Eh, I treat them and demons more like people with a personality trait that lends itself to being either beneficent or maleficent, then go from there. Angels can be very bitter, angry beings, and demons can be helpful and kind but ultimately selfishly motivated.

Just to start us off: What's your absolute favourite DFC ship so far? It can be for looks, rules, concept, whatever.
For me it's Taipeis, because of how fun they are to use. They're just a gang of little assholes that can sneak around being annoying to kill before activating twice out of nowhere and sending 24-44 shots towards an important ship. A pathfinder BG with 4 Taipeis and 2 Nawlins is probably going to find its way into quite a few of my lists.

anyone have any neat ideas for a simple D&D 3.5e campagin?
like, 4 players, starting level 3 basic shit kind of campaign?

I've never actually GMed...
PCs are building out of the vanilla PHB, gimmick builds will be punished.
I have physical copies of the Dungeon Masters Guide 1 and 2, Monster Manual 1 and 2, Players Hand Book, Heroes of Horror, and the Book of Vile Darkness. I want to limit this campaign to those books for the sake of not having to look everything up constantly.
I have one experienced player.

My sympathy, anon, because it means your players are going to be all over the place in terms of what they can handle.
Honestly, if this is your first game, and it is the players first game, set up a basic dungeon, rather than trying to knock out an entire campaign idea.
Learn about how the game works in practice when you are behind the screen before you get ambitious, it leads to tears.
Further, you are trying to use HoH and VoD, both of whom are packed full of extra mechanics most players never have used before (go ahead, deal them Vile damage, watch them freak out). You, the DM, are under no compunction to limit yourself, and you honestly should not, especially when you are using books that exceedingly outlier.

Or maybe play E6 than at least characters other than full-casters will have a chance to stay relevant through all the game. Core is a bad thing to use if you want to play higher than level 6.
1-2) That's more or less okay. Though if the necromancer is in the other county it means he has support of the duke's neighbour and killing him or stealing from him will lead to a diplomatic incident. Which may be interesting but will take some work on DM part.
3) Bullshit. Ranger + Cleric or Druid can deal with most supply problems easily. And any party that doesn't know it in DnD world is dead meat.
4) The aforementioned diplomatic problems - necromancer actually was supported by local lord and now he wants player characters dead. Like really dead. And sends a knight spear after them with added sorcerer.

How? How does Wizards continue to fuck up perfectly good planes so consistently? Tarkir loses the clans which were some of the most unique groups that we've seen in a while; Zendikar loses most, if not all, of its jungles and what made it the "adventure" plane; and Innistrad loses its central church and identifying trait as the gothic horror plane.
Why? Why is Wizards so intent on ruining the best aspects of its planes?

More specifically, a world eating, extraplanar being turning everyone with less than an iron will into extensions of herself and basically causing the plane to tear itself apart. She eventually gets tired of it, and seals herself in the plane's moon to be used as a plot point in the future and literally no other reason.

Hello, /tg/. I need your help and opinion in matter of my SW project.
You see, I plan to create quest (in similar fashion to those 4chan ones, just much less messy and in better organized place.
I want to create quest about alternative version of history based on alternative KOTOR 2 ending - Keira partial victory. Long story short, Exile is forced to stop the machine within the Malachor V and in combination of both explosion and her unique traits, Keira manages to damage the Force itself. In a following years many of Force sensitive go insane, dies or are forced to cut their ties to the Force.
The game itself would start during the Galactic War, where voters would create their characters as young Force sensitive, either padawan, sith adept or no member of any order.
I want to use old SW d20 system. Do you think it will be good one or there is better? Any comments? Mechanics tips?

I've personally had good experiences with the Saga edition (d20), mostly just watch out for the abuse of autofire and grenades; and make sure you encourage creative use of force powers by sprinkling interactive shit around. Besides that, try to know most of the rules and leveling system off the back of your hand like most other systems; good luck anon

How can a Lawful Good society exist? It doesn't make any sense. Everyone would starve whilst trying to feed those less fortunate than themselves and even if they somehow made it through that there would be absolutely no social mobility as people would live long lives and those below them couldnt do a thing to get rid of them!
Even if such a society could somehow exist there would be no motivation for advancement or innovation, since you would first have to prove your idea is safe and helpful! They also wouldn't be able to steal good ideas or resources from others meaning they would be stuck with substandard infrastructure and resources.
I think its fairly clear that fantasy fiction and games depicting surface races like humans as having lawful good societies are simply unrealistic and nonsensical.

As with almost any society not magically maintained or populated by monsters with monster logic, the majority of its people are neutral and just trying to live their lives. They may espouse one or two of their society's ideals that appeal to them personally, but not all of them and not all the time.

The whole idea of an entire society conforming to one moral alignment is inherently flawed because it forgets that the citizens are individual people with individual thoughts and beliefs. There is no way to make an entire population be of one moral persuasion because people have the ability to think for themselves. Ergo, any given society is a mix of all alignments.
