Amerigo is designed with Americana first. There are plenty of opportunities for using American folklore in a fun and exciting way in the framework of the D&D.

Right now our main goal are to stat up some monsters based on American folklore like wendigos and sasquatch and jackalopes.Additionally we're trying to flesh out the regions some more. From a geographic standpoint I don't understand why escaped goblins would flee to a tiny sliver of land on the coast that probably has strategic value to the elves who enslaved them instead of north to humans who might be willing to protect them? It makes sense from an American cultural/political perspective, but not a geopolitical one. The elves would gobble that coast up, I'm sure.

Far as I'm aware, and my knowledge of Overlord consists of the first LN volume, the anime, what's talked about in threads and what Al tells me, Servants generally have equal or significantly better physical stats and abilities to what's shown in Overlord as well as generally more and better hax/conceptual bullshit. Overlord has much better and more powerful magic overall, including stuff that Servants usually can't do at all, like time stops, resurrection and so on.

So....in physical/hax/concept bullshit a Servant probably wins but in magic, unless you're going into GO Grand bullshit, an overlord person should win. Keep in mind I'm not terribly knowledgeable on Overlord so this could be bullshit.

What is the key to be a good GM?

My players are faggots and they don't know what they want. I feel like I'm selling a pitch everytime I propose a new idea.

What are your tricks to make the game more fun and inmersive? I know every GM has one.

There is no secret trick to GMing, it's all about your practicing your execution and charisma as a GM, and engaging your players' interests as best as you can without getting too patronizing.

Not being an asshole
Preparing scenarios in advance
Taking into account both the PCs AND plyers behind them (a player playing rogue doesn't necessarly excell as making "decisions like a rogue")
Talking with players before and after each game, discussing what went wrong, what went good and commenting the whole thing
In general, talking about the last game with your players, asking what worked for them and what not.
Making sure your players are familiar with game rules, rather than assuming they've read the book

But really, not being an asshole is like 90% of success

And adding to this - make sure you are running scenarios that are interesting for your players. It might be that they have a thing for heist games (my players do). It might be they have a thing for classic dungeon crawl. It might be they like political meddling. It might they don't want to roll dice but rather do a story-tell.
Adjusting to that is a key for success, because there is nothing more frustrating than GMing for people not interested in your scenario AND playing a scenario that doesn't engage you.

Nigga he flew into space unprotected and threw a giant space station down to Earth. By the end of his shitfit he could definitely perform Alpha Plus feats like busting Titans.

In the manga he blasts apart the moon and becomes less matter than a set piece within the intrinsic field of the universe. He stops moving around using his limbs and just propagates his molecular pattern through whatever matter is in front of him.

In my next campaign I'm going to do the fighter, battlemaster, crossbow mastery, sharp shooter thing. I have 2 questions.

1. My DM likes to do feats every 3 levels because he believes that makes the game more enjoyable. Getting crossbow mastery and sharpshooter first, what would you guys recommend after that?

2. I've heard this set up is quite strong plus I got lucky enough to start with 19 dex, is my DM and group going to find my build too powerful perhaps?

1. Hard to say. Those would be really useful. Maybe Lucky, to reroll attacks. It's sort of all-purpose functional.

2. The build is fine, but not particularly more powerful than using a longbow. You have a slightly higher damage output, but with the longbow you'd have an extra feat to dump on something else, because crossbow mastery would be superfluous.
I doubt you'll be unbalancing anything.

How would you run an Evangelion style wargame based around asymmetrical warfare and bio-machines instead of regular robots?

I think you'd get to pick your Evangelion and assign a pilot to it. Each Evangelion has different set ups with equipment and armor, while the pilot cards have different synchs and stats. The mech has Health, while the pilot has Stress. When one hits zero, the mech is out of the battle.

I need to fuck with my players /tg/, but in a good way. Any ideas on how to do so? I am running 5e in a custom setting, and have a Kobold Ranger, Minotaur Paladin, Bloodborn-y Hunter, Angelic Paladin, andBat-person Ranger as the player characters. They just killed a peaceful lich (Without destroying his phylactary), pillaged the remains of the lich's dead friends, then robbed a magic shop after killing it's owner (In their defense, he did try to kill them first, but things got seemingly resolved. Then an arrow in the back). What do I do?

That's it. I'm sick of all this "Master Crafted Flashlight" bullshit that's going on in the 40k system right now. Lasguns deserve much better than that. Much, much better than that.
I should know what I'm talking about. I myself received a lasgun when I completed my training (that's about 40 minutes) and have been practicing with it for almost 2 years now. I can even melt through slabs of plasteel with my lasgun.
Adeptus Mechanicus smiths spend seconds using an STC to make a single lasgun and don't even bother testing it to produce the finest guns known to the Imperium.
Lasguns are thrice as shooty as bolt weapons and thrice as accurate for that matter too. Anything a vulcan mega bolter can shoot through, a lasgun can shoot through better. I'm pretty sure a lasgun could easily vaporize a Carnifex with an Extended Carapace with a simple trigger pull.
Ever wonder why Abaddon never succeeded in taking Cadia? That's right, he was too scared to fight the disciplined Imperial Guard and their lasguns of destruction. Even in the 13th black crusade, Chaos soldiers targeted the Guardsmen with the lasguns first because their killing power was feared and respected.
So what am I saying? Lasguns are simply the best weapon that the universe has ever seen, and thus, require better stats in the 40k system. Here is the stat block I propose for Lasguns:
(Lasgun) 72' Range S9 AP1 Assault 9 Melta Blast Sniper Rending Lance Ignores Invulnerable Saves
(Lascannon) 96' Range S:D/D/D AP1/1/1 Assault 9+2D6 Apocalyptic Mega-blast Barrage
Now that seems a lot more representative of the dakka power of lasguns in real life, don't you think?
tl;dr = Lasguns need to do more damage in 40k, see my new stat block. (Or, failing that, the rules for the Lucian Pattern Hellgun in the Rogue Trader RPG.)

I have all ways like the idea of given players some sort of time manipulation or precognition but it always sounded too hard to actually pull off.

I was thinking of including a Magic item that lets the player turn back time, but only six seconds. There by effectively letting them restart things to their previous turn in combat.

Do you think it could be interesting or just be too much hassle to use?

Time manipulation is probably the single hardest power to pull off in a cooperative game because not on;y does it effect your turn it effects everyone's turn
If you let a player go back one turn do the enemies still do everything they did on that turn or do you as a GM use your meta knowledge to make them act differently
If a player gets hit by an attack and then goes back does he heal
How do you design an encounter around a man who can effectively see 6 seconds into the future and who gets a get out of death free card
All these are questions you need to ask before attempting to let someone play a time controller
