What is esr? I have many iso I can put up
>>763563
If you have a memorycard with the FreeMCBoot exploit on it, you can use ESR to launch burned games that are ESR patched.
It's super easy to patch and unpatch games to be compatible with ESR. Just use the ESR gui v0.24 patcher.
you can grab it here
http://www.theisozone.com/downloads/playstation/tools/esr-disc-patcher-gui-v024a-usa/
Which games do you have?
>>763563
If you have Crash Wrath of Cortex as a working ISO instead of a BIN and CUE set up I will love you long time
>>763598
Better ESR link

Nobodys posting Killzone. But i think i have it still ripped on my laptop
Oh man there was one that was about a hotel and it was like survival horror and had like mental health as your health bar. it was great
>>763727

if so: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gregory_Horror_Show_(video_game)

Thanks. I recently bought a bunch of GTA games for the PS2 and Vice City was missing the disc. Haven't heard back from the seller since they told me they'd look for the disc after I told 'em it was missing. Pic related; is my disc-less cover :(
>>763685
If you still have it feel free to post it, if not I can just nab a copy or rip my own (although it's pretty scratched)

ESR is a dang waste. HDD mod your PS2. Can be done for both fat and slim, but fat is the easiest.
>>764762
I've got a fat one (heh) actually and a network adapter. Instead of dealing with an IDE drive or the hassle of modifying it to run with a SATA drive I'm thinking of hooking up an external drive to a Raspberry Pi and using the network connection. But, as I already had a stack of DVDs lying about, ESR was the quickest way to go.
>>765034
ESR and SMB both have lag issues when playing most games. Another advantage of HDD is loading times. Also, only go SATA if you cannot find a 500gb IDE for $25 cheaper.
Just get pcsx2. Using actual ps2 is a waste of time.
>>763845
My ps2 is missing cables so i want a iso so i can play it on my laptop
Just use an iso from this site on to a ps2 emulator. I recommend PCSX2.
https://www.emuparadise.me/Sony_Playstation_2_ISOs/Games-Starting-With-A/41
Please don't use an old build its shit.

Please go here to get pcsx2.
Oh and check out Emugen on /vg/.
Anyone got any of the Dragon Ball Z games?
I'm looking for the japanese Train Simulator serie ISOs. Anyone?
>>765446
I have a grey slim one but it hasn't been turned on for close to three years now,I hope it doesn't explode, last emulator I used was the PSX for Windows XP
>>771692
If memory serves, the grey/silver ones are all model SCPH-9XXXX, wherein the exploit that allows you to run FreeMCBoot was fixed. You would need some other exploit to run ESR on that.
>>763093
Do you have Twinkle Star Sprites or any other shumps?
And how do you get patched iso's to play on your hard drive
>>770831
seconded
>>765446
For some rhythm games (like beatmania IIDX) it's better to play on console.

Anyone have a list of absolutely must-haves for PS1 & MAME roms I just got a working epsxe again
joining the army soon & want to bring along a laptop loaded up with some old school games that everybody would be able to play/pick up while relaxing & just have a good blast
does having only two controllers put a damper on things or should I get a multitap as well
>>763370
motherfuck yes
guitar hero 3
>>776549
2 controllers is fine but if you want CTR's 4 player goodness invest in a multitap
my ps1 list is wip but here is a link to it since its 2hueg for 4chan. there are a lot of titles but go to fighters, platform/puzzle and racing to find most classic ps1 games people remember and good multiplayer ps1 games you can have fun with too

>>777864
is that controller home made or you can buy it like that?
>>777865
That controller is part of a development unit. Runs on old PC architecture so they'd need a cable like that to connect the controller to test their fresh builds in dev.
TLDR: Not home made, if you looked around you could buy one but probably not get any use out of it.
>>777868
yeah youre kinda right with the usage part cause you can easily config an xbox 360 controller with ease but never seen a controller like that though
>>777881
You can just buy an original PSX controller and a usb adapter if you want that form factor form using on a PC or RetroPi build
>>765446
isn't the emulation of PS2 still horrible or did the crashes & bugs finally get iron'd out from when just loading up Ape Escape 2 crashed the system
>>778269
Have you been living under a rock since 2010?
PS2 emulation has been good for almost a decade, I was able to run everything I wanted to without any issues or slowdown on my last CPU and GFX card...
>>763095
Any one have the first version of this game? I don't want this one.
does anyone have a magnet for a fully set up PS2 emulator?
It's always been a pain in the ass to set one up
>>780440
What's up with this one? If its the ESR patch, you can pretty easily unpatch it
tanqs you
>>763429
can you not read
Always wanted a copy of Mr. Mosquito 1 and 2 for PS2... I see them on eBay, but don't want to pay $60-$100 for a PS2 title...
