>lewdgame in which nobody wants to be penetrated
surprise, surprise.
You know what you must do, OP. Usually shit GMs who run lewdgames force players to play women and only they are allowed to play penetrators.
Your job is clear:
Play willing receptacles for their lust.
Or, y'know. Maybe run with a concept that isn't dependent on maintaining interest via cybersex.
How would the NCR fare if teleported to the 1680's?
Let's assume the following,
1. All pre-war ruins in their territory remain and the entire landmass replaced what was there in 1680. Everything beyond the NCR's border is 1680 as in our timeline.
2. That this is the NCR as it is just after an NCR victory in New Vegas.
3. The Courier is Max Good Karma, but wasn't in NCR territory during the shift.

I never understood this lore. Why does California, the state with the strictest gun control laws, become its own thing with guns in this universe?
>>50998550
The Fallout universe timeline diverges long before strict gun control was a thing
>>50998550
California was fortified incase of Chinese invasion.
what do you think of the new spoilers?
i wonder if there will be any interesting instants or sorceries. it's starting to feel like all the power is in creatures now. lots of threats, and minimal answers.

Hey tg, I let one of my players (it's his first game and I started them all level one. Nether I not them realized somebody could just die in one hit.) get killed in the first session and I'm worried he's basically quit.
My idea is to have a passing Noble resurrect him and then have he party go into debt to him. Whenever they try to pay him off I'm going to have the noble find reasons to increase the debt further and further. I think I'll keep this up until around level five.
How did they all die?
No.He's lost nothing.Just have him roll a new dude.
>>50997456
He said only one died. Probably a wizard from some arbitrary enemy getting a lucky crit, if I had to guess.
Historically, sieges were the greatest portion of medieval warfare. Field battles were rare because defending a fortified position was ridiculously easy. How could this be changed for an alternate history or low-fantasy setting? How could castles be useful and relatively plentiful but exist at the same time as powerful siege equipment?
>>50997042
Simple, powerful siege equipment is a recent invention. Not every army has them, and plenty of castles are still around that haven't been wrecked by trebuchets yet.
>>50997042
Sieges were a risky thing. A fully garrisoned, well stocked castle can last long periods of time against ten times their numbers,
>>50997091
So basically just say that the trebuchet was invented much earlier in the setting than in our world?
redpill me on mutants and masterminds
what power level do games typically have? 10? More?
what's the meta, what are the imbalances?
what does a min maxed character look like?
what kind of characters are considered typical or cliche?
PL10 is the default power level. That's Iron Man and Spider-Man tier.
The game is easily breakable, even by accident. That said, the game itself knows this and does a few things:
>Reminds the GM that he has veto power and the ability to say "no"
>Appeals to the players' narrative side by encouraging them to make the character they want, not the character they "need"
>Points out certain powers that can immediately appear breakable
You don't want to know what a "minmaxed" character looks like, because there's a myriad number of ways to break the game over your knee, and none of them make the game fun.
>>50996812
It's a fun game if you're willing to let it be one. The instant you try to squeeze points out of situations or characters to maximize power, it stops being fun.
Less "I'm the best PL10 character ever made," more Ball of Arms Man.
>>50996986
I don't necessarily want to break the game, I just want to know what powergaming is in this edition to understand it better. But I see what you're saying - the diversity of the system leads to a diversity of ways to break it.

But holy shit, where is the thread title man.
One job man, and you fucked it up.
Hey guys, I'm running a campaign where a Project Azorian-style salvage ship is secretly recovering a nuclear submarine in order to retrieve the missiles, and it's hiding its actions by use of a Philadelphia Experiment invisibility cloak. To power the cloak 24/7 there's going to be a nuclear reactor powership located a couple of kilometers from the salvage site, and presumably some other ships to act as cover for it.
But I can't think of a plausible reason to have a powership stationed out in the ocean without a really clear purpose, can anyone smarter than me come up with some cover stories I can feed the players?
>>50995811
Oceanographic surveys. High-energy physics for reasons.
>>50995918
Oooh, some kind of marine physics testing could work. I wanted to stay away from surveying stuff so that the government that owns the nuclear sub doesn't think they might be searching for it.
Actually, your idea of research is good, maybe they can be testing some prototype railgun or directed energy weaponry for "anti-ballistic defense" purposes. Testing potentially devestating weapons in the middle of the ocean is pretty common as far as things go.
>>50995811
Blame the whole thing on terrorists who hijacked the ship and threatened to blow the thing if anyone gets near and if their demands aren't met.

How good or bad was your first commander deck and how has it evolved over time.
>>50994869
Not very good. My second deck shares a lot of cards with it but I may return to this as I get more relevant cards.
>>50994869
This guy. It was saproling tribal. I had fun but i broke it apart eventually. I forgot who was the next commander but it had red.
It was pretty terrible, but it had some cute stuff in it, Pariah for example. It was basically a voltron deck made with the shit I had lying around in those colors.
Later, it evolved into a Brion Stoutarm threaten & fling deck, and once I got an Aurelia it turned back into Boros tokens. I remade the Brion deck recently, better than before, and it's all right but I don't know if it's really as fun as Aurelia Boros tokens was, so I might remake it as that again. I've become kinda infamous in my playgroups for my favoritism of RW.

Also, about that minor xenos lifeform in panel 2:
>The Narisian Swamp Owl, despite it's disarmingly small size, is a apex predator. Able to unhinge its own jaw to swallow things as large as its own body. Many a feline, small dog, or young child have gone missing from within the borders of Naris, briefly, as the lumpy, distanced fowl culprit is often found sleeping off its meal not too far away.

I need a class to fill a d6 random class table. The game is about a relatively modernesque "game of thrones" (late XIX century europe instead of middle ages). Players are under the orders of a noble house, as an elite force.
1. Figther. Bonus hp + favored weapons
2. Thief. has stealth and some acrobacy powers
3. Ranger. Nature skills, Tracking, Called Shots
4. Mage. Has some magics of healing, protection, divination, unstable summoning (the world is a low magic world, there are not polymorphings or things like that).
5. Tinker. Has some steampunk devices, and the ability to modify and repair them. Also some tweaked weapons with technological downsides
6. WHAT TO PUT HERE? clerics and druids fit more into the Mage slot. Barbarians don't fit the world too much either.
>>50991711
Obviously either a Warlord or Diplomat. No social class in "GoT"-inspired game? What?
>>50991744
Yeah, like an inquisitor. Some kind of super useful out of combat class that can just hold his own in a fight.
Maybe Aristocrat or Noble. A couple of pistols with slow reload and a sword with bonuses to finesse and precision in fencing style scenarios like in a great hall or in a clean street, but significant terrain penalties in rough ground or poorly maintained floor areas. This would reflect their training rather than hands on experience.
Major bonuses to information gathering, bludd, diplomacy, disguise, knowledge of history and nobles, connections they can use with safehouses, ability to intimidate lower ranking guards.
>>50991744
Because everyone's probably being a diplomat already
I want to run a game based on Crystal Chronicles, but I'm stumped on what system to use. I was initially thinking maybe Ryutama, but I'd like something a bit more dungeon crawley, as that's what the majority of gameplay is in the game.
>>50990213
I don't know how to help you, but I do know that Crystal Chronicles gets 1/10th of the love it deserves, and I hope someone can figure it out.
>>50990213
You could Frankenstein's some basic rules from a simple dungeon crawl systems and ryutama together. Use ryutama for the non combat sections and use simple dungeon crawl for combat stuff.
>>50995508
Yeah, I was afraid I was going to have to kludge something together. Oh well, guess it'll give me something to do.
