I'm looking for an RPG that is focused on economics and trading. Does anyone have any good suggestions? I was thinking Rogue Trader but it doesn't really fit the theme. The other was Iron Kingdoms but I need to make an entire economy system from scratch and what i have so far is pretty bad.

I feel there are more weapon enthusiasts on /tg/ than /v/ so I'm putting this thread here.
Is the design of the Halo energy sword practical at all or is it just aesthetic it would be much less useful if one were to actually use one? If so, does it make any sense at all?

The HALO energy sword looks more like a really long punch-dagger. It would be good for stabbing but if you attempted to use the edge for striking or blocking it'd be dependant on the strength of your wrist (which isn't exactly ideal). It does protect the hand which is nice but yeah, it's main use would be running up and stabbing people instead of 'swordfighting' in the usual sense

Honestly, in real life, if I could take over the world and rule it with an iron fist I would. I was actually leaving it real open on purpose to see what everybody complained about or what common house rules popped up. I've noticed /tg/ tends to project their pet peeves onto vague posts.
I personally only have experience playing 3.5 and find that skill rolls are trivial in the 2 or 3 skills your character has invested in and everyone seems to be unclear about target rolls/DCs.

I was posting about this idea in another thread a few days ago and thought I'd share it with the rest of /tg/ and see what you had to add or comment about it:

I can imagine a thousand reasons instantly, the most likely being that he became a lich with the blessing of this god in the first place.
