I kinda liked the suggestion upthread to give some kind of metamagic freebies.
>>51448323
But then you're just remaking Spellburst Savant.
>>51448305
I've joined Hell's Vengeance and Rise of the Jade Regent, as well as a couple others from before!
can a righteous holy warrior force a unrighteous warrior to keep his promise to love a monster?
>>51447135
Is it really love if you have to force him?
>>51447178
what if the monster love him back?
>>51447372
That means all of jack. It's a two-way street and forcing any of the parties involved into it makes it a shitty situation. No one is entitled to be loved in return just because they love someone. That's genuinely fucked up.
Someone locally offered me a binder of all three Urza's complete sets (Saga, Legacy, Destiny) for a grand. Should I go for it? There's a ton of staples and cards on the reserved list that make me seriously consider it.
I mean, if they are in good condition and it really is the full block? Yeah, I think that's a good deal.
>>51447071
He claims the cards are in NM/LP condition, and that I can go check them in person before pulling the trigger.
If it's the full block in good shape, yeah, go for it.
So, since they feel like they fit the setting, I was wondering: how would the Panzemensch from Uber do in 40K? Let's say that some small, isolated human federation, no larger than a sector or two, got their hands on the technology to create them, and in all other ways they're technologically comparable to the Imperium.
For those that don't know, Panzermensch are basically supersoldiers created through exposure to an exotic element, which causes death in most cases, gives roughly one in a thousand subjects superhuman abilities. They're pretty much immune to small arms fire, with artillery shells merely bruising and winding them, and can rip through tanks with their hands. They also gain a telekinetic field that can violently displace/manipulate matter, causing all kinds of shit like blasting people apart or fusing matter together. Around one in a thousand successful subjects can take multiple 'hits', resulting in exponentially more power, the rarest of which seem to be about as rapey as I'd consider a Primarch to be, able to hurl tanks across the horizon and such.
The cons are that they need a rest period after prolonged activity or their bodies start to break down (which means they're not great for holding ground), they take time to fully activate, and their numbers have a hard limit in relation to your population.
How'd they do against the usual monsters and TEQs of 40K? How would the Imperium view something like this?
>>51446753
An example of near top-tier Panzermensch durability. Not quite as tough as they can get, but nearly there.
This is pretty much what a Primarch is like, right?
>>51446877
Just based on what that tank looks like, that's an 88mm round. I'm somehow not certain that a primarch could take that to the chest without armor. With armor, it's a possibility.
>>51446753
Also, why are those ostensibly american soldiers using ppsh-41's?
How do you come up with alien mindsets and cultures that are fundamentally different from humanity? Where you couldn't just insert humans instead and have it still work?
Just make them selfless and rational.
>>51445146
That only works once.
I don't because that's impossible. Try to prove me wrong.
Looking for RPG characters mostly.

They might be listening and trying to not release everything as broken as some of the most recent ones have been.
Or they're gonna toss out another UA for mystics.

anyone know how long it takes for the game to get uploaded to youtube?

only good guys race in 40k may post here. Ultramarines are welcome too but only if they behave

Hello there, filthy xenos.

Or viceversa?

If you care about sneak attack damage, it's better to have more rogue ranks. If not, bard ranks are better.
>>51440442
Depends on what you see your character as.
>>51440442
She is a strait up rogue with a high cha and a good social build, haven't seen anything yet from her that indicates more than charming rogue.
Have you, or anyone you've ever known, played a paladin that does not worship a deity? How should you handle it without making it too loose in terms of restrictions and motivating factors?
>>51439316
Depends on setting? Maybe, in a setting where worship of a deity isn't strictly required for paladins, how about a Paladin of Law? So lawful good/neutral to the max.
>>51439316
In 5e Paladins don't require deities in any form their powers come from their oath. So you can easily just say your paladin is driven by JUSTICE and HONOUR. As opposed to DEUS VULT! Granted that isn't to say I would recommend going full Atheist, since being an Atheist in a setting like DnD is retarded.

Divine Magic is just a thing some people are born with, nobody is really sure if it's the blessings of a god or not. What is know though, is that harnessing such magic requires alot of discipline, self control, and clarity of mind. Living according to a code of morals and ethics helps instill these things and make the harnessing of this magic easier.
Essentially how the Light Side of the Force is treated in Star Wars.

This leads me back to an old campaign where we
>cut a guy's face off and threw him into a magical healing spring. Though to be fair he was a serial killer
>jammed immovable rods into an imp's wings
>sawed a guy's arm off with a shuriken and made him out slave
>>51434536
I always attempt to make my games well executed, though I never really got to torture anyone so I would not know about that one.
>>51434536
We nailed an immortal to the sky, once, using immovable rods carved into spikes.
Excessive, maybe, but to be fair the guy had been hounding us for fucking months and wouldn't get the message.
You've done it, you've fought your way past the horde, you've killed the big bad or accomplished your goal, it's finished... and then you realize you're fucked even though you won.
Tell me /tg/, when have you found yourself up shit creek without a paddle after beating an encounter or campaign?
How poorly did it go for you?
Was getting caught a part of your plan?
And more importantly, has anyone crashed any plane, leaving not a single survivor?
Mary mother of God I hate Bane-posting.

Repetitive strategies, what games seem to always devolve into the same old shit for you /bgg/? Any house rules/changes/suggestions to fix this problem? Is there a problem with optimal opening/finishing moves or is it ok as long as the bulk of the game is interesting and varies?

In Battlestar Galactica, we gjave a player who's really good at playing a Cylon, so we send him to the brig first chance we get then just roll the dice whether he's really a traitor or not.
