I'd say it's simply small clouds forming above plantations. You can tell because they have exactly the same shape as the forests underneath

In cases like this Google Earth has a function to look at older pictures

It is called sunlight reflecting off of lakes. See how the tree lines around the lakes have shadows and the shiny part shimmers in a wave like manner.

I have seen the same thing in airplanes flying over lakes, it only happens at a small angle but it looks wired and it can be blinding bright at times.

The "software" has nothing to do with this. However, using a different source or time period for the photos can often times show different things.
