All right /tg/, hit me up with all your dumb, useless and/or funny magical items.
So far I've given my one of my players a magical ring, which he hasn't worn yet, because he doesn't know what does it do.
The magical effect is that the ring will just slip off your finger on it's own if you wear it.

Everything (or close to it) in faction works. Multiple playstyles, lot of options, great internal balance.
>Convergence
If recent tournament results are taken as gospel, the best faction in the game. Very limited on choices, though, as they're a limited release faction, and will get little-to-no more models.
>Skorne
Strong now, lots of options, most of the faction is functional now.
>Minions
Competitive but limited options, and of those limited options only a handful are particularly good.
I'd suggest Retribution, as it's just *good* and has a lot of things to do -- if you like the aesthetic, at least.
Convergence and Minions are perfectly fine, you've just got a couple of core builds, and that's all you'll play.

I've never played a RPG in my life (closest I've got was probably playing Hero's Quest when I was a kid) but I would like to give them a try. It already covers the general weapons used, and is highly lethal (especially if you're not wearing armor)
You'd just need to stat out some specific vehicles. vehicles are quick to stat out, and you could whip up everything you need for a WW2 campaign in half an hour.

Any ideas for my Ninja (Shadow Monk) character? So far I throw Kunai and do ninja handsigns when I cast my spells. I also run like a Naruto so that's pretty cool. As weeby as it sounds I wish I could use a Longsword (fluffed as a katana obviously) but for that I'd go Kensei from Reforged.

just got back into 40k (okay not really I played a few games 13-14 years ago in middle school before getting hard into WHFB), 7th edition seems fine by me but I know 8th is coming out.
