Uh, you may want to read a little more into the chemistry behind this.

First of all, phtalates are odourless, the typical plastic smell comes from other components. Then, only DEHP and derivates of it are truly critical (they are relatively small molecules), and you're still surrounded by it every day in almost every house (vinyl floor, carpets, shower curtains, etc.). It's not terribly toxic, but in large quantities, it might have negative effects on health.

Second, the PVC dildos from dildoking.de are manufactured in the EU and thus (I wrote them a mail) only contain DINP and other lare-molecule phtalates if at all, which have been shown to largely stay within the plastic, and even then they have no measureable impact on health. So from a medical point of view, there is absolutely nothing wrong with using them, especially if it's only for a few hours per week.

I'm not saying silicone as a material has no use - it's not as "slick", it's odourless, more sturdy, can be sterilized and lasts a lifetime if treated with care.
