So a bunch of rando Serbs decided to make an animation out of Love Can Bloom (Seen here: https://youtu.be/jkj8KmxYpkQ). And while that sucks, it is decent quality animation work I think.
Ignoring the taint of LCB, we might be able to get other, more deserving /tg/ stories than Love Can Bloom animated. I nominate spamming Gav and Bob at them until it's properly immortalized.
We can't let sub par romance represent us.

Gav and Bob should definately be made into a comic or sumthing. It provoked a feel from me and I don't get those often.
Not about eldar waifus, doomed to die with maybe six posts of feeble begging.
>>52985223
Not even that.
Hello /tg/, perhaps you can assist me with this conundrum.
I have a player with ambitions to take over the known world. He has the appropriate tools to do so, and has already cemented his grasp over a moderate sized region.
There are several problems that come along with this.
- His character no longer has a reason to sally forth and adventure. His subordinates can handle most challenges I throw the party's way.
- He's splitting the party. His reign could be described as neutral evil with extremely good public relations. The player's expertise at getting others to see things his way is the only thing that's prevented the party from totally fracturing, and that thread is starting to wear thin.
Should I just break up the group into two parts (those for and against the character)? Should I tell him to roll a new character? Should I deus-ex his empire into the ground?
The system is 3.5, and I'm happy to answer any questions that can help clear this issue up.
Pic somewhat related to the character in question.
Necromancer with an army of undead march from the underdark. have fun bud.
maybe it's time for a Tarrasque?
>>52983200
>>52983213
So a deus-ex is really the only option at this point? I feel a little bad knocking over his sandcastle, he put a lot of work and thought into it.
Do you hate Ultramarines?
>>52982893
Only if they don't share the hot Eldar ass.
Not really but when they are in large groups they are a bit of an eye sore.
>>52983189
Ugh, looks like one of those weird lichens or molds that's brightly colored and will give you a rash when you touch it.

What if instead of being all like "We must enslave or kill all untermench non-humans!"
what would that look like /tg/?
We must secure the existence of our people and a future for human children.
oh fiddlefucks it I forgot the part of him being less of an ass between killing non-humans and what it would look like
I remember some guy a long time ago throwing up a list of plausible Zarusian sub-cults which was neat.
OTOH anyone who actually wanted to play a Zarus worshiper in game would seem so unbearably edgy I don't think I'd be down for it.
So a lot changed in the shooting phase
https://www.warhammer-community.com/2017/04/30/new-40k-shooting-phase-apr30gw-homepage-post-4/
thoughts on this latest development?
I for one am stoked that cover save is now an active modifier, not something you only get if your armour isnt good enough.
also general 8th edition chat
>>52982563
The fact that units with pistols can shoot in the shooting phase while locked in combat is huge, that meens that after you get assaulted by assault marines, your also gonna get fucking shot by them
Also stooked for the fact that cover now adds to your armour save rather than giving you a cover save, actually gives sm players a reason to use cover at all.
Does this meen jink will go away though? Because jinking was a cover save
>>52982563
Big change to anti-cover weapons. Though they still exist things like flamers do not ignore cover so will be made pretty bad at dealing with models in cover.
>>52982616
It's possibly they haven't fully released the weapon rules. Flamers could still ignore the armor modifier.
/tg/! It's a beautiful day outside. Shouldn't you be out there, turning the backyard into Mordor, or Endor, or something equally disappointing?
>>52982347
It's fucking London, I don't get 'beatiful' days you arsehole.
>>52982347
Bitch it is snowing and cold and shit's falling down out there, I don't wanna hear about this "nice day" fake news bull crap you're trying to push on me here!

It's raining and 40 degrees. This is perfect staying inside weather.
Both Tolkiens works and Warhammer Fantasy states that there are less female dwarves than male dwarves. Warhammer Fantasy especially has polyandry, but it doesn't lead to any problems or a fundamentally different society, gets basically handwaved. Don't know if any other setting does that, though the joke about female dwarves not existing and the strong focus on the males makes it always seem that way. Let's imagine that there are less females as well for this thread.
I find the idea quite interesting, but feel like this is barely explored. Doesn't seem to have much of an impact to their societies. This is why I ask you how you would properly implemented a skewed ratio of sexes within this race. Go nuts. But please contain your fetishesAlso please contain your /pol/
Some questions:
>would this lead to a matriarchic society?
>will females get more privileges or will they suffer more restrictions?
>even considered more of a rare good than a human being?
>in case of polyandry: wouldn't this make their families matrilineal?
>wouldn't less females make the numbers of their race grow even slower than for instance elves?
On a side note: I find it strange that, despite being considered a manly race, dwarves appear so sexless, so sterile in their manliness. Meaning they aren't sexy. Even ugly orc brutes can make some girls wet.
>>52982059
Fewer females dwarves than male dwarves can lead to some different outcomes. The first thing that springs to mind is Tibetan polyandry called fraternal polyandry. Brothers marry the same woman, which keeps wealth from being split up and each household has more workers and warriors. Apparently the oldest brother is head of the household.
To touch on the other points, rarer female dwarves does not automatically lead to matriarchal society. The dwarven women might suffer more restrictions since the chance of them dying or leaving might be great enough in the eyes of some dwarven societies to warrant it. I can see matrilineal descent being used but a general descent by a group of brothers could also be used. As for birth rates, it depends on how many kids a dwarven woman can have, gestation, and other factors.
This should give some ideas of how to do things.

>>52982059
Could we consider the possibility of eusocial dwarves? That is to say, their society is structured like hive insects? It's not unheard of in mammals (naked mole rats).
When will they learn?
Muscles are built naturally through a cycle of damage and healing to muscular tissue.
If a wizard directed low-damage spells at their muscles, then cast healing magic, they could reach Zyzz-tier aesthetics in hours.
Is this conceivably true?
>>52981898
That's the same logic that gave us those elaborate belt machines that rub your tummy, or saying you get stronger when people beat you up.
Point is, nah. That wouldn't work - I like it, but it wouldn't work!

Shit dude. It's like you think the warp is real and needs to follow real physics.
We're in 8th edition and they don't even allow the battlefields to have mud now.
>>52966907
Machine-spirits bruh.
>>52967295
But the warp IS real. Sorta.
Drawing your characters for D&D. Post the info and I'll see what I can do. Pic related is an example what I can do.
8 foot muscular human barbarian wearing a bear pelt and carrying a massive rune sword. Long hair and a thick beard.
Draw my Aasimar Gnome/fighter please!
>>52981562
Gray haired, muscly dwarf cleric of Kord, wearing loose leather armor, unwashed everything, with a fixed wondrous stare and joyful smile.
So fellow fa/tg/entlemen what is your favorite type of setting and why?
I like a low fantasy not!europe with not!middleeast attached to it because you can really put a lot of different cultures together without making it too exotic.
>>52981084
I like Hitler.
>>52981084
I like post apocalyptic settings, like original fallouts, also Deadlands.
Fantasy that doesn't try to be historical and attempts to consider the implications of its fantastical elements, mostly. Use of history is definitely encouraged, but I'm not that interested in straight up 'historical country with the numbers filed off'. Integrating myth and history is fucking A, though.
I'm actually fine if you really follow through on historical inspiration but it's often used as an excuse to be lazy with the setting.
Also very much there for ridiculous operatic sci-fi with galactic empires and world-spanning political betrayals and shit.
Why do so few Sororitas fall to chaos? It would be cool if we could get a new chaos faction of corrupted sororitas in 8td edition.
Because they are the faction of paladins. Divine power and all.
Generally the fluff reason is that their faith is too pure. It's not the greed and insanity of much the Ecclessiarchy or the mental reprogramming of Marines but pure, true faith.
>>52981073
>It would be cool if we could get a new chaos faction of corrupted sororitas in 8td edition.
That would continue to just make them 'Marines lite', which is an issue they've struggled with as a faction.
>>52981117
But they have boobs. Make them plastic for loyal and chaos and they will sell like butter.

How did you frighten your PCs edition.
First for I made a thread a while ago about a chick I was playing with rusing me about her evil plans that she had with the GM and it got hijacked by a Yandere-Anon and I wasn't able to ever find him since it archived and I'm wondering where he is and if he's in here
>>52981010
I wanted to make a Legendary weapon they found on an Orc highly unnerving.
I made them all make Charisma Saves and said they felt a strange sense of dread each morning. After 3 days they all agreed the weapon was cursed and threw it down the well.
It was actually a +2 Axe that didn't like not being held by an Orc. Did whatever it could (Not much) to drive away other wielders.
>>52981010
Is it true 5e has relatively bland combat, especially compared to 4e?
