With the surge in popularity, it's simpler to find the easily stolen files or look up general recommendations about what/who to try. It's also easier for dommes to knock down as much illegal sharing as possible. That balance has, for the most part, been struck.

I don't know. Filesharing sites(or rather, sites that accomodate filesharing) have had(and still has, on an on/off basis) more neutral discussion that isn't just uncritical praise. I've seen people discuss tists, the experience of going under, which techniques they like, fantasies, etc. in many different places. Most notably /r/erotichypnosis and Hypnochan. I think you've got a large group of lurkers that frequent a multitude of sites, committing to none. It might be way off, and optimistic bordering on naive, but I have this notion that if you could just gather all these people in one place, and offer an environment that's worth sticking around in, you could actually have that discussion and sense of community.

Even if you could get all the lurkers to come to one site, you're going to run into the problem of "is this place friendly for subjects, or friendly for content producers?" Find some tracks and listen. Practice getting into trance. I was searching the other day and found some tips on reddit that were helpful. So, you could then record yourself repeating these phrases. Chop them up and edit them together into an mp3 file. This mantra could be layered with a track that is commanding you to "repeat after me." After a few minutes of this, you'd be told to stop stroking.
