Most enjoyable daily beard thread.
Men post your beards, everybody rate them.
Currently at two months, need to trim and brush it out.
Ride home from work yesterday.
No shave ever
Not bad at all, a little undergrowth on the neck you should take care of Anon.
I have to regularly shave because of the military. So it only gets to grow in 3-4 month cycles.
I kept trimming it, but now I'm gonna let it grow.
Need to seriously brush my beard today, usually it's a lot more managed.
Agreed, It's really hit or miss. A lot of women love it, a lot hate it. Not a lot in the middle...
When a woman acts like a bitch and says "Anon you'd look better without the beard." I respond with "Yeah... you'd look better with a different haircut."
Got those curls m8.
You have a nice hair line though!
Said got those curls, as in you have a lot of curly hair.
Does it take you a while to grow hair?
I look like a little kid without my beard, I'm 26 and get carded every time I shave it off.
Grow it out, still get called out "You look so young Anon" it's shit.
Keep up the faith brother! remember next time to just get it cut short instead of completely off.
Does anyone else's beard itches? I always get small bumps and it feels like pricks on my skin.
old pic by the way
Yes, it's pretty normal.
Use head 'n shoulders on it religiously and it should help.
I'm 33 and look 14 when I shave. It's pathetic, I always keep SOME facial hair but I'd went full hobo beard then and loved it.
Racism aside "Monkey Bumps" is pretty common in all men, not just African Americans.
I have extremely bushy and thick hair, after I shave it's not uncommon to get it on my neck.
I get it regularly throughout my beard as hair falls out also.
It's due to a number of factors, namely cleanliness/diet/regional humidity.
Sadly darker skinned fellows get it more often because their skin has issues adjusting to mild climates.
Causing either too much or too little oil and clogging pores. Since your beard has its own environment and bacteria.
Vitamin E shampoo once a week can be a good way to keep your skin healthy underneath and brushing your hair out daily can help allow air to get through and pull debris out.

Thanks for the tip, Anon.
No problem man!
Just like your hair up top you don't want to shampoo it too much or it will dry out your scalp.
I wash both daily at most, just a basic shampoo/conditioner mix.
however every Saturday I shampoo it with the vitamin E mixture and let it sit there for about 10 minutes then condition for about the same.
I take the time to stretch, relax in the shower.
If you're doing a generic wash, just put the shampoo in for a quick second and wash it out. If you feel you were working out a lot or are really sweaty don't shampoo twice a day.
Just turn the water down to luke warm and pull your beard so you can rinse your face underneath and get rid of extra oil.
Sorry, not sorry :x
Here is a weird transition picture when I first started growing beards.
Do you have a picture of it?
More than willing to suggest possible alternatives to beards.
Not everyones face is meant for it.
One of my friends rocks a Fumanchu.
Some good beards going on in this thread.
very nice jawline and beard.
looking good brother!
Not the first one to say Riker before.
I had a ginger jew fro all thru highschool.
Gotta maintane the name, ya know?
11 months growing beard and hair, it's ok, but I'm thinking about shaving the top off because everyone keeps talking about my long hair.
beard looks good, i agree on the hair.
Anyone else have curly hair and end up never trimming because the next day after taking a shower, it looks like you didn't trim at all?
It's been 8 days since I started the bottom and sides had small lines and gotee
I've probably let this go too long without styling it but I don't really know what to do. First time really letting it grow. What do you think?
I'm not a barber or any kind of expert of any sort, but I'd shave the bit above the black line.
Do you guys think that I would look good with some facial hair? My friends are saying that I'd look good with one, but I feel like they're just saying that because they know I want one, kek. Looking for some opinions from strangers. What do you think?
>had been up for 2 days when this was taken
>dem bags under my eyes
All of your guises bears are glorious, btw!
I am currently clean shaven because I didn't like the way my beard looked. But now I am worried that I look like too much of a baby face without a beard and may need to grow one back.
I suppose I could always just lose weight too.
The other poster is right and you need to set a defined upper line for your beard. As far as the rest I'm not a particular fan of long beards, but I suppose it works with your long hair.
Honestly, the rest doesn't look too bad at all. Though, it seems your beard might be a bit like mine, in that it's a bit curly/whatever. So, when it starts to get pretty long, just be sure to comb it every day and such (possibly use beard oil or whatever, but I can't say for certain since I've never used it before).
Another thing to note is the mustache. To me, the longer/thicker the mustache, the better (that is, if you have a longer beard). Sure, it's a pain to upkeep, mainly when eating/drinking stuff. But, it's worth it in the long run as a lot of guys' beards look much better with a mustache that hangs past the lip line instead of trimming it every so often. However, this is just personal opinion. So, if you want to trim it so that it doesn't get in your mouth, then do so.
Anyway, things may change once your beard gets past 4-5 inches. So, who knows...
Glad to see more beardbrothers posted while I was asleep.
Do you ever have to trim once it gets to that length?
I really need to shape mine up once it gets down to my chest.
Never had it that long and need advice on split ends and shaping.
very nice casual beard
you have a really good hairline, mustache is well groomed also!
Mine has to constantly be trimmed, I have weird bushy (spaghetti western) mustache.
brushing and grooming happening now.
will post new pictures today.
Let it go a little wild lately. Normally I keep it trimmed pretty short.
Actually I say keep it exactly that length in my opinion.
It's a nice strong beard!
I don't think you'd look good with it any longer.
nice jawline, you have that Transporter guy look, goes well with scrubble.
Brushed my beard out today.
What direction should I go with it?
I almost had a chin strap but i am now letting it grow. Also trying out the curls on me mustache. Also I need to trim my beard and get those strays.
You`re beard is clean as fuck. keep doing whatever you`re doing.
Fits you very well. reminds me of Jason Statham.
