what would a galactic confederacy do? my idea is that planetary systems and even individual planets would have their own laws and government. The Confederacy is a lose body that stands in contrast to the typical "alliance" It basically enforces that other planets don't violate muh NAP even though some planets are very backwards.

what should be the situations in which they intervene?

I had a fantasy dream last night, /tg/, and it raised two questions that generally would require two different threads, but let's merge it in a single one.

In my dream, I was cornered into a small bodega/storage by a group of ravaging orks, and was able to make a concoction (whether it was a potion or some kind of explosive, I don't know) using a shot of glass, pouring some liquids into it - some found in the bodega, some from my robes - and heating the bottom of it with a match while gently stirring it in the air with the other hand.

So, I was wondering two things:

Hey /tg/ i am currently looking for a game that best represents the Imperial Guard experience( a game in which you play as a random grunt and not some sort of hero character or some messiah of some sort) and i was wondering if you guys could offer me some sort of PC game which could help me live out my fantasy as a random redshirt that is meant to perish against all odds.

Can /tg/ help me with suggestions what PC game best encompasses the spirit of the Imperial Guard(Astra Milisomething)?

Hey /tg/, how about a game of Risk?

It's been a while since I've run a game, so we'll be using a more classic ruleset than you guys might be used to.

>Each army gets 1 move per round
>The first valid move posted in each round will be used
>No control bonuses
>Territory gains will be halved when capturing another army's territories
>The first posts choose team names, colors, and starting states. Each team starts with 5 territories. Once all colors are assigned, the game begins
>Once an army is eliminated, it can't be replaced or resurrected
>The game goes until only one army remains
