What's your favorite reactive commander?
>commander anthology
Does that mean there will be no more prebuilt commander decks?
(OP) I like yeva because she gives me a strong balance between Timmy and Johnny. I kill people with big guys but I play draw-go more often than not
>>52012850
Pretty difficult to have a "reactive" commander when everyone can see it coming from a mile away. I do like having a commander with flash in a blue deck, though. Make 'em second guess, wether I'm just out of plays, planning to play my commander in general or actually do have that Desertion in hand. I guess the closest to an actually "reactive" commander I can think of is something like Elesh Norn or Kagemaro.

>Party is Lv3, has no magic weapons yet, this is an important detail.
>Enemy is a single Lv5 with dr 10/magic because of a mighty suit of armor stolen from a noble warrior. Also wields a +1 flaming longspear, obviously he's near impervious to the party's damage output and dangerous to get close to.
>Think this would be a decent encounter
>They get thrashed
>And the sweaty mantits come STRAIGHT out about how it's "unfair" and "bullshit" and "how were we meant to hurt him"
I don't fucking know, disarm the cunt, take his weapon, and kill him with it? This is why I gave up d20 in the first place. It's only played by brain-damaged idiots.
>>52010870
People are so used to being denied the ability to disarm an enemy of their weapon that they don't think the DM will actually allow it when the opportunity arises, or that if they try it the DM is going to make the game hell by having EVERY enemy try to disarm/make called shots to interrupt casting.
It's the reason nobody uses the severing rules: because it's much more painful to be on the receiving end of them in D&D. You cut off one goblin's arms, and it's one goblin's arm. You cut off the wizard's arms, and the party's down a spellcaster.
>>52010870
We'd need more info to judge the situation but usually, if your players are inexperienced, then you shouldn't throw in stuff that will require use of some really specific mechanics or too much luck with the die with the consequences being a party wipe.
Also, it's a that GM move to make things have only one solution.
With that said, if the encounter was reasonable and they had a somewhat fair chance of succeeding, even if just by running away, then I'd say your players were quite stupid indeed. Did they have some kind of caster or something to stun/debuff the enemy that they didn't use? Maybe a something from the environment to use against the guy?
You suggested disarming, had you considered what rolls would be needed to do it? Was it viable? How much was the average enemy hit? And how much HP the party's tank had?
You should absolutely avoid making things too easy, but throwing unreasonably hard/unbeatable stuff at the players usually results in no fun for everybody.

>It states that they can speak common
What does? The 5e Monster Manual doesn't list any languages.
>>52008383
In previous editions they had an int of 8 I believe.
I think it was even listed in the text that you could bribe it to leave you alone.

It already exists. It's called Blue Rose.

What was/is your biggest pet peeve about your favorite setting? For me, it's probably Dracula making Bram Stoker writing the book.

Seers of the Throne have no special Seer-only method of guarding against Wisdom loss.
Which is a massive weakness when their masters demand such abhorrent acts of them on a constant basis (ignoring the fact for a moment that they themselves are usually pretty horrible people).
My wife wants me to run Iron Claw, what do? edition.
Iron Claw General. Also, never played/ran Iron Claw and my SO is curious. What the fuck do I do, anons?
>>52005539
It's an RPG made for furries, it's not a bad system, unlike most furry works it's competently written and thought out so you shouldn't have much problem with it.
Just read the book, it gives you enough information about the game system and the tribes of the setting to do your own shit. Come back when you have a better question then "lol wat do?"
Get a divorce, that's what you do.
2nd edition.
Combat should be sparse and dire as Irowclaw combat is decently deadly.
Yada yada furries.
Funfact: A bunch of the cringy art in the book is done by Tracy Butler of Lackadaisy fame, but before she got gud.
What would happen if a UEF commander reclaimed Abbadon the Despoiler? Does stripping him away molecule by molecule and putting the mass into the instant transmission network leave behind the chao corruption? Or does it corrupt the network?
Given that Chaos Corrupted Men of Iron are already canon, you can quite safely assume the latter.
>>52005259
Maybe I should add the system pulls the resources out of the air. Im not sure how the physics work.
>>52005607
Physics is pretty much unrelated to how Chaos functions.

So WIP, I think I figured out how I'm going to model my sister command squad, but I would like some thoughts.
If I use pic related (Not nine) because none only are both arms open, she's wearing a helmet. I'm thinking I can stick the combi on the sword arm, and the flamer on the plasma. Would this work? I have a bunch of combi-plasma, but I need to get flamers. A regular SM flamer should work I think or maybe SoS flamers even.
CHARACTER ART

What about the other thread?
I'm looking for female warriors.
Classic greek amazons with spear and shield in particular but I'm generally interested in classic fantasy art of female warriors of any kind.
Feel free to make requests. I'll see what I have.
Was thinking of making a bee inspired race where women are the only sentient members of the race. Women are large sized while men are small. Men have a very barbaric society where they'll fight wars to capture enemy queens so they can either kill them for their queen or so they can take that queen back home and treat her like a goddess. The men are small dimwitted creatures with faces that look like chewed bubble gum.
I'm struggling on what abilities to give them and the females appearance.
Has anyone on TG ever tried something similar?
What would such a race look like when they achieve nation size would they have just one queen or multiple or could they never achieve nation size?
