Question: In my world, there is a stable stormcell, so its just always storming there. How can I benefit from predictable lightning strikes?
>>50283184
You could power your time machine with it.
>>50283184
Reanimate the dead with electricity like that doctor frahkensthein
Produce massive amounts of electricity for the land with a lightning rod while charging a reasonable market rate
Build a giant tower that collects all the lightning strikes into a giant weapon and use it to take over the world
Disprove the fact that lightning never strikes twice and get into the encyclopedia of trivial facts that no one cares about.
And much much more.
>>50283184
Easy, free electricity forever? Build a city around it.
>Tfw your amazing GM feels a need to shove his crappy 'artwork' at you guys when it detracts from, not enhances the immersion.
Okay, you do better.Minimalism is good.
>>50283104
Shut your noise-hole.
>>50283104
>URRRRR MUH IMURSHUN
Shut up. If your immersion is so fragile that it shatters at the drop of a hat, it's your own damn fault.
Posted a thread before about having difficulty regarding my tremors, after taking some of the advice and getting some help from some friends, I got "some" results, what does /tg/ think
I'd say they turned out okay considering the tremors
Do any of your characters wear corsets?
One did, yeah. Dark Heresy blank who tried to dress up pretty to get people to like her but it didn't work.
>>50280845
One of my characters IS a corset!it's an all-raggamoffyn party
>>50280948
Go on, go on.
sup /tg/ I'mma dump some pictures of monstrous guys in suits.
I'm also looking for a specific image fitting that theme if anyone has it; It's a picture of a tiefling/horned guy in suit, I think it was greyscale.

Have you ever played a tabaxi, seen someone play a tabaxi, or used a tabaxi NPC?
What did the tabaxi look like? How catlike was the tabaxi? Do you have any plans to play tabaxi?
>>50281462
If you attack with a magic weapon you aren't attuned to, does it still count as magical for overcoming damage resistance?
>>50281462
We once had someone play a catgirl. He was insufferable.
>>50281525
I'm gonna say yes. The weapon is still magic you just can't use its benefits
Right, you fa/tg/uys had made me curious about this game so, on your behest I downloaded the whole package.
It looks/feels, from what I am reading right now, like a fairly low-fantasy germanic game.
Anyone played it before? What are the pros and cons of this game? It relies on d20, so why would I pick it over any other system (5e, PF, DW, GURPS et cetera)?
> so why would I pick it over any other system
Same reason why you would pick other systems. Because it is suited or at least to be suited for a time of game and setting it tries to emulate.
>>50281093
>or at least tries* to be suited
>>50281093
Then what kind of game and setting is symbaroum better suited than other systems for?
Let's build a Commander deck, one that represents /tg/ as a whole. I'm interested in seeing what kind of players the majority of /tg/ is, so here's a quick poll:
Which MTG Archetype are you?
http://www.strawpoll.me/11673430/
Which Color(s) does /tg/ like best?
http://www.strawpoll.me/11673487/
Any suggestions for our Commander? The Final decision may change based on the results of the poll.
>>50279704
I Say Memnarch. There's a lot of variance in Artifact decks that can span a multitude of strategies. Plus, we get to be a dick by taking control of someone else's Monsters
Monitoring this thread. Here's Urza's pope hat for some reason.
>>50279704
I'd say Maelstrom Wanderer, because he's a right fucking cunt and offers a three colour choices.
Or Sliver Overlords, because Slivers would fit thematically with the whole anonymous image board collaborating on something theme.
Do you guys use any software/websites to visualize your character? I want to have character art for my assassin but normal art is too generic and I can't draw for shit.

Bump so I can look at this later when not on phone.
>We've got your test results back from the lab, anon. It looks like all those potions have given you _____
>>50280124
a raging hardon, please help me nurse
>>50280124
Flancer and EIDS
I actually had this in my setting. Potion over consumption and consuming spoiled potions could give a variety of maladies. Croaker was a common one for transmutation potions. It causes the flesh of the neck to bulge like that of a frog, and the mouth to turn huge. Loss of muscle control in the lower lip causes the mouth to gape open and drool, and the only language the creature can manage is guttural croaks.
How do you include an entity like pic related in your setting without blatantly ripping off the source material?
Explain what this outsider is.
>>50278322
Since he isn't original either?
Can't really do it. Gods speaking to mortals has been a thing for millenia. Giving them abilities and powers has been a thing since AT LEAST mesopotamia since they had their own version of Noah who was made immortal by their own gods because he saved his kin and he was fully aware of it.
Epic of Gilgamesh etc.
>>50278331
Bored god who gives you powers because lolentertaining.
Hi /tg/
I'm starting a game of this soon and I'll be playing a wizard. Only things left to me is to pick the spells. However I don't know which school to pick, they all look so interesting.
Main problem is that destruction and creation both look nice, but are opposed. I'm kinda thinking about going for destruction and buying the shield in the light school since it only costs 2, and invest the rest in the essence path so I can eventually be able to heal my party.

General Anima BF thread?
What's the easiest way to get a group to look at Anima and get into it?
>>50280446
anime
>>50280595
Better question. How to find a group that is into anime? Weebs don't normally talk about it outside.
>Designing Legendary Creatures for Orzhov a giant churchbank run by debt collectors and accountant-priests
Everyone needs to make ghosts or already BE ghosts and have their abilities reflect that fact. Ghosts are clearly the most important aspect of this organization.
>Designing Legendary Creature that's basically just a corrupt politician
Let's make him a tax man!
>inb4 Ulrich and Ludevic
Yeah, nobody's happy about them, but they've been talked to death.
>>50277862
>Other Theros Gods
Paragons of their domains, encompassing many aspects of their portfolios of worship.
>Pharika, goddess of the twinned healing and harming aspects of nature.
"lol i maek snek"
>>50277862
Kambal isn't part of the Orzhov guild, he just happens to be B/W
>>50277918
Snakes are closely associated with Hermes, who was a god of medicine among other things. Snakes can also be used for their poisons as well as for antidotes. They're also used in medicines in some cultures.
>Hey GM, I know Delta Green is based off the Cthulhu mythos, but I've got a great idea! Delta Green but with SCPs!
>>50277689
That doesn't sound bad.
>>50277689
>Yeah well, I didn't think he'd actually kill my character for that. Can I have a do-over?
>>50277733
Have you actually read anything from the SCP wiki? They're not meant to be interacted with outside of a creepy story context, and even then they're pretty lame.
Can someone redpill me about Lamentations of the Flame Princess? I hear the dude behind it is a colossal dick with a history of dodgy shenanigans, but the system itself is supposedly okayish. Any experiences?
>>50277658
>Can someone redpill me
Fuck off.
>>50277658
It's an alright OSR system, very solid and functional. I'd download the free no-art version, because the artwork is notoriously edgy. Raggi is a cunt, yes, but he's a cunt that makes a good product.
>>50277683
Charming.
>>50277691
As it happens, i have that version. I've read the system and it does seem pretty solid, if a bit stripped to the bone. I've also read a couple of modules, but I get the impression that all of them eventually devolve into Tomb of Horrors TPK-grade stuff. I get that this is supposed to be OSR, but still. Also, I know Raggi is supposedly a huge cunt, but I have no idea why (except for this penchant for writing adventures that screw the players over).
