Zombie thread! Here's something we haven't done in

And here's me! I'll pick some cool people to be in my team if this takes off. Now for a couple of pro's and cons.

Pro's:
-Easygoing personality, can get along with all kinds of different people. Generally concidered to be a kind and caring person.
-Studied social work. Good at solving problems and tension within a group.
-Millitary an combat experience, Dutch Marine, 2 tours.
-Survival experience in all sorts of enviroments
-I'm in good shape, do sports allmost daily, mainly competition level boxing but also running and lifting
-Love cooking, can prepare different kinds of animals, know a fair amount about plants
-6'4 (don't know if this is a pro)

Con's:
-Bad knees, starts playing up when running longer distances (10k+, and a lot sooner while running with a backpack)
-PTSD, have dealt with it and it doesn't bother me anymore in my current life but I don't know how I would react to a
situation like this
-Used to eating a lot due to sports

Pros-strong and fast. Knows martial arts. Loyal and will go into places to clear them out/scout. Knows firearms.

Cons-will require a quarter of each other members rations a day to sustain muscle and strength.

Pros- tall, strong. Smarter than what I probably look, fearless and trained in CQC and ruthless/dedicated

Cons-vanity, easily distracted, not a great judge of character

Pros - I'm fast. I don't complain all that often. Friendly. I can play guitar and sing for entertainment. Small background in camping/hiking.

Cons - I can't fight for shit. I'll probably fuck off a lot.

1: Absent minded some times, the other half it's decent ideas
2: High high HIGH metabolism.
3: Annoying
4: Necrophiliac

Survival plans would depend on the type of zombies.

Pros:
-operational with firearms and tactics
-Highly intelligent, knows lots of info about useful and random stuff
-highly logical, no room for emotion when shit is hitting the fan
-experienced in aftermath of natural disasters
-can cook anything
-excellent problem solver, especially under pressure
-great sense of direction
-generally agreeable but not afraid to speak up with counter arguments, etc.
-very light sleeper

Cons:
-high metabolism
-realistic albeit cynical outlook
-arguably some level of sociopath
-slight hearing loss

Cons: I have no experience with anything violent and I'm not good with killing things and I'm kinda a wimp haha

I feel like being cold and distant Is a pro in a Z-apocalypse scenario. you can be the group executioner when people need to get put down before they turn.

Not picking yet, but just tossing opinions.
Also eating alot is going to be a problem with pretty much everyone, so I'll be ignoring it.

A good guy all around survival, would be good for moral if it was a big group, Combat experience is a big plus. Bad knees is a problem, but not to much of one, 6'4 is to tall can't hide as effectively, PTSD is a wild card.

Seems like the outdoorsy type, would be a good hunter for food and basic survival. Emotionally unstable can be worked around, drinks alot will be a problem. That's weight to carry, you might do somthing stupid, you might go into withdraw, pooping outdoors is null, their are still bathrooms, just with zombies. You can hold it, or you can shit in the woods.

I like the Logic over emotion, but has that ever been used in a real situation? Can you trust yourself to be logical? Light sleeping could be a Con if the groans of the undead, fire, and gunshots keep you up all night. Hearing loss is a major con to me, but you could work around that.

Knowledge on plants is a huge plus to me, due to my lack of knowledge on the subject, small is good, but to small plus the inability to fight hand to hand would be a huge minus. Alot of people overlook a good work ethic, which is really important for the apocalypse. Nervous is a plus, better for you to be on edge than to relaxed. Just not to the point of breakdown. Cold is fine, as long as you don't lose all of your humanity and become senseless.

Like I said, sought hearing loss, can't hear certain tones. If we were forming a band you wouldn't want me, but it doesn't affect day to day. The logic thing is useful in many situations, I can be hyper objective instead of caring about whether we need to save a person who inevitably will get killed and us risking more people. The light sleeping thing I get but this wouldn't be a war zone, and you would want someone who can be alerted right away to a threat

Pros:

1. I'm a good runner.
2. I can make myself look like a spoopy skeleton, that might confuse the Zombies. pic related is me having fun with streetlights in the night during a running session.
3. Small stomach, don't need much too eat.
4. Eating less will make me even look more like a skeleton, maybe even without needing to use light/darkness to make me appear that way.

Cons:
1. Group might become paranoid and blame innocent skeletons for the Zombie Apocalypse, if the rations run out and we don't think clearly because of the hunger.

If it's just tone deficiency that's fine, I'd count that as null. Agreed on the logic. Light sleeping is more situational now that I think about it, good in some, bad in another. Not by itself is it bad or good, I'd count it as a wild card

Good runner means good scout, with a bit of practice. Lack of eatting is a plus in the short term, long term it's a wild card. Gotta make sure he doesn't kill himself when he finds out he is a skeleton covered in flesh, he might try to strip out of his skin.

easy going. i don't complain much, i just do what needs to be done.
can lighten the mood by playing my guitar and singing happy songs. or darken the mood if you really want
can negotiate with other survivors fairly well.
peacemaker. can ease tensions and bad vibes.
fairly well built. could be useful in a fight with minimal training.
quick learner. will pick up any skills i might deem useful as fast as possible.

PROS: owns an AK with a bumpski ( allows for automatic fire ), body armor, .50bmg and a .22, decent knowledge in chemistry, knows a some edible wild plants and poisonous ones, knows that humans are more dangerous than zombies, high pain tolerance, patient and knows how to fish and hunt

- I am very diligent
- Willing to endanger myself for others
- I work well under pressure
- Innovative
- I have and know how to work many guns

Cons:
- I am a bit chubby but can still run crazy far once adrenalin kicks in
- Will emotional breakdown after a while
- Can be mean in what I see in with good intention but might cause stress

Pro's:
-Avoids conflict and pretty much can get on with anyone, I don't argue about petty things or feel like I need to big myself up over anyone. Very agreeable, more of a follower than a leader.
-Barely every hungry, eat pretty minimally... so I wouldn't take up many resources.
-Camping/Basic outdoor survival knowledge as well as tracking skills
-Not easily phased by traumatic situations
-Small framed and light on my feet, could fit in between tight obstacles and could pass by unnoticed by most.
-Obsessive (Could be a con as-well) Once I focus on something I won't stop until it's finished.
-Very loyal

Cons:
-Fairly weak, low(ish) stamina, often tired.
-Bad sense of urgency
-Often ill
-Terrible cooking skills
-Low leadership + indecisive
-No combat experience
-Low self esteem

>I prefer being alone, I'm not a caretaker

Hopefully only in a scenario which would also bring risk to yourself, otherwise, you're an asshole. Med skills are nice, but anything serious with zombies about would be a chop job that anyone could do. Someone gets a collapsed lung, they are dead unless they're in a hospital with you. Stealth is situational.
