I'll start with the physical side - I'm 6'1 or so, fit but not big (strange body, can never appear swole, think swimmer with more toned arms or boxer with less fat). Dark straight hair, usually shaved into a buzzcut, very dark eyes. Thick beard that grows really fast and I usually shave. I live a very healthy lifestyle and take care of myself and my appearance. Australia has a generally terrible internet connection but I met an australian dev team while at the convention, so I have no idea what it's like but know the jobs exist. Game dev generally isn't fun unless it's your own project, and programming is really like the modern equivalent of working on your car, the attitude and approach are so much alike it's ridiculous.

About 1 year ago I was sick of doing just enough to live like my friends, go to college learning at a pace set for the worn down, and finally just up and accepted that I can do all these things but wasn't putting in the effort on my end, just whatever pace was the standard, i.e. the bare minimum. So about 7 months ago I got my first real job, ended up having three and realized hard work can get you nowhere if you don't want to think. Then 2 months ago I moved to California on a whim and a loose plan, starved myself pretty harshly the first month but I'm just glad I move fast. I have a job now, I haven't been on track programming and real estate wise the last month because I have to struggle with living through something that hinders my progress, but it gives me a place to stay. The worst part is I could get back on track easily and don't, and fuck I'm so lonely, I'm >>22708110 in these threads on /soc at the very least wanting someone too talk too. But shit if I'm going to drop a chance to make a million dollars by the time I'm 23 if I can see the path to it.

Whatever job you want you can do it, and it always has a simple solution, when people say "It's not easy" all I hear is "I want it, but I don't want to do the work for it". You don't need to be smart, just be willing to grind out toward what you want.

Thank you. I had a pretty dichotomous upbringing in South America. My family was pretty well off for half my childhood, and then we lost all of it and lived in relative poverty. I had a pretty rough time here in the States, but I'm really happy at my university now.
