In all fairness, Werewolf is good for one session, then it's just tiresome.
I'd personally bust out Superfight(for large groups) or Dungeon Fighter. Maybe Smash Up, Betrayal at the House on the Hill, or Sentinels of the Multiverse, if I think I can get people more into my world.

What are good ways to give players agency in a setting of cosmic sized structures and massive infrastructure short of giving them civilizations or gods to toss around? I'm trying to figure out ways to take a setting based around an old and thoroughly developed galaxy with insignificant but not impotent posthumans lost within it, as a way to enjoy my current infatuation with mega engineering and high-tier civilizations.

Depends on whether or not we're going with last thing he boned that he remembered, or that he thinks he might've boned, but was too high/drunk/insane at the time to remember.
If the former, probably a mimic door.
If the latter, there might've been an encounter with a drider, a gnomish ghoul, and an aboleth at the same time.

He never regrets anything. Not even smoking opium instead of warning his smoking partners that the Rogue might've been a werewolf, on a full moon. That led to about fifteen deaths immediately, and later on to reports of a band of Gypsy Werewolf bandits roaming the desert.

Most of his stuff is one-night stands or one-week orgies, longest relationship he ever had was an occasionally-gay bromance with a fellow patrician in Pompeii that lasted about a decade.

I'm gonna default to D&D 5E, because OP didn't specify and it's the only one I enjoy with warlocks and a distinct difference between demons and devils. If he was thinking something else that's his own problem.
I'd go with a Kyton, OP. They're jailers and torturers in Minauros, and if they're powerful enough to manage it have a lot of stock in having mortal assistants who can ferry a few souls down for them in exchange for power.
Plus then you could have your powers manifest with edgy chain bullshit and use the Mask of Many Faces invocation to mimic their face-changing powers.

>What is Fading Embers?
A /tg/ homebrew wargame setting that started out as another "Let's make a collaborative setting," but quickly became awesome once a surprising amount of lore was generated. Oh, and you can also field an army of MOTHERFUCKING BEARS.
We currently use the Advanced Songs of Blades and Heroes system, and have a WIP roster.

We're also planning on gathering a collection of 3d models so the game can actually be played in Tabletop Simulator and it's more free counterpart, BattleBox3d.
>Thread Goal
Alright, it's crunch time. By the end of this thread I hope to have the main issues of debate in this setting resolved, and We'll finally have a wiki page/Setting Document up and running. Here are the current issues:
-Are Dwarves Slug-blooded or do they merely breed slugs? If no consensus is reached I'm going to go with the latter, as it makes more sense. Slugs would be bred to feed off of dead skin from the giants, and also act as a sort of Sun protectant for Giants and Dwarves.
-Main colors of each faction.
-Exact nature and details of the Restavia Remnant. We may be focusing on this a tad more than we should, but that's alright, it's still extremely interesting. If no consensus is reached, I'm going to go with the WWI inspired themes, mixed with the Renaissance motif, and the !Atlantis lore along with the side-rivalry with Berustia.(Just my two cents, but Berustia should have tamed sea monsters)
-Possible NameChange for Berustia, as it's similar to Restavia. I'm saying Berustia gets the change because Restavian Remnant rolls off the tongue quite nicely.

Hey /tg/,
I recently finished Ubel Blatt and wondered what system would be able to transcript the feeling of this world.
For those of you that don't know anything about it, I'm basically searching for a swordsman-focused system (or any weapon really), something where moves and techniques are the most important part of the fight, with big duels and differences between fighting style and schools.
The setting doesn't matter much, it's something that can be tweaked easily. Mechanics are what interests me.

I'm sure guardsmen who get injured are discharged. It's just that the Imperium will not give them a ticket to travel back to their homeplanet, so they'll need to find a job in the planet they're currently assigned in. That's probably why so many imperial plantes have cadian uniforms ; So many cadians who integrated the local military after their tour of duty.

the reason so many planets have cadian uniforms is fluffwise because its all produced by 'template' GW-wise because they basicaly just have cadian models as basic IG with some novelty lines here and there to represent 'variety'
but since the whole gallaxy is plagued by constant war and all that grimdark, and since the IG numbers untold billions, cadians are just a drop in the sea, in fact most combatants, most as in theres trillions of them at any given moment far outnumbering even the whole IG, are usualy local men, women, and children, and you can bet they dont all have cadian uniforms, in fact most IG regiments probably only get standard lasgun, and if theire lucky theres a supply of helmets and some flack armor
in other words cadians represent generic IG, the original idea was that players would improvise on that, and make each his own variation using kits and stuff
in fact it would be interesting to see what the fluff has to say about all the untold multitudes of humans fighting and dying that arent IG, guess they are supposedly covered by 'chaos militia' and things like inquisition followers
like imagine a world where a dosen factions are going trough total war with each other across the entire planet, but they are all loyal to the empire and are all dying screaming 'for the emperor' as they charge each other, and theyre all convinced the god-emperor is on their side, and the planet isnt that important any way so no one realy bothers to send any IG there, in fact those who even bother to notice the situation consider it a good thing since itl breed good fighters one day
