> There are thousands of FTL-capable species, of these, only a few dozen ambitious superpowers dominate civilized space.
Space is littered with various space stations that act as cities in themselves, ranging from vacation hotspots to research facilities to military stations.
Space stations try to survive by attacking other space station to salvage them and survive by themselves. Almost all planets are inhospitable because stations are not empires so they don' t have resources to do so.
Psychic powers do exist and many belive that they resonates with unknown deep space and points of no return.

There was this girl in my group who was playing an elf ranger.
and someone else playing a human wizard.
It was a low magical setting where casting was meant to be done behind closed doors and softly so not to pull down chaos and evil.
The wizard was like. "Heck no" this stuff is amazing they whole world can be made better if we use it to help everyone.
He got beaten up alot. Stabbed, burned, thrown, crushed. Brink of death a few times. But his unwavering hope pulled him and the rest of the party though all the shit the gm threw down.
He was scared to fuck too. But was forever going on and on about how
>We have the power the change the world.
>We have to help. Anon with your sword skills and elfs bow there isnt nothing that can stop us.
>We have healer on our side too. Hes a man who has battled the reaper and sent him packing so many times the reaper has nightmares about him.
>The healer even got mad at him saying he was calling him by the wrong name before he looked down at his sheet and saw that the wizard was right. Fuck knows how that happend
I still remember this as if it really happens, like its clear as if we where there on the battlefield
>he was pinned by a war toll.
>His hp points bleeding away
>"Hahaha go on huzma beg, beg for your life"
>"I don't have enough time left for that. But im not worried, because I have elf"
>he turns to her
>"Shoot"
>She shakes her head no in RL. Dons't even speak
>You can do it. I trust you
>Natural 100. Another roll added off the top of the table.
>The arrow passes though the wizard and hits the war troll in the heart.
>I never even doubted you for a moment
Even I WANTED to kiss him at that moment.
>Elf ranger starts to follow him around like a lost puppy.
>All the party did.
>He would say things like "Hey anon, what would be the best way to approach these road blocks"
>NPC elfen lady bard starts hanging around. Stats and birth put our elf to shame.

Hi /tg/
So I went to my first draft last night. I've only been playing mtg for about 2 months, but decided it was time to draft. I've been doing Thursday standards at this store for a while and they don't do standard on Fridays so yeah.
So, I bought sleeves, and paid to draft. 18$ for the draft and some 6$ sleeves. 24$. Just finish shuffling and put my deck down for opponent to cut. He reaches out and knocks a good ~600 mL CUP (as in no lid) directly into the open-sleeve section of my deck, and all over myself. Jeans, hoodie, etc. Due to the volume and angle, not a single card was saved, as the whole deck was engulfed in a very sticky and sugary fountain pop. Since they were just draft cards I chose to dive out of the way instead of trying to save them, which was probably the right move anyway, since I still got fucking soaked and therefore would have been a LOT worse, and the deck still would have been destroyed.
Anyways so the guy who does it seems to be a regular there. Also has some mental deficiency. I feel bad, i've played against him many times. I know he's a spaz but I try to be nice. It's very obvious he's challenged. Anyways, the dude didn't apologize, and as i'm sitting there facepalming, sort of like pic related, I saw him run up to get what I assume was paper towel. Nope, refilling his drink which he brought back and put right where the old one was. LoL. Can't make this shit up, seriously.
So anyways I was supposed to play this guy. And at this point i'm ready to go home. OH BY THE WAY. It was game 1 match 1. Hadn't even started. Anyways I try to get up and go tell the people who work the counters what happened. But since the fucking idiot was also the guy I was supposed to play, he kept following me. So I couldn't say to the counter people, "hey some fucking retard just ruined my fucking deck and spilled pop all over the table and myself and I don't feel like resleeving, actually to be honest they won't resleeve anyway since they're covered in pop"
Damn short comments allowed.
So anyways the dude is following me around and he seems very impatient and annoyed that our game is being delayed. He is too retarded for me to tell him "I'M NOT PLAYING WITH YOU, ALSO YOU LOSE"
So anyways I end up very slowly resleeving (actually I did make him resleeve my deck), and yeah it was hilariously bad. All the cards were like wet paper towel. Everything destroyed. Some cards wouldn't come out of their original sleeves.
I ended up getting a laugh by sitting there and letting him 2-0 me by me playing only lands.
Oh by the way, the only reason I actually didn't leave, was because I brought a buddy with me, and it was his first time ever playing magic in real life. So I had to stay for him. He also pulled a cryptic command in his draft, fucking lol.
Why am I telling this story? I wan tot know how I should go about being recompensed. I requested for the store to give me free entry into next week's draft. Manager's back on Tuesday. I explained that if it was anyone else in the store, i'd settle it personally with them, but they guy who spilled on me is actually mentally deficient and has no sense of responsibility, and they say they understand.
Am I going about this the right way? I just want to get reimbursed. Make things fair...
Srsly guys, i'm sure some of you have seen something like this happen or had it happen to you. How was it dealt with? I need to know... I can't shake this kid down for all he's worth, since i'm pretty sure it's not much. And he doesn't understand responsibility and stuff. But I feel like the store shouldn't let him have drinks on the table or something...
>>55185837
>So I couldn't say to the counter people, "hey some fucking retard just ruined my fucking deck and spilled pop all over the table and myself and I don't feel like resleeving, actually to be honest they won't resleeve anyway since they're covered in pop"
Why can't you? Are you some sort of passive aggressive-
>I ended up getting a laugh by sitting there and letting him 2-0 me by me playing only lands.
Oh, right.
Next time, just tell the counter people what just happened and ask to be reimbursed. Let them sort it out.

First for the DAWI. Take back the HOLDS LADS
I might be mistaken, but it seems that Saurus Scar-veteran on Carnosaur works better as a unit-supporting general than Saurus Oldblood on Carnosaur. He is also 40pts cheaper. Am I wrong? Did I miss any Saurus Oldblood on Carnosaur secret potential?
Allegiance: Seraphon
Leaders
Saurus Scar-Veteran on Carnosaur (240)
- General
- War Spear
- Trait: Mighty War Leader
- Artefact: Coronal Shield
Skink Starpriest (80)

Behemoths
Troglodon (180)
Total: 1000/1000
Also if my army has both ORDER and SERAPHON allegiance, can I mix the allegiance abilities or I have to stick with only one set of abilities? Defiant Avengers seems to be a great battle trait but I prefer Seraphon command traits and artefacts

Well said brother!!
What exactly did Beren do to get Silmarill aside from having competent allies?
Also, is the book any good?
>>55185569
I wish to know too. I saw the Children of Hurin at a Value Village, and while overly priced, I did want to buy the book. Are these books good?No anti-Tolkien crap please, we can get that in the tax policy bait threads. If you have an actual complaint though, then go a head.
>>55185569
He had the balls to call the elf king's bluff. Though I guess that too can be attributed to how beautiful and lovely and amazing and wonderful and beguiling and radiant and compelling Luthien was.
>>55185605
Legitimate complaint: Beren can take no credit for retaking the Silmaril. It wasn't him who devised the plan, it wasn't him who fought Morgoth, and best he could do to fight Carcharoth was to feed him his hand.

But I DO like jumpchain. It's a really interesting concept. I just think I could make it a more writefag-friendly environment.
>>55185296
Again, I'm not saying everyone should do what I'm doing. If you like making OP jumpers, make OP jumpers. *I* have an OP jumper. I'm just saying that from a writefag's perspective, OP jumpers are boring.
>>55185371
You aren't allowed personal opinions. All opinions are either universally positive or an attempt to end jumpchain, and must be considered declarations of fact. Everyone knows this, Anon.

Dammit, you're right! My opinion is wrong, and therefore heresy! Emperor damn it!
Well lads, it's time for the final round of the /tg/ roster poll.
A few more choices to be made to finalize our lineup for the upcoming Autumn tournament.
Poll can be found here:
goo gl/forms/tC3tkrbYRGPeEoDs2
For reference, the results of the second round:
Doomrider and newbie Stat Me (who will look like an owlbear) will be our gold players.
Thin Your Paints and THAT FUCKING GUY will be silvers.
Emprah and Tankred will defend the goal.\
We're also upping our draconic power by signing Dunkelzahn himself, who will be replacing America-san.
>>55184932
>>55184932
The Emperah will be returning to the Golden Goal, but we need your votes to tell us who you want on the field. No need to delay lads.
We've received a decent pile of responses so far.
Be sure to have a say in the representation of our board in the Cup.
We wanna look good while competing in what looks like the most stacked babby tournament in 4cc history.
He's a big guy.
For you

I remember Guilliman's designer saying that they invented his life-support suit so there was a reason for him to be huge, and yet he's still dwarfed by the Daemon Primarchs. What're they going to do when they inevitably bring the other loyalist Primarchs back? Not everyone can have a life support suit.

it would be nice if there is a 30k - 40k model comparison
