G-greensting scorpion?
>Slaanesh looks like a very attractive nude woman, makes sense with his theme
>Nurgle is a gross fat dude wearing the skin of something even more disgusting, perfect
>Khorne is weaaring armor and aside from having an unusually large mouth, is what you're think of for a warlord who knows only of battle
Ok, but what the fuck is Tzeentch supposed to be? Yeah I get the floating to represent being smart in the enlightened sense and all, but other than that he's just a mess of body parts vaguely forming a humanoid shape
>>53337331
Tzeench is the lord of change and mutation, makes sense for him to be some wierd amalgamation of parts.
>>53337331
Never seen pictures of Hindi gods, have you?
>>53337331
It's a static picture, so constant Change can't be properly represented.
The ents are fucking based. They discuss for hours whether or not the decadent species of the ents should risk their lives to save the race of men, but in the end decide they can fight for themselves with no ent help. But when their friends the trees, who can not fight for themselves, are in distress no discussion is needed and they march to war even if that means they species could die.
>>53336922
You know how really old people shake their heads at kids. That's how Ents are times 1000000. They've seen Elves and Men fight wars again and again and again, repeating history each time. Why bother?
>>53337399
But when one of those kids decides to break into the retirement home and beat up a couple old folks for a laugh, it's fucking on.
>all the entwives are dead.
It fucking hit me that the ents are perhaps the last remnant of Arda left in middle earht and they will too pass away.
I didn't ask for these feels.

For your consideration: when joining a cold group, what's that one character trait, personality, class, or race that sends off immediate red flags for you?
So my -2 Con wizard is still alive, at 6th level, I'm thoroughly impressed by this turn of events.
Dear Mr. Gygax. There are too many classes nowadays. Please eliminate three.
>>53335844
>Character trait
Trait specifically made because of their race
>Personality
Chaotic x as alignment, normally the personality follows. That or quite and brooding types.
>Class
Anything homebrew
>Race
Homebrew or a race pick specifically to make a character around.
Has anyone homebrewed a blood sugar system for DND? One of my players wants to play as a type I diabetic and I'm not sure how to properly represent it
Why does your friend want to play specifically as a type 1 diabetic in a medieval fantasy setting? That seems kind of really incongruous.
I guess if you really wanted to you could make it so the character has to periodically take some kind of medicine or they suffer damage/penalties to rolls.
But really, why the hell do they want to play a type 1 diabetic?
>>53335751
it's much easier to roleplay a type I diabetic as usually they are in much better shape than the usually obese type II diabetics
>>53335708
After con rounds of heavy exertion they make a fort save vs DC X. If they make it their body is fine. If they fail, they are sickened until they eat nutritious food. If they sustain the exertion past 2x con rounds, they have to make a DC x+5 roll or become Exhausted until they eat and rest a number of minutes equal to con.
If at first you don't succeed, try, try again.
Let's talk about Battle Century G.
BCG is a mecha RPG with a heavy focus on "genre emulation," where the giant robot battles play out like they would on the screen in a show or vidya. Whenever the subject of mecha RPGs comes up, multiple anons WILL eventually recommend it.
And the shilling is pretty well deserved. The combat system plays fantastically fast, and mecha construction is based more around spending points and selecting special effects, fluffing them how you want with all the technobabble you desire, instead of working as an engineering simulator trying to calculate and balance hardpoint spaces, weight, power, ect.
BCG works best for campaigns where the PCs each have personal signature mecha that they upgrade over time. The biggest flaws of the system, in MY opinion, are it doesn't handle campaign styles where mecha are just vehicles that all perform the same barring customization and PCs can acquire any number of completely different machines they can hop into whenever very well, and that a pilot's skill doesn't matter one lick in mecha combat, only a PC's genre powers have any affect on how mecha battles play out, which creates something of a disjointed experience if you think about it too much.
Discussion kickoff:
Are there any good fan resources for this game? More weapons, upgrades, powers, campaign resources ect? Google fails to bring up much of anything but people hyping it up but not actually creating anything NEW for it.
I want it. Got any PDFs?

The author gives away the SRD for the game for free. Otherwise if you want a PDF of the full book it's not TOO difficult to find via google, I'd rather avoid posting the link I found directly since lately I've noticed a lot of links on /tg/ have been getting DMCA'd.

who's your favorite big dumb beatstick?
>>53327345
I've got a special place in my heart for Treva.
She's probably the worst of the original Invasion dragons, but she's my favorite.
>>53327367
>She's probably the worst of the original Invasion dragons
Despite darigaaz being incredibly powerful in the book his card is easily the worst invasion dragon
Plus treva has that fucking incredible promo
Doesn't get much bigger and dumber.
Have you ever completed a successful campaign with tough moral choices for the PCs?
I've completed about three campaigns and none of them had much in terms of these. Our group doesn't really play for their sake.
>>53326577
I find it hard to intentionally insert moral dilemmas into games without it coming across as forced and video-game-y, but the last arc of one campaign I'm running accidentally had the most difficult moral choice my players have ever faced: It nearly ended in pvp.
Long story short, the players were hunting down the leader of a cult who was attempting to wrest control of the underworld from the mob-boss that the PCs worked for. When they find the dude, it turns out he's one of the player's long-lost father (I guess it's more accurate the say she is the long-lost daughter). So the villain and the girl talk, and he tell her he regrets losing her, and offer her a place at his side if she helps him take down the mob. One of the other players took beef with this because he was loyal to the mob-boss. There was a couple rounds of tension where no one was really fighting that culminated in the monk being in position to attack the villain, the girl asking him to wait and talk, and the loyal one telling him to hurry up and choose.
In the end, he attacked, they killed the villain, and the girl had to run away. The monk followed her to ask what the hell just happened while the loyalist finished off the villain. The monk let the girl go, and even brought her belongings to her so she could escape the city. Suffice to say, that player is rolling up a new character for the next time we play, but the loyalist is paranoid that she's going to come back and attack him.
Certainly wasn't good-end, but I think it was likely the best way that situation could have gone. I'm just thankful all my players are okay with this type of game.
One time we faced a demigod BBEG witch whose power could only be broken if she were raped.
