I was analyzing pic related. So, Roboute Guilliman appears to be leading a combined force of:
>Ultramarines
>Inquisitor and Grey Knights
>Cypher and some Fallen
... against some Rubric Marines of the Thousand Sons. Does this mean Magnus will return to the Imperium? Hear me out;
What reason does Guilliman have to be leading CYPHER, his own marines, and the INQUISITION on an assault of some Thousand Sons controlled planet? The Inquisition has the ability to "forgive" heretics if they are deemed worthy, and allow them to join the Imperium. Cypher's had his fingers in just about every damn thing, so he could be pulling the strings here. What if Guilliman, at the request of Cypher, and with a force of Grey Knights to back him up and purify Magnus, is attempting to bring his brother back?
Not only would Magnus be a powerful ally (the most powerful living psyker by far, in addition to being a PRIMARCH) but it would even out the numbers somewhat. There are more traitor primarchs than there are loyalists right now, even assuming all the "missing" primarchs are alive. At least from a business perspective, having an even number of loyalists and traitors would make for a better setting, instead of it being skewed in one direction. This means a traitor needs to return to the Imperium.
Not only that - but Magnus recently got a demon primarch model... in PLASTIC. He's the only modeled primarch to not be given a high-quality resin model - why? Because they knew they were going to soon make a 40k non-demon resin model, and didn't want to lose money making multiple resin lines for him.
And, while this may be even MORE anecdotal than all of that - Magnus' character is based of The Tempest's character Prospero. Long story short, partly thanks to a character named CALIBAN, Prospero throws his magic sorcery book into the sea and vows to forgive his enemies and not let pride in his magic blind him again. Will GW use this to inspire a "Magnus returns to the Empire" story arc?

You do realize that Rowboat is from a time when Cypher was a title and the dangles were black, right? The current dangles also go out of their way to make sure no one knows about the fallen. Girlyman has no reason not to trust him except for the sword on Cyphers back.

Bag of tricks says a player can pull a fuzzy object of the bag and throw it, 3 times a day. Does it gain back the charges at dawn?
I know deck of illusions has a finite number of cards. For deck of many things - aside from two cards, they reappear in the deck. So it has infinite uses? Can a player just say, I want to draw 50 cards? Can a player say, I want to draw 1 card at a time?

I noticed that there is a huge number of elven subtipes in most settings - High Elves, Wood Elves, Dark Elves, Solar Elves, Lunar Elves, etc. Meanwhile, there's a dearth of dwarven subtipes - you're lucky if you get Duergars of Chaos Dwarves. Let's try to rectify this by coming up with original subtypes of dwarves.
>Sea Dwarves
As there are numerous mountain ranges on the bottom of the sea, it's only natural to expect that there are also dwarves there. Originally exiled from their homes on the dry land, they came across seamountains in submarines and built magnificent domed cities there. Most of them spend their entire lives on the seafloor, mining its vast untapped treasures. They extensively use corals in decoration and carry harpoon launchers for self defence.
>Sky Dwarves
Without a mountain to call home, the Sky Dwarves are the nomads of their race. Their clans live in fleets of gigantic zeppelins, each one of them carrying a platform comparable in size to a city. As young Sky Dwarves learn to walk, they also begin learning how to use a jetpack, since it's a much more convenient means of transportation in the sky than just their two feet. They travel around the world looking for invitations by the ground kings to develop mines for them. While their contracts demand a third of the wealth they manage to unearth, their services are highly sought after.
>Abyssal Dwarves
The stories of dwarves who accidentally dig into a demon tomb and lose their kingdoms as a result are common, but the ancestors of the Abyssal Dwarves are uniquely unlucky. In their avarice they dug into the earth's bowels until they reached layers inhabited by indescribable creatures who came into the world aeons ago. Awoken from their slumber, these elder beings enslaved the intruders and twisted their forms to better suit their tastes. Mutated beyond all recognition, the Abyssal Dwarves, as they became known, dwell in the deepest dungeons, only leaving them to do bidding of their dark masters.

Doesn't the whole returning of primarchs thing go completely against the underlining theme of stagnancy and decay within the 40k universe? I'm certainly not complaining, but now that things are suddenly seeming to be hopeful with a small chance of humanity actually not perishing, it gives the "grim darkness of the future" a far different tone when humans now have an actual demi-god leading them...

Essentially GW, is repeating what they did with Warhammer Fantasy - rapid development followed by narrative scrapping of the setting and a complete reboot with stronger focus on younger audience.

Absolutely, there is nothing weird about it, sometimes you just want to have a completely loyal companion, they think about disagreeing but when you talk to them it's so soothing, why go to the effort, just go along with it and you'll be rewarded well, promise. And then after a while they just get used to following, it feels so relaxing to just go with the flow and not think about it, why waste mental energy worrying about why you're doing things which could be spent thinking about Master. Of course they're so happy like that it only makes sense that they'd want to help other people feel that way so they're delighted when more thralls join the group.
