Hey /tg/, I'm running a modern horror game and I need pictures of scientists and cool dark-looking villains in labcoats.

what is the most op card in standard right now?
now that coco and siege rhino are gone what took there place
They've been out of standard for what? A year?
I think MTG is having a slow period. There are way less threads about it now then there were a year or so ago. Nothing so memetic has happens since KTK I guess.

There are a lot of powerful cards, but I don't think anything is outright broken
Probably the closest is the smug copter

How often does your kitsune spend time in fox form? Are they as cute and fluffy-tailed as foxes as they are as foxgirls/foxboys?

Oh you bastard. We had 3 good OPs in a row, now look what you've done.
/pfg/ does anybody have a level 10 unchained summoner build on hand with a skill eidolon? I need one for the game I'm running tonight and won't be able to put it together properly myself.

Looking at investing in the IG (astra what?) for the first time. Post your dudes, your conversions, your company's fluff. I'm looking for inspiration.

i love ig in dow winter assault.
they are so fucking op it makes me weep for the lesser armies.
Requested this pic in a drawthread a couple of weeks ago.
My regiments' homeworld is Harlech (Unashamed about naming it that), and they tend to have the higher end of the gear spectrum. They are well disciplined, and it is rather common place to join the fortress world's PDF. Companies compete to be in newly formed Imperial Guard Regiments, ensuring that the best are used to pay the tithe.
Officers are from noble families, and it is quite difficult for a commoner to be promoted up. It is because of the population disparity that, when it comes to Infantry and Mechanized Infantry regiments, there are often five normal squads, three Special Weapons Squads, and a Mortar Squad are led by a single Lieutenant, making even such a low ranking officer rather distant from the rank and file (It gets hard rather fast to get to know so many people). So, Platoon Leaders often rely on Sergeants to know how best to use the common troopers.
The image here is of the Harlech Dragoons, who are the elite infantry of a Regiment, often forming their own company and seconded off to the others on an as-needed basis. Their armor is far more ornate, and reminiscent of the legendary knight Calvary from Pre-Imperial days. Though they no longer ride mounts, they are generally seen as successors to the heroes of old.
Though quite competent, Harlech Regiments are known to be quite prideful. They generally hold less-formal regiments (Such as the Catachans) with contempt. Even when paired up with regiments from Cadia or Mordian, the troopers tend to go off on their own to prove that they don't need assistance with an objective. This has bit them in the ass on multiple occasions.
Anyways, I actually like some input on this idea. I tried making them a well disciplined and competent force that is far too prideful for its own good. Any improvements I should make?
If you just want the IG portion it comes out to 1200 points I based my Scion army of this list
Although I dont play the game looks baller as fuck though
You are allowed to go back in time and leave one core rulebook among the ancient people's of the world and all games, religion, artwork, and history will spin off from that one rulebook.

Why do GW still keep comments disabled? Warhammer TV is nothing but in-jokes and comedy ads as of late, do they really care about what people will say? Have they not seen the like/dislike ratios on their videos?
>>50435979
Have you read youtube comments? It's worse than /pol/. If I was a business owner, I would be hard pressed to not disable comments on all my videos, especially if I wanted to attract new players.
At least on facebook some of the anonymity is gone and it's easier to ban and delete comments. I am not talking about comments that simply disagree or offer counter arguments, I am talking about the really shitty dumb comments that offer nothing but shock value and meant to troll.
good god I would fuck duncan
>>50435979
Because then the autists would ruin every comment section with rules inquiries, bitching about OP TAU/ELDAR WHAT THE HELL GUIS, and general shit posting.
Because this hobby attracts the worst kind of fucking people.
Including you.
ESPECIALLY you.
I have a group full of spaz people
>"while you are standing there in middle of the room, a man carrying a pistol enters it and..."
>wait, who entered?
>what kind of of pistol is he carrying?
>I roll stealth to sneak behind him unnoticed and disarm him on the way
>GM, can you remind me where we are?
>Hey, did anybody play that new indie game that nobody heard of?
>I passed my stealth roll, gm
>How much xp do we get for this session?
>Wait guys, what's happening?
>>50432700
>"an arrow strikes down the foe, leaving you..."
>i dont get this plot at all
>i roll awareness to see the archer
>wait, whats happening? should i also roll?
>Remember that game of thrones episode where...
>gm, i passed my roll
>we could kill him and some arrow does no probs, fuck gm fiat
>Social encounter going south
>Players discussing a deal, serious roleplaying dialogues

>"Can i roll logic to "logic my way out" of this situation?"
>>50432700
>"as you're standing there, one of the town guards approaches you and asks you to..."
>I draw my blades!
>I roll a stealth check to hide in the crowd
>Wait, am I there? I cast charm person on the guard
>I rolled a crit on my attack roll
>Can I buy a potion from one of the vendors before this happens?
The guard literally just wanted to ask them to make way for a wagon of festival supplies
In games where one can usually choose from a plethora of weapons both melee and ranged what is the key of making unarmed fighting relevant? Since the two clash in the sense that other weapons are supposed to improve the player's abilities beyond just punching things. However on the other hand (pun not intended) if unarmed fighting is just as good or potentially even better than fighting with weapons that renders the other weapons useless and the whole idea of getting better weapons becomes a moot point.
>>50432419
Well, either we´re going full magic setting, or you´re playing a character that doesn´t do anything else than training 24/7, Shaolin Monk style.
Still, you really need weapons when it´s about killing other creatures. We´re just not made for fighting with our bodies.
Alternatively, go full dwarf fortress. Shame that I lost the next screencap where I killed the crocodile, then used its corpse to crush another crocodile´s head.
Let´s see if I´ve got some better example...
>>50432542
For example.
That fucking bronze colossus completely crushed a 20-30 men party, most of them veteran soldiers. Except for that cheese maker, who decided to tag along and met an untimely fate.
>>50432419
When has unarmed fighting been relevant IRL?
1) When the situation isn't serious enough to escalate to weapons.
2) When an authority that you fear to disobey has forbidden you the use of weapons.
3) When you can't get to your weapons, maybe because you've been surprised without them.
4) When the image you want to project is not consistent with carrying weapons, but you still need to fight people.
5) Sport.
To expect the unarmed fighter be as a effective in a straight-up fight as the armed fighter is retarded. There'd be no need for weapons, like you said. But there's plenty of room in tabletop games for retarded but fun ideas.

No, but only because I've got pretty much everything already.
Is the storyteller Street Fighter game any good?
>>50397510
It's got surprisingly good combat for a White Wolf game, maybe the best combat out of all of them.
Anyone playing Geheimnisnacht around here?
What are your opinions on it? I think it's prettyfun.

Bless you.

Wha, WHFB CK2?
Oh man that looks on fleek
>>50442796
It's still pretty rough and unbalanced but quite fun. Especially playing as one of the electors and fighting back Vlad's invasion, as the game starts in 2010. Or playing as Ushoran and trying to take back Strygos without Orcs raping your face
What is doomguy's powerlevel in the Warhammer 40k universe?
>>50441351
I don't imagine doomguy would have much of a powerlevel. Does he even watch anime?
>>50442207
I don't know. What kinds of anime do you think doomguy would watch? He has a rabbit, so he could enjoy moeshit, but on the other hand he handles blood and ripping demon spines out way too well for a moeshitter.
>>50442376
Dunno. He probably reads Goblin Slayer tho.

Since they're fun
i need help with a puzzle.
i need to use this array of information:
18,lime green, kinda
12,yellow,maybe
90,blue,not really
56,purple,almost
72,pink,never
115,orange,near
(number is described as vital sights, the color is blood type and the last for is under organs)
to find the order these phrases go in.
i am also not certain that the array is actually relevant, but i think it is.
pic not related
>>50439005
aaaand i forgot to ad the phrases. here they are
"the man who almost won"
"this food is kinda terrible!"
"maybe we’re all dead?"
"am i happy? not really"
"never had i been so sad"
>>50439031
also, there is this passage witch is probobly a hint:
legends fortell of a horrific tale of knowledge. a wall against the spectres that surrounded the land. a story that follows numbers and colors in the order i visited them. by stepping and reading these tales in the orders and colors you once visited, the exit will be revealed. but, if one did not take proper heed to the words placed before min a most gruesome death awaited the fool who dared pass the walls that surrounded him. vague pages and computers that held the data that he did not read, such was his downfall and within he owed death an eternal debt. maybe you, valued reader can take heed of this mans tale, and correctly recap the order you visited the colors and numbers... maybe...
>>50439031
and a sixth one "the exit is near"
What do you think of them /tg/? My DM just did that and now it's got me fucked up. I went from Lawful Evil to Chaotic Good because of a case of Holy magic exposure to my Warlock who got ressurected by extremely powerful holy magic three times but I really don't want to be good, or chaotic. General That DM thread too I suppose.
That happened to me once, my LG paladin went to LE for similar reasons. Just play your previous alignment for different reasons (IE, doing questionable shit for a nebulous "greater good" that ends up benefiting you more often than anyone else instead of outright looking out for number one). Alternatively, you could always talk to them about your issues and see if you can reach a consensus here.
>>50438529
I only use them if a player has made long term changes to how they act, or exceptional circumstances come up.
That said, I tell my players up front about it. In your case, the GM should have told you what the deal was, and you shouldn't have made such a massive leap all at once.
Even then, why LE to CG? Why did your lawful, rule abiding tendencies disappear?
>>50438771
I genuinely just think he did it as the most obvious complete opposite.
So I've been running a campaign for the past few years set in pre-eurpoean fantasy. (We're using pathfinder.) I feel like sharing some of the concept art I've gathered over the past decade and probably some blurbs about the game as I go. Feel free to contribute your own thematic art or ask questions!
Instead of making a lot of homebrew, I just reskinned races. Dwarves turned into dog soldiers - gnolls.
I was looking for a slightly Ice Age time frame - which makes no sense, but hey, Canada = Ice, and the PC's can ride around on woolly mammoths.
Or Druids that can choose among megafauna like this guy.
