We have a proposal for you from one of our Western Villages where currently there is a mining operation to procure various metals used for various magic item creation. However, our scholars and diviners predict that the mine will be completely tapped within 15 years time at the current rate of production.

That said, we are proposing an idea to turn the mine into a lake and set up solar panels on it afterwards. The Solar panels will supply electricity to Domestically raised Lightning Elementals who are trained to take in and release electricity at a predictable rate over several generations of rearing.

Not only will this speed up the infrastructure upgrades slated for that region but will provide indepth field testing of our Electrical Grid which we hope to have fully interconnected with the Capital soon.

Ball Of Arms man is a hole to the elemental plane of arms, and that is a subsection of the Elemental Plane of meat, so there are elemental planes for everything, all subsections of air/earth/fire/water.

I am going to samurai jack my players into grim darkness where darkness has won and they will have to do something with it. I want to have as much shock value as possible, so give me those one-liners.

We made some awesome faction and races in the past.


The idea now is to make a culture based on real world of humans.

The particular thing is that they live on an arcipelago of floating isles.

The islands are made of mangrovies that take nutrients from plancton and microorganism in the roots releases gases that make this living island bayonant. Islands are in the ocean.

So we start by answering questions:
What do they eat?
How do they procure said food?
How much floating land per person is needed.

How would one go about accurately statting and equipping a Venenum Assassin for use in Dark Heresy. Any suggestions?

I understand the 3.5/Pathfinder hate. I really do. If you're a hardcore roleplayer who doesn't want to by limited by anything but you and your playgroup's imagination, that edition isn't for you. Pathfinder is heavy with mechanics. Everything has a mechanic. If it is an action or state of your character, there's a dice roll or a chart that compliments it. Sure, it's all optional, but the fact that it exists will probably make your players whine about how you're not sticking to the rulebooks.

But what if your players are already airshitting pedantic smartasses? What if your playgroup consists of a couple of smug dudes who always shoot back with a "Well ackshully, that wouldn't work because..."

That's why I use 3.5/Pathfinder. There's a mechanic. Fuck you, Todd, you self-rightious prick. I'm trying to DM don't give me some half-baked argument about the density of water just so everyone at the table can see how smart you are. Here's the chart. Here's the book.

The mistake: Thri-Kreen Weapon Master *should* give +2/+3/+4 to damage with Gythka and Chatchka attacks.

What it *does* is give +4/+6/+8 to Gythka Weapon attacks, and +0 to Gythka Implement attacks and +0 to all Chatchka attacks.

Hi /tg/, currently trying to make more possible hook for my player in a Dungeon Punk world in the Eberron-esque world.

Been thinking to use Lich King trying to create some kind of golem energized by dragonshards to start a revolution industry since magitek mostly owned by the elites.

I kind of want to make the lich king view is chaotic good but supported by lawful evil underlings. Lich King's view will be based on Keynes' essay of "Economics Possibilities for our Grandchildren".

What kind of encounters or small adv hooks that I can use to make this campaign more gritty? I am DM-ing a rogue who got thrown into the future accidentally.

Hey everyone,
I am soon starting to dm some one-hot-adventures as interlude between our other log-term adventures we have going on. I have a setting in the works where I want to let all my one-shots take place so that I can build up a more established and lived in universe. I have planned to do some kind of a session 0 for all my friends where we discuss what type of game they are interested in and start to make their characters. I have not dm'ed much so far, only a couple of sessions a while back, so i want to ask you all for some general advise for dm'ing a one-shot and also if someone has some ideas for scenarios I can make a one-shot around, like a heist or something like that.
