First, you should clarify your story.

This is unclear. Try to clarify that this is another player; the initial phrasing suggests you are using a DMPC.

Are there any other players, or are you playing with only one other person?
If that was your only other player, you should probably contact them and see if they want to continue the game; if they do, explain that you'll tell them when to roll. Furthermore, telling people your backstory isn't going to generally make friends with people when they're trying to do their job - how would they feel if they were playing a videogame and then someone barged in and started telling them how they were molested as a child? Would it make you want to become their friend, or call the cops?
Then call the cops and have your friend arrested for trespassing on your house.

Stop making every dwarf a gruff antisocial fucker who hates elves?
You stuck to formula 'just because' and in doing so set the bar the interact with the dwarf on respectable terms unreasonably high. Average diplomacy rolls might not make him your best friend, but by your own admission he rolled decently multiple times and was still met with open racism.
Ask yourself this: is there anything the player could have done that WOULDN'T have still ended with dwarfsmith still acting exactly the same way to McCoolname?

/tg/, why do my players have no imagination?
In my game, dwarves are Germanic-inspired, and have thematic names. But apparently it's bad.
I had the players meet Geltstein and Steinberg, Dwarven jewellers I described as typical D&D dwarves (short, bearded, avaricious with bulbous noses and a fierce love of gold and gems) and they all left and after the session said I was being offensive.

A /tg/ homebrew wargame setting that started out as another "Let's make a collaborative setting," but quickly became awesome once a surprising amount of lore was generated. Oh, and you can also field an army of MOTHERFUCKING BEARS.

I'm posting these models as-is, meaning that they lack textures, and are in .obj format. They need to have a texture before you're able to really use them in BB3D, but tools like Blender and Sculptris should make it easy to paint, and I'm more than willing to upload any textures provided to me. The model list for each faction is not quite complete, but you should have no trouble creating a Zelthan or Inverse army(sans centaurs)
Anyway, I'm going to be busy with the new semester, so I'm going to be unable to help with anything other than Models, which means I need you guys to take over the thread, and really get started on that wiki page. Hell, if you get all the info condensed I'll make the page and format it, but I just don't have the time otherwise.
Also, if by some miracle one of the archives caught the 4th thread, getting that would be awesome.

These are all mostly stolen from Tabletop Simulator, half of which are fan-made recreations of stuff from Warhammer Fantasy, though some are ripped straight from video games.
As for making them 3d printable, MeshMixer is a great free tool that can import any model and let you modify the model so as to make it 3d printable.

Let me add that this is a horror based campaign and the artifacts they're given are produced by the unspeakable horrors that are the Great Old Ones.
The PCs know what they're getting into, so I don't mind if the consequences are severe.
Apparently Bretonnia is going to be getting some brand new units next month. What do you guys expect?
I just hope they don't introduce gunpowder or elite heavy infantry like dismounted knights.

Unless they bother to code the ability for mounted units to dismount, then they need dismounted knights as a unit. Like sieges for example, they can't put mounted units up on the walls.
As for units they may include, I do believe GW said CA can roughly have free reign to come up with ideas, and GW would be very liberal with approval on what CA runs by them. From some interviews, as I recall, CA said they're going through actual GW concept art and material for possible Bretonnia units and ideas that were never realized. Like the group of monks carrying around the skeletal remains of a grail knight and his horse, as a holy relic.
