects, such as a bag of sleep-enchanted sand.

My hiccup is with divine magic. Its harder to explain how divine magic is just as rare as arcane, as the god's divine gift feels like all or nothing to me. I need a good stop-gap for this plothole. And I need a good way to warn spellcasters on this.
