Abaddon doesn't use its full power through. He can unleash Drach'nyen and suck in a portion of its power to empower himself but that's a dangerous process that might end with the daemon either killing Abaddon or possessing him.

My speculation is that Abaddon will merge with the Daemon to fight the awakened Emperor or some Emperor blessed champion that is not named Celestine because she sucks.

How does it invalidate anything? The daemon is sealed in the form of the sword and Abaddon won't let it go anywhere. He won't let it go after the Emperor unless he was there. So to beat Drach'nyen you have to beat its owner Abaddon and then get rid of the sword.

There's a point in which real-world actions can't be forgiven just by coming out and being like "but I addmited it, so everything is cool now, right?" If I wouldn't let this person around my younger siblings, I'm not going to pretend to be friends with them anywhere else.

That is a tough decision, and I don't envy you.

First and foremost, are there any kids at your house? If there are, that's a non-starter. He probably isn't even supposed to be there if there are.

On the one hand, he is going to his therapy, and might be making an effort to manage his shit. He might also be getting individual counseling or taking meds, hard to say. But if he's making an effort, it is possible that regular contact with people in a non-threatening environment could be good for him. If he's being cool and not a dick, you could give him the benefit of the doubt. he did come clean with you after all.

On the other hand, if he relapses, you and all your gaming pals could wind up in a bunch of drama at best. Worst case scenario, you could end up with honest-to-ghost legal issues.

I dunno if we're the right people to answer this question. You need more info. Maybe he has a probation officer or counselor you could talk to? You should find out what the risks to you and your group could be before you decide. What you don't know can hurt you really badly.

If it were me and my group, he'd be out. No choice. Two of my players (one of them being my wife) were victims of sexual predators when they were kids. They wouldn't put up with him for a second once they knew.

They do have the cutest girls. And an aspect that kind of makes sense - using stealth to get close to a target, and then taking advantage of their heavier armor and melee weapons to do serious damage. Not just screaming like a banshee.

I saw an 1850 game on Friday where it was Ynnari Eldar vs Orks and the Orks player tabled the Eldar player in turn 3 and only lost 1 model. Absolutely ridiculous, especially knowing that the orks player is actually pretty decent

I played in a setting once where one of the most prevalent gods was a a good aligned god of death. Most of his clerics were well versed in necromancy (Although they preferred spirit stuff over more corporal un-dead)). Their battle cry was " The dead shall protect the living!" It would not be uncommon that if a village or town was being threatened, then a cleric would summon a host of spirit soldiers to assist in defense.

My character was a knight, who was slain in defense of his brotherhood's fortress when it was attacked by a horde of demons. In the afterlife, he met with the god, who offered him a choice. Move on to my eternal rest, or take back up my weapon, and continue to fight in the name of the righteous dead. So I became my partys spooky skeleton paladin.

If I'm a High Elf with booming blade cantrip...

Mate, unless they are very specific cards, most of them are completely worthless.
Nothing from Alpha is really worth anything, unless it's a Lotus, Dual or Ancestral Recall. You might be able to sell a few of them, like Lightning Bolt or Dark Ritual, for a few bucks to a collector, but that's it.
For Pokémon, unless it's the actual first printrun, nothing is really worth a lot. If you have certain cards like Charizard from the first print, you have some money there, but not much.

If you are in Europe, go to magiccardmarket, sift through your stuff and list the cards that are worth something. Bundle everything else in medium sized bundles (like 50 cards of a color for example), top it off with one mildly interesting card like Lightning Bolt and sell the pack on ebay for a few bucks.

You're never gonna make the money back on them, simply due to the issues of profit margin relative to their actual value and shipping cost.

Your best bet is going to calculate their bulk worth(taking into account their condition), ask 75% of it or best offer, advertise on Craigslist or through your local Classifieds, and walk away happy with getting 50% from some local sucker who thinks he's getting a really good deal.

pokemon cards are worthless because there is no legacy or vintage format
