Were Warriors of Chaos ever soundly BTFO? They are shilled just like Space Marines in 40k I fucking hate mary sue factions. Which characters are best WoC removers?

>Were Warriors of Chaos ever soundly BTFO?
Sure, as the anti-status quo faction they usually lost until it was decided the status quo needed to change.
>>50466305
>They are shilled just like Space Marines in 40k
Come back when Chaos gets their own video games, whole book series dedicated to them from their point of view, a statue in front of GW HQ, and an official statement saying that they're the protags of 40K.
Then that statement might hold a little more weight.
Serreta the Imperishable did it once.
Grimgor Ironhide too.
IIRC, the High Elf Queen could literally cleanse Chaos Corruption.
Everyone gets their shit pushed in by the Wood Elf Queen as well.
I am running a mutants and masterminds game set in the DC Universe.
I am trying to create a Kryptonian villain. Essentially something along the lines of a Super Kryptonian.
Something that is biologically or for some other reason superior to the base Kryptonian form. That doesn't have its normal weaknesses and has a great deal more strength and power than a Kryptonian would normally have.
Is there any presidents or ideas you can brainstorm to create such a creature. The closest I can think of is Bizarro.
Help me come up with a reason and a series of powers that you might think a super Kryptonian would have.
given that normal kryptonians can break reality with a punch (seriously that happened) you may want to re-think your choice of villain
Look up Superboy Prime
>>50466058
Brainiac combines the pieces of DNA from Superman, Supergirl, Superboy, etc and created a new biological form for himself.
Give him all the powers of Superman, I mean ALL of them. Plus the shit Brainaic can do.
But, this SuperBrainac would be damn near impossible to beat.
Why do you want to have your players go against something like this?
Aside from Kislev what provinces get shit on the most?
>>50465981
Stirland
>>50465981
Wissenland. They are a huge province, the Empire's border to the Border Princes and Badlands yet we never hear about them in the fluff and their colors are shit.
>>50465981
Kislev is not a province.
A couple guys play it at my LCG and i want to get into Magic with this format. I lurked around to find some deck ideas and i decided to settle for Vehicles, how does this deck look?

Why don't you start a proper pauper general thread with a relevant mtg opener image? That might actually draw people attention

I don't have the OP from previous threads if there were any, i didn't even know there was a pauper general to be honest

>Imperium of Man
>Eldar
>Necrons
All at the height of their power.
Who has the most advanced technology? Why?
Alternatively: rank themHard mode: make a case for why Tau are actually the most advanced
>>50465171
It was Crons > Eldar > Men. At both of their heights, the Eldar didn't even notice Humans. They were just another thing that existed on the fringe of their Empire than their robot/whatever armies sometimes crushed utterly. Necrons used to just have everything. If it could be done in realspace, they had something that could do it.
Right now, I think it's the DE that have the most advanced tech. They just don't have the psychic power necessary to actually use it, however.

Mine for the game I've been running.
>Magic out in space functions only barely with a -15 CL penalty.

Starting after 3rd lvl, you must multi-class out of your base casting class every third level, or take a PrC which doesn't advance the casting more than two levels in a row.
Guns are martial weapons.
>Weeaboo Fightan Magic Game.
Gestalt, one side of the two must be a full, base martial adept. No Leadership.

>Samurai Fix
It's a pretty tall order without a significant overhaul, especially considering that it treats giving you TWF feats several BAB later than you should pick it up as Class Features.
You'd be better served by using PHB2's Knight class.
That said
>Daisho Training remains as it was.
>Move Two Swords as One to 1st, Improved at 6th, Greater at 11th and Superior for an extra at 16th levels.
Kiai Smite moved to 2nd level, +1 use of it per day at 5th level and every 3 levels after (8, 11, 14, 17, 20). Instead of a single attack, each use selects a single enemy and grants Charisma modifier to hit and damage against them for all attacks made until either a different target is selected (using another per day) or the first target is slain.
Improved Initiative at 3rd level.
Staredown at 4th level, adding 1/2 your Samurai Class Level to Intimidate checks.
Keep Iaijutsu Master at 5th. Improve it at 10th and 15th level by allowing it to be used with 1 other exotic (preferably eastern) weapon each time.
Mass Staredown at 7th level: As norma Staredown, but with 1/4th level added to the check in return for being able to affect all enemy targets within 30ft radius of yourself.
Lordship: At 9th level a Samurai is granted the Leadership feat. Their Cohort may be of any non-magical class, but their followers will all be NPC classes, usually either Experts or Warriors at their call. They may be called upon to serve, but are usually expected to be guarding the Samurai's titled lands and or holdings (Using Profession checks to generate income on their leader's behalf, and adding the Samurai's level to the skill check if they do so, and yielding their full skill check in GP rather than 1/2 as normal for a Profession skill check.)
>>50465454
Way of the Warrior: Starting at 10th level, and every three levels after, a Samurai may select one Martial Stance from the Tome of Battle to learn and use in battle, using their Samurai level as their effective Initiator level to determine which stances are available and any IL dependent effects.
At 12th level, Greater Mass Staredown. AOE uses of Staredown now gain 1/2 Samurai level as a bonus to the Intimidate check, and may affect foes out to 60ft. If an enemy within 20ft of the Samurai using this ability is immune to fear, that immunity is suppressed for 1d4 rounds upon a successful check.
One who Serves. At 13th level, so long as the Samurai is acting on behalf of a lord who they have sworn fealty to, or acting upon an oath to which their honor is beholden, they add their Charisma Modifier to their saving throws, and half that value as an Axiomatic bonus to their AC so long as they are armed and not helpless.
Paragon of Discipline: The Samurai's resolve has sharpened his senses and perceptions just as his sword must be maintained: At 17th level a Samurai may add his Charisma modifier on all Wisdom based skills. Additionally, when dealing with fellow warriors, warlords, soldiers and sovereigns of any sort, they may add their Base Attack Bonus to Diplomacy, Gather Information, Intimidate and Sense Motive checks.
>The bbeg has somehow turned himself and his into army into robots via what might as well be robomagic. Including the brains.

Hi /tg/
A friend recently got me a set of Gal Verbal for my birthday, though I don't play Word Bearers or 30k.
Any ideas what I could do to convert them to be included as something in a Night Lords army, Spawn, large Possessed, Obliterators or anything else?
Thanks in advance
>>50462278
Large Possessed, that's all they are in 30k for WBs anyways. If you don't run possessed, then obliterators or mutilators.
Wulfens
>>50462278
They are pretty much Possessed in 30k, fielding them in 40k as anything else will only lead to confusion. And you can't go wrong with that because Gal Vorbak look like the Possessed should, while Possessed themselves...
I've been thinking, why aren't superhero ttrpgs more popular? Superhero movies have been huge for the past ten years and most nerds I know enjoy or at least watch them, but none of them play M&M or whatever. You could argue argue that the table-top market is it's thing and doesn't experience much influence from the popular culture, but as far as I know when cyberpunk hit it big there was a glut (considering that publishing a game was srs bsns) of cyberpunk rpgs some of which like Shadowrun and Cyberpunk 2013 became pretty popular.
>>50461947
That's a really good point.
>>50461947
comics-tier super powers make for poor storytelling

>wtf is kingdom death
A game by a company of the same name, released a few years ago. It has 12 expansions, and the core game is getting a reprint. It is on kickstarter now. https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/poots/kingdom-death-monster-15/description
>how does shipping work
Game will ship out in waves, starting in 2017, and ending in 2020. Each wave will have its own pledge manager, and you will pay shipping for it once they are ready to ship that wave.
>how do addons work
Just increase the amount you are pledging by the cost of the add on. For example, if you are backing at the $50 level, and would like the First Hero expansion ($35), you would leave your pledge LEVEL the same, but change the pledge AMOUNT to $85.
>do I need both the core game and the update pack?
The Kickstarter is to fund a new edition of the game. If you get the game through the Kickstarter, it will have the update pack already included. If you already own the core game, you need to by the update pack to make everything compatible.
>do I need the update pack to use new expansions?
We don't know yet, but that may be the case. Other way, there are no levels you can back at that don't include either the update pack, or the updated core game, so any base pledge you get will be compatible with the new expansions either way.
