Maybe. What did they change this time?
>>52963479
They made Gorgutz the canon winner of Soulstorm.

Ah, this thing again.
Yes, they did this specifically to spite you. You can go home now.

I feel like the Argo Brigade often ally themselves with local pro-imperial rebel cells on the planets they fight on.

I'm also pulling for the Adeptus Mechanus because of that sexy phosphor but that might just be me...If we can agree to make a chem cannon be either a heavy weapon option for squads it would be unnecessary.
Also not sure if that's lore friendly.

Why do players think it's okay to intentionally ignore plot hooks
The shit that I planned is going to have more thought put into it than whatever I had to improv because you "felt like going west" this week
>>52960636
Have you tried telling them that?
>>52960636
Did you try talking to them? Maybe they ignored you hook because they 1) didn't like the look of where it was leading, or 2) wanted to do something else specific.

What is the dumbest/most dangerous thing that the wizard in your party has ever done?
To start off, the party was exploring the sewers and had to cross a very rusty metal bridge. Everyone couldn't properly communicate so we all 'went first' across it. Despite everyone knowing that the bridge could collapse at the sound of a gnat's fart, the wizard took his quarterstaff and started to whack the bridge to see what would happen. It collapsed and we fell into a river of shit water, which almost resulted in the fighter and paladin drowning because of their armor.
Mind you, the player was not a troll or That Guy, he was just genuinely this stupid.
Cast her Burning Hands spell in the face of a spider approaching her, neglecting the fact that the entire rest of the party was stuck in its web. She dealt more damage to the party than the spider ever did.
The party necromancer/lich used a high tech atom gun which he barely understood how to use on a 50ft mechanical monstrosities' open power core, naked, and essentially nuked the surrounding area, destroying both himself and the machine, laughing madly the entire time.
Being a lich, he got better, and mentally scared the noc that was with the party in a bunker, where the party kept the liches phylactery safe.
There were golf claps al around from the party.

A conquest-happy king, with a close cadre of his most trusted advisors. Essentially the reverse-Immortan Joe.
He wants to conquer all his neighbors, and crush any resistance, and will fucking slaughter raider factions without mercy, but he does it because he wants to make a new society better than the ones that lead to the world's destruction.
Kinda like the Emperor of Mankind, except he actually practices what he teaches. IE: no slavery, no murder of civilians, no torture. Just excessive amounts of propaganda and patriotism so that the citizenry just wants to go out there and conquer and liberate everything.

How does your magic interact with the dead?
Does it allow you to see the manner of someone's death?
Can you make zombies, and if so, how much do I have to pay you to do a Thriller reenactment?
True necromancy is bad PR. Why press your luck with shitty magic when you can wrap a corpse around an anthroform endoskeleton?

The difference being that pre-CFD, all the nanoware used to construct everything was multi-purpose - like using a swiss army knife when you only needed scissors.
Then when CFD came along, it could consume the nanites physically and create more of itself, but it could also send signals to the multi-purpose nanites from a distance and have the same effect.
Post-CFD, corporations realised their fuckup, and not only reduced the number of ways that nanites could be hijacked and converted, but also turned nanohives and nano-fabrication units into black boxes that would destroy themselves before you could get a good look at (or change) their internal workings.

>How was your world created?
The Lords of Law emerged from cosmos and settled to a new, undeveloped world. From the primordial ooze they drew and evolved mankind, and many other races and creatures, into a perfect world of their design, where all had its place and the nature revolved like clockwork.
They taught all the people their own perfect "language of Law", which is why common tongue is spoken just about everywhere, even without an accent.
We speak that language in our world too, but because this is a far more chaotic place than my setting was in its primordial origins, the language of Law isn't very popular. It'sEsperanto.
Of course, eventually Chaos busted in and started to wreck shit.

Okay writefags, time to get your shit together, because it's Friday and we need stories!
This is a thread for creative writing of /tg/-related fiction, so epic campaign greentexts and the like go elsewhere. If you have /tg/ related stories to post, post them here, and hopefully some kind anon will give you feedback (or at least acknowledge that someone did actually read it, which let's face it is what writefags really want).
If you don't have a story ready then I and other anons will be posting pictures throughout the thread for you to test your writing skills on. This is, more or less, a world-building and character-building exercise: two vital skills for playing roleplaying games. If you don't have any pics to post, you could try posting an idea for a setting or a character, and maybe someone will be willing to write a story using it. It's also an exercise in writing though, where writefags can try out their material and gain inspiration, so if you just want to talk about world-building save it for the world-building threads.
Remember that writefags love to have feedback on their work. Writing takes a long time, especially stories that go over several posts, and it can be really depressing when no one even seems to read it (and the writer won't know you read it unless you leave a comment).
And since writing takes a long time remember to keep the thread bumped. Pics are good, feedback is better.
There is a discord for writers:
https://discord.gg/6AwKHGF
The previous thread can still be found in the archive here
>>52700556
if you have any comments about the stories posted there.
And finally, don't forget to check out past stories on our wiki page:
http://1d4chan.org/wiki/Storythread
>>52950831
Posted this story in the last thread but didn't get a lot of feedback from you guys. So I'll repost it:
On a stone pillar resting in the trough of a dried-out lakebed, past the place where the Earth embraces the Sky, past the Mirror-Fields, past even the most distant locales both verdant and poor recorded by the dream-sages of times long past, I read the sole surviving record of a man who originated from a place even farther. His name, the stele told me, was Attsi. This is what he had to say:
“Attsi,
The man who came from the Eternal Rice Fields,
The man born in transit between two worlds,
The man that lifted and carved this stone,
Slayed tenscore red-eyed men from Orin, and
Returned to his home to find it swallowed by the flow
Of the capricious tides that gird the rice-paddies.
So great was his sorrow,
So great was his grief,
So great was his loss,
That he vowed to never return to his family’s home, and
Left the Fields forever.
This land,
Which has no birds,
Which has no trees,
Which has no things that treadeth the earth or sky,
Shall be the place that he dies.
May the waters of this planet remain still,
May life spring from his chest,
May they tread this planet in the bliss, and
Contentment that never came to Attsi”.
No water can be found for miles around. Yet, there are trees that hum with life and birds that raucously shout their praises to the heavens. What cannot be found, however, is any sign of the warrior who called himself Attsi.
Good old fashioned Dawi edition.

GW seems hell-bent on giving everyone plate armour, even the most basic infantryman must have plate in the new setting.

Those actually look more or less the same.

The models for these dudes have chainmail and a helmet.
Only Hammerers and Ironbreakers have plate. Also the Ironbreakers woth guns, and new Longbeards. Some old Longbeards also had plate though.
The only major change Dwarfs ever had was when GW tore down Marauder and burned it.
