Young green dragon found himself an abandoned tower into which he made a lair for himself. A safe place on the edge of desolations of old greens and on the other hand, far from pesky humans from towns who want dragon scales. With that said, green dragon is as evil as any chromatic draconic being.
A day ago dragon heard a loud sound nearby. He inspected it and it had turned out a group of four rather inexperienced adventurers were trying to defeat some forest dweller.
Dragon closed in and inspected the group. Now with his desire (and a nice lair at hand) he decided not to let them go. He was prety sure he will just fumigate the pesky humanoids at first, when one mentioned they are looking for a treasure. Treasure sounds nice, so at the end of the day dragon picked them all one by one and flew them to his tower in order to have them seek this treasure the day after and not run away.
He resides high up in the rafters while tower's entrance is blocked off with heavy debries. Adventurers are caught for the night.
Now it is clear adventurers are tasty AND dragon will need to take a nap in a day or so AND will need to go hunting in a day or so. He has no actual cell or similar place to keep the adventurers until he returns. ALSO adventurers may have some nice loot.
What should a dragon do with priprities:
- I want my presence to remain unrevelaed. Might be smart to kill anyone who might betray it
- These gays may actually lead to loot. I dont have much patience but these guys may lead me to some nice treasure
- I am unable to really imprison them(has no shackles at hand or guards) and soon I may need to go after my usual business and they will most probably flee
thanks

Hope that the dragon cultists reveal themselves and help you look after them.
>>51441612
Actually adventurers have killed all the but one of dragon cultists. Didn't mention that. Dragon actually took one of them with him and has him as "an interesting pet".
basically more and more I am thinking of dragon just fumigating the whole party and be done with it.
>>51441451
Honest answer: pump them for information under the pretense of making a deal, then kill them. Adventurers HAVE loot, but will almost certainly not BRING you loot.
Real answer, assuming the adventurers are PCs: genuinely make a deal. You want treasure; they want treasure. You don't want attention, they don't want to be eaten. You'd like a team of minions fetching loot for you, they'd like a dragon to call on sometimes to help them fetch it.
Offer to let them live in return for a portion of their future loot. Point out that you're of no danger to humans, and that you'll almost certainly be able to help them take out an established, dangerous dragon with an actual hoard at some point in the future.
If anyone objects, eat them immediately and repeat the offer to the survivors, cautioning them not to confuse magnanimity with negotiation.
I need pictures of chaotic monsters, like the Thing or Chaos Spawn. Creatures of random structure that look disgusting and not of this Earth.

>Beneficial slime monster
How would you manifest this notion ?
>>51431252
This guy right here.
>>51431252
It's used as a medium to operate a suit of armor lined with semi-organic muscle that enhances the wearer's strength and reaction time.
>>51431252
Even if it's not sapient a slime with digestive enzymes that only work on dead cells would be fantastic both for spa treatments and preventing infection.

So, how many Thousand Sons are there left?
Is it actually 1000? Or is it like 999 plus Magnus?
Can Rubrics truly be killed?
>>51448231
What god did humanity make? Emps wasn't powerful enough for god level and Khorne/war existed before humans.
>>51448254
Im not 100% sure but I thought it was like 1000 Psykers active. But who fucking knows the amount of actual rubrics.
>>51448047
that's how tolkien wrote them, fantasy rpg's took liberally from tolkien's mythos. tada.
What do you want them to be the top 1 of then?
>>51448066
why are they top 1 shooters in arda?
Elegan/tg/entlemen,
No matter how much effort i put my group refers to all the NPCs as "quest dude", "Bad guy", "Evil Boss Guy", "Drizzt wanna be".
They refer to each other as Fighter, Rogue whatever.
Instead of fighting it, i think i will embrace it. Have you ever trying doing shit like that?
Are stories about "young adventurers" helping "Dogooders order" to stop "Invicible lich monarch" from obtaining the "mcguffin stone" any good?
Literally just start doing what they do and either it'll work out for everyone or they'll be like "why aren't you trying, OP?" and you can say "now you know how I feel."
>You see a gentleman in a fur coat enter the tavern. He looks around before loudly introducing himself to the entire room as "Quest Guy, herald of potential railroading." He proceeds to offer everyone "A chance to complete some plot progression while obtaining XP and possibly items." All you must do is, in his word, "Complete the Arbitrary Sub-plot to protect Character McGuffin, who exists in the First Dungeon of the Game." Conveniently this dungeon appears to be the first dungeon in our current game. Wat do?
>>51447343
this
you might come off as a surly cunt but it'll get the point across
if they suddenly embrace this for the sake of lul so randum you need to get better group members
>>51447343
I was thinking something more along the lines of:
>You see a gentleman in a fur coat enter the tavern. He looks around before loudly introducing himself to the entire room as "Sheriff Quest Guy" He proceeds to offer everyone "A chance to help getting rid of the evils affecting quest town" All you must do is, in his word, "Get rid of the near dungeon goblin tribe while cleansing the make the harvest bountiful again shrine". Conveniently this dungeon appears to be near. Wat do?

>no one wants to start
>DM looks at me and says "Anon, you look like you're not paying attention. Why don't you start us off."
>put on the spot, all I can think to say is "So, ye lubbers be me new crew?"
>to my surprise, every other player goes along with it.

it didn't last long but it was fun while it did. We ended up nuking our rig, our players, and later on straight up replacing the crew and going on a short but pleasant city crawl
Would you let a Ranger take waifus as a favored enemy?
>>51445899
Oh hell yes! Find a way to break Ranger, join one of the Pathfinder ERP threads they've got going, and kill. Everything.
>>51445899
No. You'd have to be one of the psychic classes for that.

Mortarion confirmed. That means the model teased by GW earlier this week HAS to be Draigo
>>51439964
Oh shit I didn't even make that connection.
Yeah it would seem Draigo and Mortarion are both pretty much confirmed now.
Confirmed as a private commission using the same base as the Magnus figure
If this guy was the real artist he would be fucked over by GW lawyers
needs more draigo
What the shortest the main villain can be before they lose any sense of threat?
4 feet?
>>51434169
Depends on the size of rest of the world, and how the character looks.
Snakes/Spiders are small compared to people but can still be intimidating.
The Staypuff marshmello man isnt that intimidating even when he's 50 feet tall.
>>51434169
It's not the size of the villain that makes them a threat, it's the size of their villainy.
>>51434169
Toddlers are fucking terrifying.
Hey Guys,
i am looking for a dungeon suited for a "Frankenstein" type of a mad scientist and couldn't find anything suitable.
Or maybe there is an tool that you could recommend to make dungeons?
The idea is that the party is trapped and separated into 2 groups to go through various stages of testing (fighting monsters, solving puzzles,...).
In the end the "winners" are supposed to give their limbs and organs to the abominations the scientist für his next abominations. (which of course the party is going to prevail)
In the end the "winners" are supposed to give their limbs and organs to the scientist for his next abominations.*

One room and a bunch of false doors.
>>51447101
One room with a very, very basic scientific experiment in it. Like: testing the law of gravity? A wood sphere and an iron sphere are dropped from the ceiling to the floor, then lifted up again, and dropped again, simultaneously, over and over and over again.
This has been EXHAUSTIVELY documented in PILES and PILES and PILES of notebooks... and every book has the same entry
(Drop height: 15 feet - Result: Simultaneous.) Sixty times per page, two hundred pages per notebook.
And the handwriting is... extremely meticulous.
But there's one entry... once every few pages...it just says "Asynchronous result - outside of expected. Hypothesis challenged?"
Much later in the dungeon, there's a puzzle based around gravity that involves a broad defiance of physics as we know them.
Looking for some fun & good DW playbooks. Will post ones I have.
Also: DW discussion? I've got little to say.

The Flock to the Front Line rule that the Castellans of the Imperium possess fits for the Imperial Guard but doesn't really fit for Space Marines, Inquisition or Sisters of Battle. What should it be replaced with for units from those Codexes?
