alright so i own leveon bell and rashad jenning. jennings is pretty bad, and bell is now injured.

ive been offered a trade.

i get dion lewis for alshon jeffrey

currently in the WR department i have
Alshon jeffrey
Martavis Bryant (bye 11)
James Jones
TY hilton (bye 10)
Donte Montcrief (bye 10)

the guy offering the trade is number one in my league and i play him in week 11 where i will be my weakest. this dude has the strongest lineup in my league

i put in a waiver claim (3) for deangelo williams

do i take the trade?
>>
>>63272601
If PPR then yes, but it's close. Search your heart.

I really need to upgrade my WR2, and trying to package cooks and dalton together for one. Do you think Green or Cobb is too high? Maybe the Dez owner would bite?

Travis Benjamin
Rishard Mathews
Brandon LaFell
>>

Hillman and CJ?K also happen to be on the wire.
>>
What is your opinion of Eli Manning?
>>
>>63274283
how?
>>
>>63274243
not matthews. I feel like lafell is a more steady option, with benjamin and jackson more boom-bust guys with monster day potential. So, whatever you need most I suppose. If your team blows and you need lots of luck to win big games, then your best bet is to play benjamin and jackson and pray.

If you're decent, I reckon you just have to decide whether or not jackson is better than benjamin at playing the same role in your team.

No, I am just skilled, autodraft My first 4 picks leaving me with 3 qbs and edelman

I have gradually packaged and traded by acquiring players 2 weeks before a breakout and traded them for better ones, I.e. Ronnie hillman, taken off waiverwire week before 20 pt explosion, pull off the steal of the century trading him to broncos fan for gurley straight up, gurley was injured and no one but me thought he'd be this good.

Acquired James Jones, traded him karlos Williams and other shit for nuk,

Traded Rodgers for ivory and Lewis early on, and generally had faith in players who looked good and I decided to pick up. I now have a superteam in a 10 man league starting from 1st 4 autodraft. Thats how

Robert Woods

TE: Tyler Eifert

Next weeks gonna suck... last in waiver order cause even after getting ass-fucked this week I'm still in 1st, and I have to somehow come up with replacements for Steve Smith, Keenan Allen, Matt Forte, as well as pick up a defense and a one additional running back and a flex due to byes.

I'm so mad at this shit.

This year the league manager made waivers reset every week.
I am perpetually last in waiver orders because it goes by standings.

Since I remain in first, I never get anything.

I have been having injured players and I can never replace them because of this POS rule.

Can't even replace Le'Veon Bell. Might as well just leave it an open spot.

Well I'm only 1GB in front of others, yet dominating in points.
These guys have been able to build up their teams over the last 6 weeks and now their bench averages at least 10 points/player. My bench averages 3 points/player. Almost every one of them have benches that are doing better than their lineup, they just don't know how to set up their team (they keep putting in people that only score like 6 points while someone on their bench does 20).

In a few weeks, I'll be SOL. Look at the win streaks of the people following me.

Alright listen here. I know how unpopular my opinion is whenever I mention this but this shit is just fucking ridiculous. Look at this rain. Fucking look how hard it's coming down. You're telling me this shit is better than if this team was in a dome right now? Domes make it so a fucking hurricane doesn't fuck with the game. This is a 60 minute mud wrestling match, NOT football. Every single position plays better when they don't need to deal with this kind of shitty weather. QBs throw better, RBs run better, WRs catch better, defenses cover better, kickers kick better. Every single position benefits. I don't want to watch grown ass men wresting and rolling around in the mud. These guys are the absolute best in the world at what they do and we're being forced to settle for 60% of their best because the rain is fucking with them. In good weather it's 100% all the time. Why would you want to watch mediocre play when you could be watching the best possible level of play?

Give me all the shit you want I really don't care. Fuck snowbowls. Fuck hurricane games

You're looking at it the wrong way

Some players are absolutely better than others at dealing with the elements. This is a part of their skill-set. It sets them apart when the weather down and is a factor and timeless part of the sport.

Football isn't, and never has been, a game to be played in a perfect vacuum. It isn't arena league.

Ok so Le'Veon Bell is done, but I have Darren McFadden, Ronnie Hillman, and Deangelo Williams.

I'm set @ reciever with Fitzgerals and Brown (& a injured keenan allen) so maybe I'll be able to upgrade at TE, or it not even worth it?

I've just been playing scrubs there all year getting 0 production and I'm 6-2. This is the best start I've ever had in fantasy football and I really think this may be my year finally if I'm able to trade my way through Bell injury and don't want to blow it.

In this league we can also play QB in the FLEX spot, and currently I've got Derek Carr who is doing quite well but maybe I can upgrade there too for one of those runningbacks.

Start the Falcons defense vs Blaine Gabbert led 49ers or the Rams defense vs Vikings?
>>
>>63297930
Falcons vs the Dumpster fires

This is a slam dunk, no running game (bunch of guys fresh off the street), Gabbert, Boldin is banged up, Vernon Davis is gone (I think this is more of an emotional loss than losing an impact player because it signals "we've given up")

I'm starting the Rams but I'm nervous, not so much about Bridgewater, more so about the Vikings d at home shutting the Rams offense down and forcing a bunch a three and outs. I know Gurley is elite but Foles and the rest of the offense isn't and the Vikings defense is good and has home field advantage.
>>
Do I start Eagles @ Dallas or the Rams @ Minnesota?

I'm leaning Eagles for the reasons I mentioned above, and the fact that the Eagles are fresh off a bye, are leading the league in turnovers and get Matt Cassel in a neutral stadium.
>>
>>63296707
Williams is priority #1. You can find equal QBs on the waiver
>>
>>63298223
This.

But if you aren't looking to flip D Will for an upgrade immediately I don't know what to tell you. Guy is a 32 year old running back who's had injury issues in the past, who's on a team who will work him each week until them wheels fall off.
>>
>>63274610
:(
>>
Remember to grab Redskins D from waivers while you still can.
>>
>>63298244
Unless he gets hurt, Williams can maintain a season-long workload. I'd try and flip him first, too, but if you can't get good value for him he's got decent value in his own right
>>
After Bush's death who is the second RB for the 49ers?

Hayne? kek
Or the Gatorade boy
>>
>>63298262
Meh. Their best pass rusher has a broken hand, their secondary is shit, and they have a couple really tough match ups ROS, I'd rather stream each week than hold a middling defense, unless your in a deep league (14+ teams) or teams grab and hold team defenses like the one true ring.
>>
>>63298299
they just signed pierre thomas
>>
>>63298313
The fuck
Oh well, thanks
>>
>>63298299
I'm guessing Gaskins, he's maybe the pick up in a really deep league. I want nothing to do with the 49ers offense though.
>>
>>63298313
Hearing that actually PT is a alright good pick up. Good pass catching back too, which helps on that awful team.
>>
>>63298270
The issue is the odds are really favorable to him getting hurt, with his age and how the Steelers work their running backs. I just can't see him lasting 8 games with the amount of volume he'll get. If you can get a player like Jeremy Hill or Marshawn Lynch or LeGarette Blount even if you have to throw in a few pieces to get them I would do it.
>>
Should I drop Hankerson to pick up Dwayne Harris on waivers?
>>
>>63298443
I mean, Williams has only really had one significant injury in his career, it's not like he's out every season or anything.

Williams >>> Hill or Blount. Williams might be able to net you better than thatp
>>
>>63298544
Meh, Hankerson if he can stay on the field will help the offense, Roddy has one foot out the door, teams will focus on shutting down Julio which opens this up for a second receiver, last week it was Tamme only because Hank was out. Too many mouths to feed in New Yorks offense, most of the passes will be funneled to ODB, and then Cruz is coming back soon.
>>
>>63297908
7th in waiver order this week, so I might be screwed. Pays to be prepared though.
>>
Pierre Thomas or Kendall Gaskins?
>>
>>63298586
Both Hill and Blount will be heroes down the stretch as the weather gets colder. I just think D-Will is too damn old to maintain the workload the Steelers will give him.
>>
One guy is giving me Jimmy Graham for Charles Clay. My other TE is Ben Watson. What do you guys think, accept or no? I think I would accept the trade.
>>
>>63298613
Neither. The niners are ass, and won't run much.
Gaskins was the only back left alive this week, and he had 5 carries for 6 yards.
If I had to pick though, I'd say Thomas.
>>
>>63298646
If you have Watson, don't trade Jimmy for another TE. Shop him (maybe with another player) for a RB or WR.
>>
>>63298672
I meant I have Clay, the other guy is giving me Jimmy.
>>
>>63298845
Oops, I misread that. Either way, I'd stick with Watson.
>>
Do I hold onto Ameme Abdullah and wait for a fool's gold game to trade him, or just cut bait? League is 13 teams with return bonuses so I think he still has some value because some people are starting guys like Christine Michael, Reggie Bush and Buck Allen.

Now that Vernon Davis is a Bronco, is he worth picking up off the waiver. I would only really need him for San Diego's bye when Antonio Gates is not playing, but it would also be nice to have insurance in case he gets injured again.

In a 16-team league and I have Palmer as my only QB. He's off so I have the incredible choice of these motherfuckers...

Should I grab:
M. Cassel (vs Phi)

Smith might be hurt, so is whoever ends up starting, if not Fitz, an option should he not be able to go?

>>63307024
Both have looked surprisingly good in limited work.

Dallas's OL is better. Pittsburgh signed fucking Isaiah Pead as an emergency option and still have Dri Archer and Todman. Both guys are solid, your call, but I'd lean slighty DMC. Seems like Pittsburgh is setting up a slight committee, and Dallas seems to be dragging their feet about finding a replacement for Randle, giving me a bit of confidence that they trust McFadden.

It depends on how much you like Gurley and Thomas. I'd keep Green though, only because the Broncos offense is a bit of a roller coaster at times. And Forsett is gonna get more work now that Smith is out for the season.

That would probably be more detrimental to your team than his.

There's literally no reason ever to have more than one kicker unless you have someone boss like Goatkowski. kickers aren't consistent enough to warrant trying to take the next beat one from your opponent.

However, if he hasn't replaced his kicker by Friday you can do the ol' roster churn. You basically add and immediately drop every kicker in FA, thereby putting them all on a 72 hr waiver limit and rendering him unable to add one.

Roster churning is generally considered a douchebag move, however

Falcons. 49ers' offense is nonexistent, and Gabbert is starting this week.

The Niners entire gameplan the past few weeks has been offensive ineptitude that reduces the chance of turnovers.

It's so deep and position values are altered because o the 2 QB that it makes draft and waiver guides almost useless (it's auction waivers) and start/sit rankings rarely go deep enough to fill out half the lineup.

Although I started the season with Jay Cutler as well, in case any of the suspensions the league was trying to pin on Tommy Twococks Brady came around this season. Quickly Cut the Cutler though.

Any Bradyfags worried that the Patriots will end the season in such a good position that they'll bench Brady for entire halves and shit?

>Any Bradyfags worried that the Patriots will end the season in such a good position that they'll bench Brady for entire halves and shit?

nope. that's never been their MO. garrop can come in for the kneel downs and that's all.
>>
>>63318806
Not a Patriot fan and this is my first year doing fantasy football, so I'm not sure about a lot of teams besides the one I'm a fan of (and the Rams haven't been in that position in a very long time).
>>
>waiver order 2/12
>got deangelo (now have him mcfadden and mccoy)
>got aiken
>swapped tucker on bye for gould
>10th in waiver order now

just gotta pray noone gets injured this week. holy fuck senpai i killed it
>>
should I drop vjax for colston? they seem like the same sort of proposition, but it seems as if colston might finally be 100% following an injury. Obviously his last week was inflated by that insane game
>>
>9th on waiver wire
>Fuck it, I'll put in the request for Williams anyway

Had a nice surprise this morning. How the fuck did no one else in my league grab this guy?
>>
>>63318881
I'm dead last in waiver priority because I'm leading my league. Put in a claim for DeAngelo anyway.
Guy who is #2 in my league and second to last in waivers got him. I'm facing him this week. My RB1 and 3 are on byes.
Fuck everything. I fucking hate this reverse order waiver bullshit.
>>
Dalton vs Cleveland
of
Rivers vs Chicago

Barnidge @ Cincinnati
or
Reed @ New England

>tfw last on waiver
>needed coverage for Charmander
>Melvin Gordon and Ryan Mathews were the best I could get
>1-8 moron got Deangelo
>Play him this week
>He has Flacco, Ebron, Lynch, Blue, Lions D, Baldwin on byes
>and Smith Sr.
>and Percy Harvin

This will be fun.
>>
So Keenan Allen was on my team and I need a wr now so would it be smart to trade Eddie lacy for Alshon Jeffery?

>8-0, 100th percentile in espn regular leagues

>tfw the rich get richer
>>
>>63318910
I would temper expectations with Barnidge, he didn't do shit in Manziels two games this year so don't be surprised if he puts up a clunker of a game

PPR league. Was 5-0, lost 3 in a row, and this is my new starting line up.

Thoughts?

Need some advice on my WR's. For a while I was rolling with Edelman and Smith Sr and rotating my flex with what matchup was best until last week's bloody Sunday and Smith went out.

I picked up DeSean Jackson today and I'm waiting to hear back from some people about trading Eddie Lacy for a better WR. But if that doesn't happen and I'm stuck with these options, is this the best WR lineup or am I better off trying Tayvon Austin in one of my positions? Or something else?

Non-PPR/12 Team League
>>
Is this a good trade?

My Vernon Davis and Alfred Blue

For

His Travis Kelce and Brandon Marshall
>>
Well I didn't get the defense I wanted off waivers... which of these wonderful units should I grab?

Cowboys (vs Phi)
Chargers (vs Chi)
Bucs (vs NYG)
Jaguars (@NYJ)
Bears (@SD)
>>
>tfw Bengals say Hill is on the up
>tfw Bernard out performs him tomorrow night

Also what's the status on Brandon Marshall, nothing is telling me shit.
>>
>>63319977
Not that sure, but if I had to choose, probably Dallas. Haven't been paying close attention but it seems Philly's offense either is really clicking or doesn't work. Plus Dallas did really well against (what some might argue) a decent Seattle last week.

Definitely not the Bucs against 6 touchdown Eli or Chicago/San Diego.
>>
>>63319999
Gio probably won't outperform him, he's a passing down back and they'll be up huge on the Browns.
>>
>>63319966
If you have that option, take it immediately. Take it yesterday.

No-brainer
>>
Someone offered me Kamar Aiken and Travis Kelce for AJ Green.

Am I getting memed? I currently have Heath Miller as TE, and im not sure about the hype around Aiken
>>
>>63320023
That's what I was thinking. I'm an Eagles fan though and Philly always performs well in Dallas (Thanksgiving last year, anyone?)

This is a new Eagles team, but still

Looks like Colts (vs Den- NO GO), Raiders, (@ Pit), Skins (@ NE- NO GO), Saints (vs Ten), and Browns (@ Cin- Thurs) are the rest of my FA pool... maybe Saints because they're playing Ten? Possibly Raiders?
>>
Need 2 WR and a Flex.

Brandon Marshall
Antonio Brown (obviously)
Stefon Diggs
Frank Gore

James Stark @CAR

>that Cooks and Ginn Jr.
>>
>>63320061
I'm a Rams fan and from experience Sam Bradford will disappoint you more times than not, or suffer a season ending injury.

If you choose Oakland, you're betting that Rapesburger is still not firing on all cylinders, but I wouldn't do it, especially in Pitt.

I'm thinking the Bengals will dominate the Browns, they do well against teams with losing records. Maybe the Saints, but they also let Eli Manning score 6 TDs and pass for 350 yds with no interceptions. Mind you Mariotta isn't Eli, but the Saint's D isn't great.
>>
>>63320148
Oakland typically plays the Steelers pretty well. It's quite odd, they've beaten them the past few years when they've played.
>>
>>63320125

I am actually the ex owner of Cooks (dumped him out for Aiken).

Guy just isn't reliable enough, especially with Brees being on and off. Even with 6 TDs Cooks only got 20. I am thinking about Ginn Jr, but I am not sure who to dump off.

>>63320192
Honestly I am kind of afraid he is going to ride the pine pony after they lock up the AFC, but at the same time with Denver and Cincinnati both hanging in there I might just dump off Newton.

This is my first year playing Fantasy Football (though I've watched it all my life)

Is Sammy Watkins gonna be ready to go?

I gotta pick between Watkins, James Jones v. Carolina, and Kamar Aiken for a FLEX thanks to losing Forte and Calvin Johnson being on BYE.

Help
>>
Pick a flex, standard

Rishard Matthews (@ Buf)
Antonio Andrews (@ NO)

Leaning Rishard simply because I don't trust Tennessee's offense and I'm not sure what to expect from Mularkey, but Andrews has a juicy matchup.
>>
>>63320070
Guess nobody knows for 10 man standard huh?
>>
>>63321080
If Marshall goes, start your receivers. Gore doesn't look all that great this year and Denver's D is stout as fuck. Diggs, despite the hard matchup, is a stud and should be fine.

I have an open spot on my bench
my line up for the week is fine

Who do I stash with my last bench spot?
12team .5ppr
Nate Washington
Charles Sims
Karlos Williams
Theo Riddick
Thomas Rawls
James Starks
Chris Polk

I'm starting Hurns over Diggs in my league because I know that Revis will probably be on Robinson, leaving Hurns open.

Diggs is just playing a good defense in general. It's weird because I have Willie Snead as an option and he's finally coming on too
