Since Leskovar is taking a break until late april, Rigel and Zyklon_Ben are left to moderate this new /tg/craft. Here are the new rules:
1. Use common sense you cunts.
2. You're allowed to declare war on anyone. This declaration must be made atleast an hour before the declarator begins any conflict. You can do with what you take as you wish. No, I won't protect you if the rest of the server murders you for it.
3. Griefing terrain and fucking up the map for no good reason is not tolerable, either.
4. Everything else is on a case by case basis depending on how much of a obnoxious shit you are.
If you think a player should be banned, make an official appeal on the tgcraft board. In-game complaints against players will be ignored.
Make sure to read /info once ingame!
First for memeraid all /pol/ and /int/, keep their cancer off our server

In many diverse variants tailored to their ecosystem, however this stunts their technological growth as a society and makes advancement difficult for large groups, so you get Pangaloon scaled ones in the planes, lizardy ones in the forests and jungles, and plumed kobolds elsewhere, urban kobolds dwelling in the sewers as a mixed pest/remover of worse pests, all said a number have turned into a viable band of trade caravans

What are the rules for Drowning in WFRP 2e?
I'm looking at the rulebook and can see the Suffocation rules, but are there encumbrance rules for drowning? For example, does heavy armor make swimming more difficult? Can you shed trappings/armor/encumbrance points in order to escape drowning?
>>51378313
There are in-depth rules for it in the Warhammer Companion, I think in the river life section.

aoc924, you're in luck, I'm a Long Islander myself. Nassau County.
I have a small group of Team Yankee players locally that I've been attempting to organize.
Were you look to play Team Yankee or regular Flames of War?
Does anyone on here play Guild Ball?
Granite a cute, CUTE
So, what's the general power ranking of Season 3?
>>51329385
Guildball? You mean that cheap inferior Blood Bowl ripoff?
Why do I get the feeling that Gamesworkshop is a very elitist company that thinks it knows everything and everything it does is perfect and when want to create your own army and lore, it gives you a fuck you and then its fanboys do the same thing and tell you to fuck you fuck off? Fuck them I'm going to buy Chinese recasts from now on

My, my my. What could this be?
Let's just go for it, shall we? No reason to wait.
Ooh, nice.
There's just something about those balls that are appealing. But there seems to be something left in the package?
>Coming up with ideas for stuff, DMing, characters, anything
>hit gold with an original idea and start to develop it
>realize it's just a slight modification of something else way more popular
>half year spent on detailed campaign
>players still consider you talentless hack, since main twist similar to plot of vidya released last week
>>51407165
>>51407224
Good artists copy, great artists steal
>>51407165
dont worry too much about being original, just focus on refining the idea and making sure it all goes smoothly
it is much better to have a simple concept executed well, than it is to have an "original" idea that is all over the place
and really we have gone 2000 years with the exact same Heroes Journey and no one complains, you'll be fine
I lost them all /tg/ can we get a best of /tg/ thread going?
Seeing how popular other ones like the Hektor Heresy got, I thought I'd throw this out there.
How would /tg/ feel about a "realistic" no xenos AU? Eldar and Orkz are genetically altered and/or evolved humans and the Necrons are actually the Iron Men.
More to come depending on initial reactions.
Some initial ideas:
-Eldar are the descendants of rich assholes who went into space to escape global warming/WWIII, etc. They're all genetically engineered/selectively bred eugenicsfags which is why they're all pretty and shit.
- Eldar create robot slaves who eventually rebel and become the Necrons.
- Eldar can't use the internet anymore because Necron haxxors a'la Battlestar Galactica. Develop psychic powers somehow to replace it.
- Eldar create Orks as supersoldiers to fight Necrons. They're initially mindless meat-puppets controlled by telepathy, but they get their asses kicked by the Crons. Eldar beef them up by gene-splicing them with alien fungi but this causes them to grow beyond the Eldars' control and turn against them as well.
- Eldar discover (or create) the Warp and try to use it to wipe out their failed creations. Chaos gods come and fuck everybody's shit up.
- Emprah comes along and unites the war-torn Earth the Eldar's ancestors left behind, creates Space Marines as a better, hopefully more controllable version of the Orks. Heresy happens anyway. Etc.
That's what I got so far.
>>51405089
>Orkz are genetically altered and/or evolved humans
Do you realise that what you will get are female orks with saggy titties? GW solved problem of saggy titties by making orks mushrooms, do you want to run into the same problem?
>>51405405
They're still mushrooms, just part-human mushrooms, and before that clones, so that's all good.
So /TG/ what makes a Jedi and for that matter a Sith? Is it Their teachings? Their codes? Their Adherence to a Simplistic philosophical Morality? Which side of the force they use?
I ask Simply because they have been a few Jedi and Sith alike, to receive training, to have been taught their respective codes, adhere to their Simplistic Morality, and use the force. But don't simply care for their respective Order
>What is wookipedia
>>51404988
>Using a site that can be easily change tk whatever you like
>>51404945
They're organizations anon, it's not that deep.
If you're trained by a Jedi/Sith and follow their rules, you're a Jedi/Sith.
Those guys you mentioned that don't like the Orders are just force-users. You can call them Grey Jedi if you want, but prepare for nerd rage.
/tg/ I need some help brainstorming on the state of the world at the end of a capstone adventure of the last campaign.
The goddess of the underdark (like not Lolth, but the one that held domain over the physical depths of both the ocean and the land) did battle with a giant primal spirit presiding over the ocean, tides, and currents.
Their realms intermingled and the greatest horrors at each of their beckon call did battle.
Then the PC's arrived on an airship and through trickery involving bag of holdings, portable holes, and the type of stuff a party of non-martials can pull of managed to weaken the spirit to the point of hibernation, while the god was permanently banished to another plane and is rendered powerless to touch the world ever after.
The campaign picks up 25 years after that with new characters. What would be the reality of a world where both the seas and the cavern system beneath the earth are wracked with civil wars over that power vacuum?
>>51404918
In the depths of the sea.
>Sahuagin warbands are being formed from conquered tribes of the fishfolk. Rumors of a Malnti Warrior gathering them into the fold and taking greater holdings than their kind have known in centuries are whispered from the kelp forests to the coral reefs.
>Merfolk surge toward coastal settlements, much more stable in light of recent events, and establish good relations with some land-dwellers while others have gained the ire of fishing communities suddenly bereft or forced into competition with the newcommers.
>Anguillian numbers surge in the far south waters, enlarged, armed lamprey barbarians seem to be swarming, their natural cycles thrown into disarray by a new vein of volcanic vents warming their habitat.
>Cephelamer mages, master diviners and strategists, offer to sell information and magical aid to those who've the wits to realize that their tendrils are already in everyone's courts and plots, while their agents obscure and conceal the truth of matters within their own reaches; a shadow civil war of quiet words, hidden deeds and prying eyes in the fluorescent towers of the north waters which reach from the clouds to the seabed.
>Abolethic Sovereignty returns slowly, singular abberations realizing the opportunity at hand and seeking to establish the beginings of their own little empires with mortal followers at hand. They act not simply from the shadows, but in proxies behind proxies (Think Xorvintaal if you know of it).
>>51405955
In the underdark, the earth quakes under the shifting stones and scenes. Derugar uprisings abound as each of them seeks to find new slaves to toil for their glory. The Green Steel Hierarch has decreed that the forges shall overflow with production to sweep the markets in which they deal, but in truth weapons and arms the likes of which have not been seen in centuries are in dwarven hands once more, as a secret deal between the Hierarch, the Elder Stone, and the Storm Rider clans on the coastal ranges above them have colluded; an empire on three levels. The Derugar shall fill their coifers to fund and supply it. The Stone Dwarfs of the Darkened Valley shall carve and protect it. The Storm Riders will reach out over the surface and take to the sea and the skies to ensure their supremacy. At any one part, they seem insignificant, but in the scope of this new scale no one part may fall while the other two are unassailable.
Illithid collectives are running the numbers, and they are concerned; with the upheaval in recent events and the potential for conflicts...the humanoids might kill too many of themselves for their collective to survive; they need a healthy population to feed from and the prospects of starvation have left the usually-antagonistic Mind-Flayers in a remarkably charitable and altruistic stance of late.
A beholder has found a maze of mirrors and memorized every corridor. Scores of kilometers worth of territory ceeded to one floating eye-head because the fucker can spew eye beams across a series of reflecting faces and unexpected angles. Literally No One is happy about this except for the beholder who is having the time of its life and an odd cult of drow muder-clowns that find this to be hilarious. The beholder hates them but finds them to be useful as agents for when it wants something from beyond its grand, safe haven.
The Myconids have discovered farming and alchemy, harvesting neighbors for new fodder and soil.
>>51406145
On the surface.
>The Elves have forsaken the woods in favor of desert sands; too immaterial to support an underdark, dry enough and high enough altitude to be averse to aquatic incursions. Harsh enough to discourage other invaders. Calm enough for contemplation of the way they've changed in light of the strange alterations that have come to them since primal spirit departed. They're pretty happy recreating Dune scenes.
Half the human nations are going about business as usual, somewhat dull to it after a generation has already passed and left the whole thing in living memory but not particularly poignant in their minds. Those with broader interests and awareness seek to aid those affected by the turmoil who have been their partners in trade, battle, or even simply kind neighbors in the past, while others recall old hatreds fervently and lash out given the opportunity; some small civilizations foundered and fell to human rule not because of the giant and depth-strider's conflict, but because in the aftermath they were easy prey.
The Strix, Avians, Kenku and other bird-folk take the recent tumult as a sign that their time to shine has come and seek to extend their own kingdoms. One sun-worshipping group in particular has crafted a reflecting/refracting device to strike out with the sun's rays across vast distances, lashing out at all in their lands who do not bend knee to their will. Still, none of them have found purchase against the Storm-Rider Dwarf clans for some reason, and they are keen to learn what the secret to their swift reconstruction and eagerness to fight in the skies that should rightfully have cast them down from their gryphon and wyvern mounts.
Nothing clever to say edition
