Last job was tossin' shit in the deep fryer for 6 hours. Fuck that shit. Never again. then it would get super busy and I would forget how many orders I Would have to put down. I'd keep asking, "what was that last order" get yelled at, feel like shit, stress out, throw the shit in the deep fryer then stand there and stare at it untill it floats, take it out, put it on a plate. rinse and repeat.

Job before was cutting grass, but I was only a temporary employee. I'd love to cut grass again, but then winter comes and I'm fucked with nothing. Just like Roofing too. fun job, it just sucks balls in the winter and I'm scared of heights.

So I'm lookin for something manual labor thats all year round. But if I don't find anything soon its probably back to the dish pit, where I can atleast be stoned when I work.

My last job was pretty cool. I was a graphic designer for Discovery Channel, but it was a timed contract gig. I could have been there longer but they couldn't justify having another designer after that point.

I graduated last spring and I desperately need a job because my sister and her family are moving out which means I have to find another place to live or pay a lot more for rent. It's bad enough that's she's taking all the furniture including my bed (i literally have to sleep on the floor now).

I suffer from really bad anxiety and depression. I don't know what I'm gonna do if I don't find a job by the end of next month.

know all about anxiety and depression. Been to the mental hospital several times. Been pumped with meds. taken my own drugs. Gotten over it pretty well over the last year.

I usually slay interviews though, all mental issues aside. Just getting one set up has been a bitch. Once I renew my birth certificate and sin number I can send a resume to a staffing company in town that I hear gets people lots of jobs. You should see if you have any local staffing companies or employment counselors who can help you find jobs.


anyways. I'm flat broke. still live with the parents so I don't have to worry about bills but I feel like such a free loader. Can't even go out and have fun. Selling a bunch of my shit next week so I can get some magic mushrooms. Haven't tripped in 2 years. Kind of nervous, but maybe the medicine will set me on some kind of new path where I don't give a fuck about what I do anymore and just do it, or who I am forced to be around and just tolerate peoples simple shit....but most importantly, trip the fuck out and make some more art to sell, like the one I drew here. Local bar/restaurant downtown in my city. I could easily work shifts monday through thursday since it was usually dead those days, but fridays and saturdays were always complete shit shows. Then they hired another guy when we already had a full staff which cut my hours in half and I was working like, 2-3 shifts a week which was complete bullshit. Then they would train me like, once one week on the grill or stove top and except me to remember it a week later doing it once.

In short. Working in kitchens sucks. Unless its day prep. I can cut vegetables peel potatoes and bread/pound chicken cutlets all day long.

Probably but youre still right, verbal communication is obviously a limit, especially the english language isnt really know for its beauty or expressionism, I have to admit that I find german to be a way more beautiful language if used correctly. My favorite head is Coltrane - Resolution. That one's pretty easy and sounds amazing. Oh yeah I also learned some of the stuff from the Cowboy Bebop soundtracks and some TMV melodies I really loved like the guitar melody at the beginning of Take The Veil.

A few months ago, I was writing out heads in a really shitty way but it cemented them in my brain. I wrote the note name and placed each one higher/lower and closer/farther depending on how the songs went. It was pretty quick since I jotted them all in an old notebook. Sometimes it still helps when I can't remember that well. I also just sorta "collect" tunes that I've learned by writing them in a note on my phone so it feels like tangible progress and I can put the starting note and the key of the song in parentheses.
