Well shit.
Now I don't have an excuse for being ignorant.
Can we share torrents of non-audio books?

Why don't you post some and find out
Thanks, OP
Been bored of watching TV while playing games.
If the George RR Martin books are read by Roy Dotrice, then they're awesome. I listened to all of those, Roy Dotrice really brings the story to life.
10/10 can recommend
Carlos Castaneda - The Teachings of Don Juan

Didnt want to create an entire thread for this question, but I also dont want to hijack.
How does everyone torrent their books, audio or not? /lit/ has a decent guide using an IRC but it isnt that great or reliable.

Honestly? I just Google "[book title] .epub (since I read on a Nook) download" and search around. Sure it takes a few minutes but for the most part I find what I want.

Ready Player One is a wonderful book about a world where humanity is just dying and the only escape is virtual reality.
The issue is that since Pirate Bay isn't around anymore, there aren't a lot of good torrents left. So here is every torrent of the audio book I could find and hopefully it can work for you.

What's going on?
World War Z (Unabridged), ignore the movie pretend the movie never existed and listen to this audio book. This is possibly the best version of the book, most likely because the author is dyslexic and the only reason he wasn't grouped in with mentally challenged kids was because of audio books.
It is the telling of history when the zombies first showed up, not a grim horror book, but fiction history and told extremely well.

>>646470
Not him, but 1984 is pretty boring, but that's because it was written in 1948, and back then books were long and boring. It's probably the most famous futuristic dystopia books ever, so you should probably read just for that. I never got very far with it, though.

Your torrent doesnt exist anymore so here is that
>>646669
I wouldn't say it's boring - it's certainly not even that long - but it's...slow. Don't go into it expecting gun fights and chase scenes, or really anything that you've come to expect from futuristic dystopia books.
Winston isn't a big damn hero. He's just a man. Which is the entire point. 1984 is about how rebellion would realistically work in a futuristic dystopia. It's slow. It's methodical. It's all about small, almost imperceptible rebellions, rather than big explosions or shows of force.
What's also most important to realise is that 1984 takes place when The Party is still at the height of their power. Nearly every other novel that I can think of that deals with similar themes or issues, has the ruling party or tyrant on the way out, or at least, on the long slide out of power, if that makes sense?
