Not multiplayer, but I dip into the single player every now and then. Exterminatus is an exercise in frustration, though. Dialing up enemy health for horde modes is always bullshit and makes the game feel terrible.

First, how exactly does Alternate Effect work? It seems like you could have four or five different attacks for the same point cost. Is this intentional?
Second, is it customary to max out your defensive skills? It seems like it's very easy to do so.

You can only use one effect at a time so if you had Enhanced Strength 5 with an alternate effect of Enhanced Toughness 5 you could only have one active at a time

Just posted this into the dying thread, like a faggot.
In short...
One of my players is gonna be playing an assassin in our upcoming game, and we both want to play around with poison and the poisoner's kit, so I tossed this together as an rough sketch.
I want poisons to be available to him but don't want them to become trivial or overused. I also don't want them to be impractically expensive or time-consuming to prepare (so the standard crafting rules had to go... 20 days and 100 gp to make a basic poison that sells for... 100 gp).

Ok /tg/ so here me out on this.
Lich can be completely skeletal, they're undead creatures so it's obvious they don't need vital organs to sustain life.
However, it's a fair assumption that the moment one transitions into a Lich, before decomposition begins, ones flesh is still intact. Perhaps your heart stops beating, perhaps your brain becomes starved of oxygen, but for the time being they're still preserved.

Do you think that's possible? Or would you argue a Brain in a Jar requires the soul of the person it originally belonged to in order to animate it? Though, the entry suggests a zombie brain could be used with the correct procedure which then grows to develop an intelligence, and I'd say a zombie doesn't have a soul.
Do you think you could have two copies of Darkdeath von Evilberk? One who is a Lich and one who is his animated brain gained sentience, removed immediately after his death?
