I am the Ebook Anon, and just a heads up: the magnet link to 'all the books you'd ever need..." will not work. I couldnt get that torrent to function properly so I divided what the collection would be into the 5 ebook torrents below it on the list.

Gotta say, I love the idea of this information 'snowball' thats always growing larger as more people add to it. I haven't seen how the 100gb torrent looks like on the inside but I think we may need to start organzing and moderating this collection to improve its quality.

Any George R.R. Martin? Mainly game of thrones series? Im looking through the files buts its still downloading, will seed when done.

as far as I am aware there are only 17 textbooks in my collection. they are in the 'Djvu' folder (the djvu format is a unique ebook format for textbooks.) So its safe to say what you are looking for wont be in it.

What is the difference between the different ebooks sets? The 10 GB and 15 GB Ebooks seem to be the same.

the 10 gig is all .Mobi format while the 15 gig is all .Epub format. they are weird formats since they are very similar (its easy to convert one to the other) they were divided this way due to many ereaders only taking one or the other. There will be huge similarities between the two torrents since they are divisions of my larger collection. If you are looking to not have duplicates then I suggest the Epub format since I've added more to it alone since its the main format my own ereader used.

Ebook anon here, I was wondering if it would be best to use the 'superseeding' option in my client. I looked it up, and although it seems useful, it doesn't seem to help people's download speed of the torrent itself.

If Vegas Anon is reading this, I have noticed that several peers have completed the smaller ebook compilation and pdf collection. Sadly none of them have seeded these, but more importantly I am wondering which ones you have completed downloading. Yo Ebook, Vegas Anon here. Just got back from Sin City tired but no worse for the wear. Looks like I was right. PDF folder has finished so I'm now seeding that. Seems the Mobi folder will be finishing next, its at 68.2% and trickling in. Epub and RPG are at 53.5% and 27%. So it seems things are moving along well if a bit slowly.

I am not able to download the 100 gig version. what changes have been made? Also, is there anything that is 'lacking' in the collection. If so I can do some side research to see what can be added.

secondly. this collection is getting so large we may have to start worrying about cleaning it up and organizing it. What organizational methods should we use and is their a prefered way?

cataloging at this point might be the most difficult part, so I think we should focus on organization and 'cutting the fat'. For example, we dont need a cookbook pdf in two different folders (but we may want access to that pdf to be seen, so maybe never have a duplicate of a document but have shortcut files in other folders if there is a need for it.

Yo Ebook, Vegas Anon here. I've finished downloading all the sets and will continue to seed. I spent all last night trying to make a viable torrent out of the folders with no success. I'm beginning to see why you were having trouble in the first place. Every time I create the torrent it ends up being a mammoth 15mb+ .torrent file. None of my clients can even load it. I've tried fiddling with the piece sizes and a few other tricks but the smallest I've gotten it down to is 15.4mb. I know creating it is possible and its not a size or volume problem as the EYNTKE torrent is bigger and contains more files/folders. I think the problem stems from both the long file and folder names. Like:

Does anyone else have difficulties when trying to download large torrents in qBittorrent?

Before it starts downloading, it gets to a message saying "Retrieving metadata" and it stays that way for hours. If I skip it and start the download, it doesn't do anything and doesn't even show the content's size.

Epub EBook anon here, currently putting all my ebooks through calibre, and trying to make a more organized collection without duplicates. when its done it should have an organized file structure.I am not sure how to deal with the rpgbooks and files in the collection. I might just manually put them out of the author based organization and put them in its own rpg folder.

i think you are right . The more I read about the Library of Congress Classification the more I prefer it over the Dewey Decimal Classification.

So far I got all the other libraries within the collection (the enlighten gentlemen's library) taken apart and put in their right folders.

So this is what I am thinking:

The problems you might run into, depending upon the content of the images, is making your own system for classifying them and the audio.

Talking to a librarian friend and looking at my local library they seem to use loc for non-fiction and alphabetical plus genre tags on the spin.

The audio will probably be same as the books.

I haven't looked into how people formally organize images but I think we could keep the original 4chan library structure.

The inside was really messy with a few libraries within the main library.

They should really keep them around because they provide services such as computer/Internet for one hour, art exhibits and events in a spare room. They also host a community market in the plaza/parking lot every week.

They provide invaluable services in addition to being a collection books. You should consider helping them to not close.

My local library has a small bookstore that sells books people donate or rejects from the library to help keep itself afloat.

I would personally keep them in separate folders with a disclaimer. If a person knew nothing about them and then read some of the conspiracies then they could learn the basic tropes and ideas that go behind the 'conspiracies' It might be a good history lesson if real conspiracies are in there like the WMDs in Iraq, one of the Gulf of Tonkin reports or Guy Fawkes.

The magic stuff might be of some value if tied to the beliefs common to people historically.

It is completely obsolete because it is contained within the larger libraries that have been posted.
Since those are better in every way I have stopped seeding my original torrent.

I had a copy of this on windows, but my hard drive got destroyed. When I went to download this one, I got this error. I got this same type of error when I downloaded this on Win7. Why doesn't it just automatically skip the offending file, and how can I stop this from happening again?

Sorry Anons but it seems I'm the only seeder left these days. Mind you I've been seeding since thread numero uno. I've got a ratio well above 30 and since I last posted (>>675494) at least a dozen Anons have finished but not a single one has stuck around. Different anon here. Deluge worked for me on downloading the files with names too long, but I didn't have to change the name unless I wanted to either copy or move the files somewhere else. I'm on windows 7, home edition.

Just finished the download. Going full seed until I move, (~november 5th) and ofc while i'm not at work (therefore, not between 8am & 6pm london time)

So what is a good client for a Droid user? I've been using utorrent but I've seen another called Flud.

I'm trying to find a torrent or PDF for a book. It's for a class and i don't want to spend 90 bucks for a copy of it. It's called "Essentials of Skilled Helping" by Gerard Egan. Does anyone know of a place to get it or has it and could make a torrent of it? I've already scoured Google for it and couldn't find anything that hadn't been nabbed for copyright infringement already. Any help would be great.
