I really dislike how 5e character sheet has a few line for equipment. Me and my players also get lost and barely remember what small items/ weapons we just picked up.
i just dont like that words represent items. So i created pic related to better keep track of our inventory. its not the best, but much better than what vanilla offered
How does /tg keep track of items ? are you satisfied with a bunch of words next to each other on a piece of paper ?

How does this work then? Do you use small icons to represent everything you've picked up? Do you use tokens or the like? Otherwise you're going to be using words all over the place, so I don't understand what quite you mean. Could you explain more how this works?

I use roll20. IF it's a lot of stuff (such as party equipment) I use google documents and share between everyone.

Definitely an angel. It doesn't really say how strong the angels are though, are we talking a human with wings and the immunities you listed, or the cosmic powerhouses that the Bible describes them as? Also, what counts as causing suffering and harm? Can I smite evil, or must I be a pacifist?
Either way, immortality gives me an eternity to improve my skills and find a foxy Kitsune wife. Then die because I accidentally found a Kumiho instead and couldn't tell the difference.

I know every once in a while someone will make a thread looking for info on mecha RPGs, but I've been wondering why there's never been a movement for a Gundam wargame in the vein of Infinity or WH40k (ie. Each model has associated stats and operates individually or as part of a squad to defeat a similarly-sized opposing force). UC has a pretty consistent scale of power, ignoring the obvious outliers, and the 1/144 sale range is very diverse. I feel like between /m/ and /tg/, the concentrated autism could produce a half-decent kitchen table wargame.

A lot of Gundam revolves around characters rather than armies, or it did at first. It's about individual people and how they defined history rather than the ebb and flow of massive interstellar factions. This sort of narrative style doesn't lend itself well to a Wargame, since whole factions don't really have solid identities or doctrines.
Also, Zakku a best, Gundam a shit, though my favorite tech from the series was probably the mobile workers introduced in Iron Blooded Orphans. I'm a sucker for gritty, 'realistic' military tech.

My recommendation for /tg is The First Law trilogy by Joe Abercrombe (The Blade Itself, Before They Are Hanged, and The Last Argument of Kings)
For me, I lost all my interest in fantasy as a genre a few years ago - I grew up with 3e D&D and never really liked it but it was the only real game my friends would play with very little exception. I was never huge on Mistborn or ASOIAF and never had much interest in Tolkien but I'd always go along and play my elves or sorcerers or elven sorcerers because I just enjoyed RPGs and didn't have a ton of options locally. By the time I got out of High School, I had more or less dropped TTRPGs entirely due to a lack of interest in playing one more swords-and-sorcery game.
About a year and a half ago I was in the book store and thumbing through things. I ended up picking up a used copy of The Blade Itself for two dollars in good condition - I had heard some good things about Abercrombe before and needed something to read on a plane ride. I got sucked in pretty hard.
The First Law trilogy rekindled my interest in fantasy as a genre. The setting wasn't particularly interesting, but that wasn't the point - the characters were the driving factor and how they interacted with one another was something I hadn't felt like I saw in other fantasy novels too often. All in all, it was an engaging, punchy fantasy novel with some grit.
After reading through the main three books, it inspired me to take a look again at fantasy RPGs, and I have been running a game for the past two years because of it.

Absolutely! I was really surprised how well he was able to ensure that all the characters had a distinct voice. Monza's voice is really excellent I think. One of the worst things about some audio books is when a male reader has horrible female voices, but Pacey is on point for sure.
