Is there an acronym here I'm missing?
Jokes aside, so long as it isn't a hard clone of an already existing Sci-fi setting, you should be fine.
What's the problem? Do you have a problem with things in speculative fiction not being realistic?

How do you handle seduction in your games?
>>51376243
I use the Red Rule of Exalted.
The people playing a game are the only ones who can determine whether sexual content is or isn't being handled in a respectful manner in a game. In the same vein, it specifies that every player involved in any kind of sexual action in the game must consent, or that action does not happen.
>>51376261
That's a good rule, though I was more asking "what techniques do you use?"
>>51376243
Oral sex performed on the GM of course
Its the only way to ensure proper verisimilitude
Why are there no caveman settings?
I feel like there are a few? I just can't remember their names right now.
Lots of settings have stone age tech level regions within a larger area that also had higher tech levels. Even real life has some stone age peoples still around.
Though, since I studied anthropology for three years, I am bound by forsaken rituals of academia to tell you that the concept of "stone age people" is entirely stupid.

What's a more accurate way to describe things? Did humans never live in caves and use clubs?

I want to run something cute, straightforward and rules-lite. I mentioned Bunnies and Burrows to my players and they really liked the idea. Do other rabbit-themed systems exist? Do you have anything of that flavour to rec?

Yeah, I would imagine he has a people for that.
For some reason I have always loved video games that involve a lot of hours. Morrowind and the rest of the bethesda games come to mind. I have a kid now and I may only get a little time here or there to play a game, but I know /tg/ has the best taste.
Here are some games I enjoy:
>Dungeon crawl stone soup
>elements the game (TCG in vidya form)
>Poxnora
>Dreamworlds (pretty obscure, but it was fun before it died)
Any recommendations for games that require a small time investment? Bonus points if I can play via mobile browser.
Trails In The Sky is probably the best jrpg ever made and puts almost every competitor to shame with its characters and world building and doesn't really require much or any grinding. It's pretty long though.
I consider Doom relevant too since it basically plays like an action dungeon-crawl, and was supposedly inspired by a d&d session.
>>51381129
Another Roguelike you might enjoy is Demon
lotsa obscure mythological creatures to inspire /tg/ monsters
>>51381129
Papers, Please and Recettear are my go-to suggestions, but I'll admit I'm far from the most qualified person when it comes to video game suggestions.
How old is the kid?
>>51381202
I got Trails in the Sky on Steam but it won't load up on my computer for some reason.
So /tg/, I just finished making this table for 40k and realized we've never had a thread about the tables we play games on. So feel free to post pics of your tables and whether or not you Made them or bought them and what games you play on them.
Marble tables are not adequate as dices bounce too much. Wood is better.
IKEA Lack tables can accommodate 4 persons at maximum. Being low, they are not very convenient. My best table was a heavy wood office table board with four legs screwed on. The thing offers conveniently room for up to six persons.

>ITT: Settings with a lot of wasted potential
I really thought there was a lot of cool shit going on in the background, but it was all eclipsed by whatever the fuck the main plot was
So what about you all? What story/world let you down ?
>>51380069
Naruto suffered a lot from MC power wanks and a very focused character spotlight. The setting is very interesting from a lore perspective but the author focused all of his efforts on Naruto's story which relegated most other side characters, many of which were quite fun or interesting, to sidelined roles or, in some cases, into a position where they were nothing more than a plot device (Anko, other Jinchuuriki).
I've always wanted so much lore out of this series.
We were given so much cool stuff, but I still wanted more.
Especially once they got to the Mundus Magica, there was so much world and stuff to explore.
>>51380069
This one.
All the world building, backround information, politicking, and other cool stuff got killed by god awful writing and a painfully obvious filler arc that pretty much killed the franchise for me just as it was really picking up speed.
What are cultural qualities possessed by island nations? I figure a sense of "we're different from the mainland" is one of them, since British people will claim they aren't European with zero irony and Japanese people like remaining by themselves.
Most island nations usually pride themselves on one of two things: their personal identity, and their navy.

>British people will claim they aren't European with zero irony and Japanese people like remaining by themselves.
You might as well say "Japanese people claim they arent Chinese with zero irony" with that logic.
