The world has nine major intelligent races.

Once every 64 years and the tides recede and stay receded due to a reverse water spout that creates a massive super storm that covers a hemisphere for a year.
>>52183364
The storm is made up of superheated steam and intense, violent winds. A large religious movement believes the coming storm Heralds the beginning of a new age. Instead of recording history in 100 year intervals, history is recorded in 64 year intervals.

Brownies are a small, hard working, and kind race. They are formed from the dirt of the earth and spawned by the magic of their kind. They live for a decade or two, before the magic fades and they're out back to rest in the ground from which they came.
Brownies are only a third the size of Humans, but they don't have any vital organs, sense of pain, or blood to bleed, and must be completely dismembered or destroyed entirely to die in combat. If they lose limbs or are seriously wounded they can heal themselves with the dirt of their birthplace.
They're herbivorous, mostly sedentary farmers, and live with other Brownies in isolated hamlets and villages. They wouldn't like to live with other races, but they're very hospitable to visitors. They're very orderly, and usually don't like any changes in scenery or routine.

What's the worst Planeswalker card ever printed?
Tibalt, not even a debate. Yes, there are decks you can build to make him ""playable"" but he just isn't good.
Seconding Tibalt, he's trash
There is one Delver deck that uses him in Legacy but otherwise he's awful
Tibalt not even fucking close. And to think he would actually be decent if his +1 did not say Random in it.
Why does she have wings?
>Implying that she's not a filthy mutant whose physical form mocks humanity's perfection
>>52182627
The wings extend from her jump pack you scrub. Actually look at the model.
>>52182627
A. They're wings that are mind-linked to her jump pack. She wasn't born with them nor did she grow them.
B. Sanguinius had wings, and even the Emperor said Sanguinius was perfect by all standards. Even Perturabo - fucking PERTURABO - could find no flaw in him. Why would a Living Saint having a blessed gift present in one of the Imperiums greatest heros be anything less than glorious?
>>52182652
Then why doesn't anyone else have this technology in the entire imperium? The wing jump pack seems like it would be a pretty big deal for the Blood Angels and Dark Angels.
Is it an ancient relic bestowed upon her? Is it some bespoke creation gifted to her by the Ad Mech? If it's the latter why has nobody else gotten this magnificent gift of wings?
If I was looking to run a high lethality (ala dark heresy or WFRP) Cold War game, is there any system that would work well?
>>52182593
Call of the Void: Ballad of the Laser Whales. The base game only has weapons statted up to late WWII, but it's pretty easy to stat later weapons (there are already most iconic guns up till the mid 80s statted by fans). It's a d10 dice pool based game with pretty realistic gun combat that can be very lethal if you're not smart and well prepared.
>>52182593
Literally anything. Items, skills, NPC's are all just texture. Shadowrun for example. You're not shadowrunners, you're spies. You don't have blade hands, you have a switchblade. You're not infiltrating corporations, but government buildings.

Woo icecream!
>>52182510
Already done by my DM.
Expensive as all hell, it's not easily made.
Now if magic got involved, I suspect that would be different but it seems to be a bit limited.
Oh man that sounds great, I love ice cream.

So how does your girlfriend feel about your love for tabletop?
Is she a fan too, or does she shit on it?
I want the robots to go back to their own board.
>having a girlfriend
A girlfriend would significantly cut into my mini painting and shitposting time.
>>52182164
Both my wife and my girlfriend enjoy board games. Which is nice as I can use them as play testers.
They also enjoy cosplay and larp.
Have you (or any of your players) ever gotten into a romance with one of your enemies? How did it go?Were you able to redeem your waifu/husbando with the power of love?
>>52181821
I had a player (not a bard but a swashbuckler, so same thing, really) try to seduce a salamander. In D&D, salamanders are a genderless species that reproduces with only one parent laying eggs, so I ruled there really was no reason for them to have a notion of romance or lust.
I must add that the players were imprisoned for some time as gladiator-slaves an efreet city, and that the salamander was the efreet's underling-in-chief.
But then the (already very charismatic) swashbuckler critted on her roll, so heck. She managed to confuse the salamander a lot. Since they saw a lot of "her" (I had given "her" a female-ish name and my language has no neutral pronoun), the swashbuckler continued flirting, and... well, nothing really happened because the salamander wouldn't have a notion of anything happening. But the confusion sure was ingrained in "her" for good.
This campaign ended, but since they spared her and they parted on terms as good as can be between technical foes, I suppose the salamander guard might have gone plane-hopping in the end, searching for her seducer, trying to understand whatever "she" was feeling.
>>52181821
Do salamanders have a notion of friendship? certain other salamanders they can rely on and consult during tough times?
>>52182287
They're evil but have regular to high intelligence and can be organized, so I suppose, yes, they can have social links and affinities. Even villains can't be asses to everybody all the time.
