>>
Fuck this club so much
>>
Why is Bayern so intent on destroying its own league?
>>
>Kann Knäbel den HSV wirklich retten
I sure as fuck hope not. Also his only previous coaching job was at FC Winterthur.
>>
Reminder that Bayern isn't owned by the fans but by stock company, Adidas, Allianz and Audi.

Now Germany has it's own plastic club.
>>

>Buyernwinslol
what a joke the Bundesliga is.
>>
Don't Wolfsburg have Volkswagon money? Why would they sell?
>>
>>57468153
It works in their favour. Less competition means more trophies, more ability to compete in Europe and more money (since the revenue in the Bayerndesliga is allocated based on results).
>>
>>57468139
>Buy-'em Munich
>>
>>57468139
Remember that guy who kept tearing Chelsea a new one in the CL? Wonder who owns him now.
>>
>>57468139
>De Bayerne
>>
>>57468153
they don't actually care about winning the league

players like schweinshit or lahm, who won the competition 8 times already don't even celebrate anymore when they win

bundes is 34 training matches for bayern to prepare for the CL
>>
Would De Bruyne actually go to Bayern though? I'm sure he could move to a bigger club that would guarantee him more playing time than Buyern.
>>
>>57468139
but they can beat them
>>
>>57468139
reminds me of the Lion era in France, same strategy. suck up all the talent from your own league, best way to win it year after year.
>>
>>57468153
They use it like a farm to compete in europe. Pretty smart imo
>>
>>57468139
It wasn't too bad before pep.

It's just that Bayern are butthurt from being cucked by Dortmund for years so they're going full retard.
>>
>>57468183

it's more like does de bruyne want to stay at wolfsburg or does he want to be a cog in pep's trophy churning machine
>>
>>57468223
Except when they don't win in Europe, then their league is basically pointless. It's a one-horse-race with a spastic obese jockey.
>>
>>57468188
The money argument is retarded.
First place in Bundesliga gets less than last place in Premier League. (TV revenue)
>>
>>57468231
I think you're retarded. What point are you trying to make? That if they wanted more money, they would move to the EPL?
>>
Why doesn't the league do something to counteract this shit?

They're just sitting back and letting one club monopolise a whole league. Why is there not more outcry in Germany about it?
>>
>>57468236
Because the league would fall to pieces.
>>
Buyerns needs a new benchwarmwer now that Shaqiri is gone.
>>
>>57468236
>>>/USA/
Next you'll be asking for salary caps to "ensure parity" and youth drafts to "share the talent."
>>
>>57468236
Cash money.
And one great club is better than lots of mediocre clubs, at least from a TV perspective.
>>
>>57468235
I'm saying the money they get for good results is completely neglect able. So this is not a goal for them.
They only need a good place to get into the CL because there is the money.

>(since the revenue in the Bayerndesliga is allocated based on results)
It doesn't matter for them at all.
>>
>>57468236
It's called economic freedom.
Do you want a socialist league like in the US?

They only need to get rid of the stupid 50+1 rule and let foreign companies buy teams like in the EPL.
Manchester United States of America vs. Russian Federation of Chelsea vs Arab City of Manchester is still better than Bayern vs. victim XY
>>
>>57468236

>>57468148
>>57468153
oh no the best club in the league is interested in the league's top scorer, absolutely disgusting. every club buys the best players they can get, get your heads out of your arses. this is just as ridiculous as saying dortmund only wanted to destroy competitors for a cl spot by buying reus for example.
>>
>>57468236
They're afraid of another putsch
>>
>>57468282
It's not necessarily one or the other. There must be some middle ground. I mean, we used to have both parity and competition between non-plastic clubs, at least to some extent.

Maybe the best way for us to go is to force the EPL to be shown on the BBC to destroy the TV money, and maybe put a 50+1 rule in or something. Don't know how you'd fix your league, it looks fucked tbh.
>>
>>57468302
No matter what you think about Bild, they do have a very good sports department with lots of sources.
>>
>bayern fans will defend this
>>
>>57468306
>every club buys the best players they can get, get your heads out of your arses.

But not every club is stacked to the point that they could take and destroy a Bundesliga minus Bayern XI with their eyes closed.

It's not like Manure trying to buy Cesc, or Barca trying to buy Ronaldo. They already have the rest of the league's balls in a vice, and now they're just taking the piss.
>>
>>57468217
no they can't, bayern got fucking destroyed by wolfsburg.
>>
>>57468236
actually every single manager cries about it on a weekly basis on some tv show. some of them even want to allow investors.

>be shit for decades while bayern is working on a monopoly
>lel all for nothing bauern, some arab just gave me a trillion euros
bright future indeed, that would really improve the bundesliga
>>
>>57468332
well then tell me which player should replace robben or ribery in the nearer future except müller? weiser? top lel
>>
>>57468314
Enforcing those kinds of rules just ruins leagues more. Football evolves, the small teams always figure out a neat way to compete, albeit temporarily.

If the EPL was on the BBC, it would just reduce attendance for games, and destroying TV money will just diminish the English clubs' ability to compete on the continent. Funny thing is teams there don't rely on TV money much anyway, with Arsenal getting a huge chunk (like 60%) of their revenue from matchday sales (tickets and everything sold at stadiums). Chelsea, Man Utd and City all get most of their dough from sponsors.

What you're taking fit is to make (the league) shittier so that shittier teams can compete, which won't work.
>>
>>57468302
it makes sense though, he is the perfect replacement for ribery or robben. both of them are often injured, robben is now out for 2 months over nothing but a simple tackle. ribery has a new injury every other game.

bayern is ageing, and they know it. their current young players are good but not as good as those they are supposed to replace. but de bruyne is.
>>
>>57468322
there's really nothing to defend.

The thing that they don't seem to realise or care about is that they're just cucking themselves in the long run.

One-club-leagues are never successful. Look at Scotland and look at France (until the last couple of years). They become unattractive for top footballers, they get fat and lazy because they win so easily at home, and then eventually they start flopping in Europe.

Probably because the EPL has a ton of money, talent and some of the richest clubs in the world. They are able to compete. No one is cherry picking all of the good/key players from the entire league like Buyern does in the Bundes.
>>
>>57468446
Yeah but he won it at least every other year. There was no parity there at all.
>>
Lets end the discussion because we can all agree that at the end of the day Bundesliga is pathetic trash that nobody follows.

>>
>>57468459

Says a lot about the quality of the Bundesliga league tbh. You can win it by February with a squad that's not really 100% there and struggles in Europe.
>>
The entire Bundesliga was only created and designed as a front to allow Buyern to rest all of their top players before every european game.
>>
>>57468430

bayern have won basically half of all league title since what? 1970?

united dominated the league in the 90s and 2000s, it was basically ferguson dominating but even then most of the seasons had someone challenging closely

and united wont dominate like that again, theres ~5 teams who could theoretically get their shit together and win the league in the next 5 years
>>
Where were you shit cunts when Bremen was dismantled? Where were you when Khedira went to Real, Dzeko to Man Shitty, Vidal to Juve, Sahin to Real and Kagawa to Manure?

>english people talking abotu struggling in Europe

lel
>>
>>57468474
I think the lack of sustained competition makes them weaker in Europe actually. They rarely face genuine competition so when they finally do, they have difficulty playing at their highest level.
>>
>>57468468
Idgaf about parity, what matters is how the team wins it

For example Bayern/Juve are the winners already due the wide margin between them and the others teams, which clearly means that there's no team that can threaten them

However for example a team winning the league by a small margin, or because the others fucked it up is no problem for me

Again, parity isn't the problem, but the way they achieve it

That's why I don't even bother watching Serie A anymore

Heck even Ligue 1 this year is 10 times more exciting

only one of those players is actually good tbf

I know, even last year it was boring because PSG raped anyone

But this year, Bielsa made a great work in Marseille, and if it weren't for the lack of depth, he'd do much better. And Lyon also thanks to their young player are doing fairly good too

It's a tight race right now, even Monaco is pretty damn close to these three right now despite selling key players and a new coach
>>
>>57468488
You don't care about parity because you're aren't a fan of any team in the league.

Imagine this from Bayern's point of view: you want to be the best team in the world. Thats it. Barely winning the league isn't good enough, you want to dominate it.

What you're saying is "stop winning so much, its boring!," but the whole fucking reason teams exist is to win things. If a team isn't winning or at least trying to, whats the point?

What you end up with is American sports where teams don't care about being shit because they are guarranteed to exist and will be rewarded for their shittyness.

You can't force a dominant team to be shit because the whole point of EVERY team is to become that good.
>>
>>57468515

>>

Heck, we've seen how shit Marseille was without Ayew during the CAN

>>
>>57468236
Because 50% of Germans are Buyern bandwagoners.

The average Buyern fan sees no problem in being from Lower Saxony and supporting a club literally called Bavaria Munich. It's a rather disgraceful display.
>>
>>57468533

serie a and bundesliga are equally boring, everyone knows bayern and juve will win, if one does it by 20 and the other 15 who cares

serie a got fucked over by corruption and general mismanagement, but if they get their shit together theres at least some chance inter and ac milan can challenge juve, much more chance than anyone in the bundesliga challenging bayern for a sustained period (until they sell their best players to them)
>>
>implying De Bruyne's plan wasn't to play at a shit club first so he would play 90 minutes every game and make a lasting impression on the top clubs to then move on

Arsenal were the best team in England in 2003/04, roughly when Chelsea started spending the oil bucks. That Arsenal team would have gone on to win FAR more than they ended up winning. The fact that they didn't is a direct result of the increase in competition from Chelsea.

It's literally bullshit that they were screwed over while Buyern are allowed to run their corrupt league as they please.

Chelsea bought 2 players of Atletico Madrid and one of Basel after those clubs beat them in the CL. And they're a sugar daddy club who only exist to launder a criminal's money.

>>57468585
then other clubs need to step the fuck up. in the same time frame bayern doubled their turnover, shitty muh tradition clubs like stuttgart, bremen or hamburg barely managed to keep their's on the same level. that is not bayern's fault, that is bad management. the opposite example would be dortmund. why people on /sp/ choose to believe that dortmund is dead is beyond me. the most important thing to stay at/near the top in modern football is generating high turnover consistently. look at pic related. dortmund isn't some kind of small fish, some victim of bayern. they are a big club, in germany and in europe (11th highest turnover that year).

When Chelsea buy Rooney, De Gea, Di Maria, RvP, Shaw, Sterling, Sturridge, Henderson, Coutinho, Hazard, Courtois, Cech, Cesc, Costa, Terry, Szczesny, Sanchez, Oxlade-Chamberlain, Ozil, Ramsey, Yaya Toure, Aguero, Hart, Kompany, Zabaleta, Silva, Eriksen, Lamela, Kane, Loris, Paulinho and Chadli, then maybe I'll see your point. Until then, the EPL spending big money is neither here nor there, because the big clubs generally buy talent from abroad.
>>
>>57468619
First off, thats not why the trophies stopped, but we can talk about this in /arse/. Secondly, look at it from a Chelsea fan's (lol) point of view. The league was switching between Utd and Arsenal, your team wins jack shit. All they did is find a way to compete, even if that way is a Russian criminal. Its still within the rules, so they did it.

As mad as Arsenal fans might be, Wenger and Dien and the other board members understood the goal was to compete, not to expect your opposition to stay shit. Hence the Emirates, and, as predicted, they now have enough money to at least compete, meanwhile the other teams now all want new stadiums.

as football is only about making money bayern will eventually be held back by the lack of revenue being in a shitty league provides

ad homs are for betas
>>
>>57468686

the chinese sponsorships thing was a broader comment yes, plenty of prem teams do it and other teams in other leagues probably have shit like it too

it is not a situation that seems desirable to me that simple generating revenue is now the main concern of a football club, regardless of nationality
>>
>>57468688
>and the bundesliga is being left behind by interesting leagues
In what way exactly? Its producing a shitload of talent, leading its NT to World Cup glory. Its Champions are constantly European challengers, it houses one of the best teams in the world.

In what way is the EPL better than Bundesliga ? Funny thing is with the incoming EPL home grown player changes, England is trying to be MORE like the bundesliga/la liga.
>>
good thread
>>
>>57468700
>it is not a situation that seems desirable to me that simple generating revenue is now the main concern of a football club

that's much much truer for the premier league than it is for bayern though. bayern always reinvest most of their revenue directly into their football structures, the rest is simply getting put aside for big short-term investments.

EPL is destroying the competition in every other European league with their obscene amounts of money.

Just look at Spain or France. Half of the good players are now playing in England. Which is the reason why Barca/Real have been winning the league with 100+ points.

Nobody except very few continental clubs (Bayern, PSG, Barca, Madrid) can compete with the financial monster that is the Premier League

So yeah, actually EPL is to blame for everything. And with the new TV deal it will become even worse.
>>
>>57468726

its not ad logicam, i didnt say your argument was wrong because you used a fallacy

>>
>>57468757
It doesn't matter because no matter how much money they get, if they keep going like this, they'll stay irrelevant in the european scene
>>
>>57468775
the point is that people are complaining about the massive capitalist playground that is modern professional football when it doesn't please them (bayern) but look the other way when it does (premier league).

bayern, as an organisation, wants to regularly challenge for the champions league title. their main competition? big money from england. that's just how it is.
>>
>>57468786
>literally the richest club in the world
>irrelevant in europe

okay m8 nice prediction.
>>
>>57468757
The fact that an utterly irrelevant club like Newcastle can buy up half of Ligue 1's talent pool really tells you everything you need to know.

>>57468786
They haven't caught up tactically yet. Time to throw more money a foreign coaches.
>>
Can't believe what a small club Chelsea has become
>>
>>57468799

i complain at both tbh

man united and arsenal struck lucky they were at the top when tv revenue exploded, chelsea and city are only there because of ridiculous foreign investment and liverpool are historically our biggest club but still struggle to really compete

to me the end logic of the current state of football is a european super league, where the richest clubs (bayern, madrid, barca, man united etc) split off from domestic to make an insane amount of money and have all of the top talent

and the domestic leagues are left to develop their own players, have a more local connection and produce players for the nt
>>
>>57468806
Because a this one said >>57468810
EPL teams are tactically inept, and that's especially true since Fergie's departure

Let's just look at other teams in Europa League, why is it that EPL teams do worst there despite having more money than other teams there ?

Again, money doesn't equal titles, it helps a lot sure but it doesn't make it happen

Also EPL teams are still light years behind other teams when it comes to youth programs
>>
>>57468786
>>57468806
>>57468834
i think i misunderstood, sorry.

yeah no, england will catch up. maybe not next season, maybe not the season after, but they will. youth programs and maybe finally looking at tactical advancements from the continent again after 50 years will let them grow strong again.

>>57468826
Now, whats stopping those good players in the domestic leagues joining the "Super league" teams? Whats stopping them joining the best teams in the domestic leagues?

Pro athletes are people, and they want 2 things, success, and money. They'll go where they can guarrantee themselves at least 1 of those 2.

Your logic is retarded. You're mad at something you can't even comprehend
>>
>>57468834

well take liverpool and tottenham, they are far more concerned by getting to the top 4 than doing well in the europa

the epl is in a bit of a lull in european competition it is true, but a few years ago 2 or 3 teams were regularly getting to the CL semi finals and a shit tier team like fulham got to the EL final

chelsea will improve over the summer, man city will too, as will united and arsenal will probably as well, but there probably is something in the play style/tactic that work well in the PL are very different to those that work in european competition being an issue
>>
>>57468826
well the champions league is kinda that. except of course that teams still play in their domestic leagues.
>>
>>57468775
>football is about competition

then why does FFP exist?
>>
>>57468834
I don't know when JF's will learn that no one gives a fuck about the Europa. If a team does well as well as doing well in the league then fine but as soon as it becomes an issue then fucking nope
>>
hello is this the /bundes/?
>>
>>57468868

who said they would be stopped? you have read something into my post that is not there. you are calling the logic you have fabricated yourself retarded, not mine

by focusing more on the nt i mean more restrictions on homegrown players like dyke has suggested
>>
>>57468883

Fuck this shit

My father worked at the Volkswagen factory in Wolfsburg his entire life. He loved that factory. Every day he spent there he enjoyed. And guess what? He also supported VFL Wolfsburg. Wolfsburg were his inspiration to work in the factory. He loved Volkswagen and Wolfsburg. He loved them more than me. Whenever Wolfsburg scored a goal he would jump up and celebrate with his car keys. If I tried to hug him he would push me away. Whenever Wolfsburg won a match he would do the same. I remember for his birthday I bought him a Wolfsburg away shirt. He did not thank me, he thanked his Volkswagen car and spent the day inside it eating cake with the VFL Wolfsburg logo in his new shirt. On bring your son to work day he would make me sit next to him while he assembled cars. He named every piece of metal after a Wolfsburg player. He would be able to recognise in the street each piece of metal. We would drive past a Volkswagen Golf and he would say ''Look, the door is Jürgen Rische!''. This is the only time he interacted with me. He hated me and loved Wolfsburg and Volkswagen. His last words to me were ''die Volkswagen Passat ist zuverlässiger als Sie''.

Why do Bayern spit on my fathers grave? Fuck Bayern Munich. They are a cancer. Fuck them for what they have done. All my father wanted was to see Wolfsburg dominate German football and Volkswagen to entail 90 percent of cars in Germany but they never will while Bayern continue to cheat and while Mercedes lie in their advertising. Fuc Bayern. I hope the club dies.

Let's take a realistic look at the top 4 teams that will represent England in the CL next season and probably the season after too.
(in no particular order)
Chelsea
Arsenal
United
City

Chelsea are a main stay in the competition as simply choked hard against PSG, that won't appen again. They will slightly improve in the summer too. No worries here for the upcoming seasons as they are always in the mix to win the CL.

Arsenal. Well Arsenal are Arsenal and I firmly believe that as long as Wenger reigns over the club they won't win a CL (league is a different matter). They have a good squad with obvious flaws that either take forever to fix or never get fixed plus tons of injuries every season. Add the constant choke in the group stages (always finishing second) and that they always find a way to fuck themselves over in the home leg and you get the annual RO 16 exit. Won't change until those flaws are fixed and/or Wenger leaves.

United might play dogshit, even with their current resurgence, but they will finish in the top 4 and Van Laal took his dear time to find his best 11 but I think he got it right now. They have a history of doing well in Europe and Van Gaal is experienced enough to deliver the trophy especially after another MASSIVE spending spree in the summer. So they are one to look out for in the next years.

City. In theory should be one of the strongest if not the strongest team among the top 4 but quite frankly I can't see them do any better in Europe. No matter the coach or players they bring in. FFP isn't helping them either so I'd rate them the weakest of all 4. RO 16 at best.
>>
>>57468874
Lelsea will never improve because Mou is trying to force his views on players that aren't compatible with his philosophy

Give Hazard to Pep, or Barça right now, or Mandril and you'll see how freaking good he really is

United/Arsenal well sure why not, we'll see, Arsenal could've done well if they weren't underestimating their opponent I guess
>>
>>57468874
Which Mourinho team has gotten better in his 3rd year there? None. The best thing to do for him is step down by his own accord this summer or he'll get sacked before the winterbreak next season.
>>
>>57468139
Hands off Bayern, De Bruyne is coming back home to Chelsea
>>
>>57468899
It's not like it's bayerns fault Robben wanted to play. It's just bad luck i don't see it as a new start of the glass man either. But yeah i was also looking forward the internationals with Robben, now i'm anxious about a match against the turks...
>>
>>57468968
Genuinely think Manure will be at least at the quarter finals next season. They will only strengthen and their brand of football at the minute is ideal for Continental football. >moyes did well against Bayern for christ sake
>>
Bayern needs a new winger. Robben and Ribery only have about 2 seasons left and both are incredibly prone to injuries. Who else are they aupposed to buy? There's not a whole lot of wingers on this level for sale.
>>
>>57469079
Pls save Hazard from the evil that is Mourinho
>>
>>57469059
yeah and that's why I don't get the fuss over hurr durr England a shit (well except for the usual trolling). Give or take a few years and the Buyern cycle is over and England will get a handful
of finalists/winner again every couple seasons. The only league that can come close is La Liga because Real and Barca keep it in a constant headlock.
>>
>>57469079
btw this is something i don't get, de bruyne isn't even a winger.

i'm still assuming the story is completely made up by bild. btw it also says they are planning to buy him in 2016, not 2015.
>>
>>57469099
>yeah and that's why I don't get the fuss over hurr durr England a shit

Overreactions always happen. England will never get back to the decade of having at least one English team in a European final but the league is in a transition phase right now.
>>
>>57469098
They will never sell hazard
>>
>>57469099
>>57469116
to be fair, two seasons out of three with no quarterfinalists is more than a slight hiccup. there's a lot of work to be done in english football.
>>
>>57469137
He's already off to PSG lad
>>
>>57469116
Why not? Ideally England could have 4 potential CL winners and two for the EL.
>>
>>57469142
The fundamental problem, for CL at least, is congested fixtures. European teams get a decent break over winter when that's when a lot of English teams play most of their football.

English teams, this season aside, typically do well in the group stages then turn to absolute shit in the knockout stages.

>>57469155
EL doesn't give a good enough reward for English teams. Simply put Spurs or Liverpool would rather challenge for 4th than challenge for the EL.Downside of having so much money in the PL really.
>>
>>57468921

No. When a person, like the Russian, buys a club like chelsea he should be allowed to do what is he feels is needed to to increase long term success of his club.

That means being able to invest whatever amount of money he feels is needed in the now to make sure his club can compete with older clubs like Man UTD, and Bayern in the long term. What the FFP does is limit the potential growth of other clubs just to protect a few established clubs that happened to be good when domestic leagues started to gain popularity. FFP hurts more than it helps.
>>
>>57469166
spain doesn't really have a winter break either. but they have home and away ties for their cup, so yeah.

just get rid of the fucking league cup already.

>>57469186
well that sure is a nice opinion. i agree with your analysis of the effects of ffp though.
>>
>>57469166
on the contrary I think the money isn't that important for the clubs now. Once you are in the EL you should try to win now that it gives you a CL spot. I genuinely think it's easier for Tottenham to win the EL than to finish in the top 4. Liverpool is still lacking quite a few players to battle United/Arsenal for a constant top 4 spot too.
>>
>>57469166
but winterbreak wasn't a problem when England was dominating the CL a couple years back. The problem right now is that City, Arsenal and Chelsea are limiting their potential by having shit managers. That's all there is to it.
>>
>>57469201
you mean the league cup, where only subs and 2nd team players play`?

Don't think that would change anything. Winter break is much more important.
>>
>>57469202
true. qualifying for the cl means, for a club like gladbach, essentially doubling their budget for the season. for tottenham? eh, nice bonus i guess.
